  1. MiG in that first video is using JATO pods... That would be why.
  2. Team VRC are doing an F-100D IIRC.
  3. Perhaps try deleting the folder, then repairing?
  4. It does strike me as odd that no-one is doing one. It is one of the most popular, and yet least classified multirole fighters still in service.
  5. I'm patient and physically fit. Good enough? :D
  6. Go for a global weapon mod, it would be much easier than individual packs due to the amount of weapon types available. I am really looking forward to seeing more of your work in DCS!
  7. AFAIK Georgia will work in EDGE, but will not use any more features than it does now (i.e. terrain mesh & textures will remain as they are now etc, but new lighting) and will do so for free. Nevada uses most, if not all of the EDGE specific functionality. (i.e. higher terrain resolution and mesh, as well as the new lighting etc.) But will be paid for.
  8. As we get EDGE itself free of charge, Nevada is simply a terrain area, much like OrbX. If it was $50 for Nevada and it was required for EDGE access, then it would IMO actually be too low. People want EDGE, and Nevada is just the initial showcase for the EDGE tech. Thus to some people Nevada = EDGE. Also, I said a fair few not most.
  9. While you are correct, having what most will view as merely a "map" cost as much as a full DCS module will at the very least aggravate a fair few customers. PR is not ED's strong point. (Black Shark 2 anyone?) Just saying that ED should be a little careful where they go here, as valid or not, people will compare DCS to other competitors.
  10. I concur, $25-$30 would be the sweet spot for me personally.
  11. Do you think it could realistically be achieved? My wallet wants me to ask! :pilotfly:
  12. I see what you did there! :D F86 v P51 engagements can be rather interesting, that's for sure.
  13. I don't know why or how, but the second full reinstall has it working again. Thanks anyway Skate
  14. No antivirus was active during install or launch, and is not at present. DxDiag attached Thanks for the help Skate! DxDiag.txt
  15. Updated to 1.2.9 today. Bought F86. Then installed F86. Upon launching DCS world, it just closes down after the CMD-style box pops up (the launcher.exe box). No logs, no DCS has stopped working, just closed down. So reinstalled from scratch. Same thing. Drivers are up to date too. Damn frustrating, and could do with a hand. :helpsmilie:
  16. Well, when (or if) the F-86 releases, I will be some $50 poorer, and Belsimtek the same amount richer!
  17. Given how literally everything I like, not just flight-sim stuff, is getting delayed these days, I would hazard a guess at 28/07 at the earliest. Would sure like to be surprised though!
  18. Funny, was just wondering why this hadn't been done yet. Brilliant work Devrim!
  19. And it had supercruise. In the 1950's! If only us Brits still built stuff like we used to. :D Back on topic, ROLL ON THE SABRE!
  20. Oh god yes. Beauty of an aircraft.
  21. Downloaded for those beefy 24A2 sounds. Nice job!
  22. It's things like this that demonstrate just how much you put into this module. The attention to detail is just mind-blowing. I honestly think the MiG-21 will become THE standard by which all other modules will be compared.
  23. Damn you Rock! getting my hopes up like that! :D
