  1. I've always flown F-16 style, so my stick has always been to the right of me, for all aircraft. So if I had an FFB, I'd have it off to right.... Been using a WarBRD (and TM stick), no issues getting to my crosswinds. Will continue to watch and assess these products as they come out. He's one opinion/data point, so I take it as such...
  2. I've typically kept the DCS install exempted from my Defender scans. I just removed the exemption, scanned, and came up with the M2000 .dll I own the Harrier and M2000, but haven't flown either in a few years. So I just removed them, and will go back and put in place my DCS exemption.
  3. I've tried other maps, same issue. No matter what I fly for AAR, I'll get the blackout. Any other mission type, the Aero is fine. Wondering if it's some sort of script/thingy for the AAR function? At a loss. Would really love to do AAR for extended missions, but unfortunately cannot with the Aero.
  4. Strange issue with my Aero. With both the A-4E-C and F-4, whenever I attempt an AAR mission, my Aero starts to flicker and then blackout for 10 seconds or so. Just as I'm about to get connected up to the boom for the fueling. It's a pretty consistent failure. The issue only comes up with the AAR. Otherwise, my Aero has been solid for every aircraft I own.
  5. woot, thank you HB team. awesome job!
  6. I received the same message earlier this morning. I tried a few more times periodically throughout the day, and then was lucky to get a download going. For me, it was about 4-6 hours from my first attempt.
  7. me too, the throttle is not working on my K-51 Collective either.
  8. I once used a double "??", (and got torpedoed). And I still use a double space after a period. (sorry, my typing teacher was a drill sergeant). I know at one point I'll get the 'hook... as to when, pending. I have two other thingy's awaiting their release. I can't do a third....
  9. eyeballing it, cool chopper!
  10. thank you for sharing Victory. What an incredible man CDR Gaither was to survive that. Thank you for your service.
  11. Indeed I knew he flew the Turkey. I was just curious if he ever flew the F-4.
  12. Victory, just curious. Did you ever fly the F-4?
  13. I've been flying the A-4, F-5, and F-14, in anticipation of the Rhino. It'll be here one day soon enough. Having fun with these other mod's nonetheless...
  14. The Jug? Heck yes! great war bird. Warm her up proper, and she's good to go. She'll bring you home safely.
  15. getting close, so I pulled the trigger.... when it drops, it drops, but I'll be ready for the Rhino!
  16. thank you OP!
  17. some fresh jokes for sure...
  18. Loving mine, a nice step up from my G2.
  19. I've been doing just this, flying the Turkey a lot. Figuring it will help with learning the Rhino.
  20. During my initial shakedown with the Aero I had it enabled. Didn't like it, not "smooth" at all. Noticed some drops. Hence, went with the 45fps/locked setup. I had been following dburne about his experiences and setup. (RIP Don)
  21. FWIW. Do a quick search, some vendors have the Aero with an additional 10% off of the recent price cut, (Black Friday).
  22. Awesome, another desert dweller! I'm quite happy with the Aero. It is a step up from the G2. (For my G2, I'm on my second power cable). With the recent price cut on the Aero, that kinda tipped my hand. Also, I did need some base stations, so I just went to Steam for those, (V2 version). They're cheaper than buying from Varjo, and work great. I ordered some lens inserts (via VR Optician). I have inserts in my G2, and they sure did help. I'll have the inserts for the Aero probably in about a week, so I'll post another update after I install them. Right now with DFR, really enjoying DCS and flying the Jug. In MSFS, been having a lot of fun in the F4F and Wilga. Really digging the Aero!
