Hi, I have the live one, I bought it because of the rotarys, but the loupedeck works different to the el gato streamdeck, i mean : As far as I know, the device can't read data from DCS, like el gato does, so , in a best way , no need of luas and the programs to extract data from DCS, so less resources consuption, It has a plugin that works with vjoy , so you can send a joy press button or a rotary like directX joy input.... that allows to assign every button joy input, 123 total to a function at DCS,. In the other way, programming is a bit tedious, because you must design each page for each function (for example a page for radar, other for panels, other for landing gear and this kind of stuff) and even you can asign diferent position buttons , if you press the equivalent at the DCS screen , in your device it will not change because you are not reading data from dcs, if ONLY press the loupedeck buttons it will chage according to the programmed. Don't know if I explained myself, but is a great device, (i use it also with photoshop , davinci etc) but lacks of profiles. This was the purpouse of this thread, to jmerge profiles from all loupedeck users.

Slider Drifting Issue in DCS Control Settings
firefox121 replied to Gideon312's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Did you checked than no other controller is asigned to the MAN TRK, and giving wrong inputs? also uncheck at options tab the calibrate at start button....and when enter simulation move the slider up down to recenter it. This might solve the problem. -
Of course, I mount it on my left index finger , so the optical sensor points owards, not need to config buttons, only some practice, but if you can't use it there is a program named xmousebuttoncontrol that allows you to reconfigure all the mouse inputs and swap them. you can find it here https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmousebuttoncontrol.htm

I use this mouse finger mounted, found at aliexpress, works fine with my leapmotion and even without it, only with fixed cross at center ot the screen. The center is rotating wheel mouse and the other two buttons are mouse buttons, very cheap, 10-12$ or less, only the long time for shippong (a week or two). It can also be found at amazon.

This workerd for me.... I have a winwing orion hotas, so I binded the movement to axis, I discovered that If I do this....the problems that you describes starts, no recentering etc....so, I assign the movement axis to keyboard strokes, (winwing can have axis and buttons at the same hotas), at this moment, the recenter button works perfect, so if you can't bind buttons to your axis like me, only have to press the key up, or down, left or right assigned to move the vivian at your keyboard and instantly the center button should work fine.

As far as I remember, the x-56 joystick has a twist axis that can be bounded to rudder, you must make some curve setting in order not to be so sensitive... So you can bind rudder axis to your siteck joystick z axis.

AH-64D cyclic not responding winwing stick.
firefox121 replied to Medalheart's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
At winwing with shker enabled could be two things. -One, not enough power at usb, try a powered one) or Usb not configured to be always awake, try to look at device administrator, at usb and in all the usb devices properties unchek the "allow this device to turn off in order to save energy" or something like that. Mine is in spanish!! -Two : any kind of trouble at scrip winwing lua when simapp is running, (personally I dont use at my orion f18 winwing), remember hd to edit a param in one line refering to the miliseconds..check winwing forum -
I mean this buton, at sidewinder ffb 2 must be ticked in order to feel the forces right. Other thing that you can check is your preferences at windows joy panel , With my sidewinder is not an option because win11 does not provides support, only forces but can't be adjusted like wheels etc , where you can change the force amount, the spring force etc.. If all of this fails for you, search the simFFb app at githubm and install, there you can assign forces even change profiles to see if that behaviour goes better. My sidewinder works well, but , it has a center dead zone where the forces does not works well (almost none) and with the apache is a bit disapointing due to the behaviour of his computer and the autopilot stuff. (a minimal input disenganges the control) , I solved it by attaching a rubber tape at the stick gimbal, so it adds friction and the joy stays wher I leave it without no movement. Hope it helps r

If I understand you will solve it by assigning at the axis controls tab, when you select your device, press the focefeedback botton and see what forces are assigned to compensator and to vibration, If you set the compensator force (The first one ) over 50, the joy will jump when you release the trimm (on choppers), vibration has no effect. Also at Specials tab, I discovered that setting trim to "default(ffb friendly) not to "ffb joy without springs" this behaviour is less noticeable. This is on my sidewinder ffb2 , also , in this joy, I must select "inter axis" to feel forces right. Think that at Logitech G940 must be disabled. On planes the compensator force works well betwen 80-100 (as your preferences) and vibration too. But when flying choppers always 50 or less If you fly also the gazelle, make sure at special tab to enable "use his own force feedback" or something like that and "ALWAYS" the two sliders that refers ffb to 0, if not your joy will jump over the selected trim position. Hope it helps

AH-64D cyclic not responding winwing stick.
firefox121 replied to Medalheart's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Tree silly questions: - have you checked the axis page? sometimes the cyclic axis are assigned to more than one device that may induce some kind of anti responses. In my experience , the x and y axes was assigned too to the rudder brake pedals, so any minor input at the pedals changed my joy position - Are you sure the bindigs are made at the pilots page not at the weapons officer page? -Make sure your trottle imput is set to maximun, if not. helo does not take off due to lack of power.... If nothing of this works, try to delete the apache inputs folder at user\your user name\blah blah blah...... and restart DCS so yhe apache will create new device inputs. -
Here I post my set of icons research to use at DCS. If anyone has more icons feel free to share with us. A sample of the file content.Total icons 346. Researching more for every plane and chop. ICONOS DCS.rar

If you want custom icons must do this: First of all at game control create your press joy buttons button 1, 2 3 etc....whathever you want to use... I recommend to create more buttons than you need Remember the ction Button press then at fields 1 and 1 step 2 : press custom assign step 3 : press multi-togle-action, will show you a window to assign That says drag action here step 4 : press game control again, so you will see at the top your created buttons. step 5 : drag your joy button to the action, I recommend to do this from fist to last, so every action will have a button press . step 6 : click add step 2/5 and repeat the drg and drop action. then save, so you will have a only button with two stages. Then only rename the multi togle to gear for example, drag an drop it on your loupedeck screen an edit the icons as ypu want, the first for example up, and the second for example down....I use these two, but if you want more icons pm a private So when you press firt time gear will go down(if you assign the key in dcs to gear down) and loupedeck will show the gear down icon and when you press second time (and assign the press to gear up at dcs) you will raise the gear and icon will show up. Hope it will help you

As far as I can remember there are some keybinds allowing you move the IHADS apache as you get confortable, not sure if you are talking of this...

Yep, triyed this evening and steam must stay backwards and also mst run through openVR not openXR
-
I found recentñy an app that seems could solve part of your issues, It works trough steam an allows you to create mixed reality windows to see trough them, the name is "Reality Mixer - Mixed Reality for VR headsets" I bought it at low price at steam. And works fine, sadly I don't use steam anymore for flying DCS , but now I am Thinking to start again because recently bought two trustmaster's MFDs. I will try this afternoon Here are a two examples Sadly only works with steam Vr, the good news is that the developer is diggin to make openXR compatible, maybe next release

Glad to help, indeed, you don`t need to attach your controller unless you want to use the passtrough where the controller is aiming, if you remain the cursor centered (remember it turns blue?) nevermind, it stays always centered at screen) when you move your head, you can point the cursor where you wants simply looking at it with tour head, and click the finger mouse or rotate the wheel like you want, requires a bit of practice but works well too.
-
Have you tryed to first of all, before launching DCS activate win+y and the launch dcs? maybe will work
-
In fact , I only used the passtrough to reach my cougar mfds, don't know if cursor still remains behind the view at the dcs windows, sorry will go deeep and see, as far as I know it is only a passtrough not any kind of mixed reality.

What and where binding must I search for this option?

Glad to hep, with the finger mouse and the leapmotion is enough to play if you are far enough from your monitor and your desk, I have now my controls mounted into my armchair so I can play far from the monitor, when my hotas was mounted on my desktop the leap motion was hardly usable, always touching my screen before reaching the virtual buttons (lol) , Also if you can acces to a 3d printer search for leapmotion mount at github, and print one to attach it to your reverb g2. This is the one I am using https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5199324
