  1. AFAIK, the monocle and all the stuff must be rendered in the two eyes in order to achieve the 3d effect in VR, the left right or both eye ihads is for drawing the IHADS info on one eye or both, with my eyes for example, if I only select the right eye I see the green a little less brighter, so I must enable both eyes. If you enable only right eye you must experience the behaviour you are looking for. Like in "real life" you are capable of seeing with both eyes the stuff is in front of them, so you have a 3d percepcion of the environment, but the info will be displayed only to the chosen eye in dcs, more or less like on the movie from Nicholas Cage "Fire Birds (Wings of the Apache)". One more thing, at your DCS Vr pref. uncheck ipd distance or force it between 55-65, you will see IMHO better 3d distance...(at least on my reverb g2), maybe this is your failure.
  2. Also in your DCS settings p.d in vr set to 1.0 and MSAA off, Upscaling at oxr toolkit I have mine at CAS 100% for better graphics, and in OXR developer toolkit try this settings, mine works without shutters and in worst scenery 45 fps.
  3. try to use the saitek programming software, sometimes used devices has profiles saved inside and will not work as intended. If I can remember, the slider button (the one you can reach with your thumb finger, usually used as brake switch , has only two positions forward and backward) and only one is enabled each time you press it)
  4. In VR I use this device https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005004385216575.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.45.7527576aNt85I4&algo_pvid=8f05e41d-051e-4fe4-a3d1-6be65b1e038c&algo_exp_id=8f05e41d-051e-4fe4-a3d1-6be65b1e038c-22&pdp_npi=3%40dis!EUR!17.71!6.02!!!!!%402102111816850522567445956d07ee!12000028993223709!sea!ES!4218856019&curPageLogUid=28eJ42rILTNb , point with my head and press the buttons Found that the best way to use it is on my right index finger at the first falange.....don't interferes when grabbing the stick and buttons and wheel are easy reachables.
  5. For me, as I am a bit left handed to build anything, best option is this found years ago ... https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005004385216575.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.45.7527576aNt85I4&algo_pvid=8f05e41d-051e-4fe4-a3d1-6be65b1e038c&algo_exp_id=8f05e41d-051e-4fe4-a3d1-6be65b1e038c-22&pdp_npi=3%40dis!EUR!17.71!6.02!!!!!%402102111816850522567445956d07ee!12000028993223709!sea!ES!4218856019&curPageLogUid=28eJ42rILTNb Very useful with fingers app and with leapmotion, has left and right button also a scroll wheel . See my post with photo attached to my finger above.
  6. Same here, To takeoff I must fully press left pedal till the end to takeoff without tail rotating, don`t know if this is like the real one, but based on real huey pilots videos think "this is not the way" (mandalorian says ) ....in my experience, the huey now has become super difficult on takeoffs , landings and also hovering....
  7. + one here too with a ffb joy...now I am going to delete apache module and reinstall again, to see if some file has not been overwritten.
  8. Totally Agree , but I have no room in my desktop (my wife is going to kill me), besides, this bird is really fun to fly when I realize that trying to make hard counter movements only goes the things bad, most of times I only pull my hands off the stick for a while and all becomes easy (more or less) again
  9. One thing that helped me a lot was to release brakes on wheels.. Not rolling so heavy with no brakes on wheels
  10. Sometimes happens to me, when this happens, I unplug the power cable attached to the box going to the headset, wait till wmr portal says plug the device, and plug the cable again to the power box, all works fine.... When I use the little button to swicth the hmd on/off the method does not work.
  11. One question about those who fly the Apache with a non spring joy, or with a FFB like microsoft sidewinder ff2. In that situation, must I press and hold the force trim button, or because the nature of my joy (is configured to maintain his position when I am not touching it)? or simply release the joy in his position without pressing the force trim? Even using the atthold mode and altitude mode.....pressing the respective buttons. Thanks
  12. Try p.d. 1.0, and tell me in single player your perf. and fps
  13. PD 1.2 is too high for VR with your config, try 1.0, you'll get better performance, post your headset and I sent you my config to achieve 90-70 fps
  14. Don't know if I can Help but here we go. After almost fighting with my reverb g2 3 years I found this : - Is very , very sensitive to the light, needs a good light environment. - It may be obvious, but cleaning the four little camera lens and do not interfere them with cables and other stuff is imperative. Found me having issues because of putting on my headset and touch one lens that get obstructed with my finger print - I noticed also that in certains configurations with OXR toolkit, the wobbles appears more often than with other configs , normally when I try to go beyond the GPU limit , and have retroprojection on, - At the new OXR developers toolkit , If you enable motion reprojection , two new options are enabled, one of them is "disable optic flux in nvidia RTX ...o" or something like that, in my rig this MUST be DISABLED in order not to see bubbles... Hope this help By the way I never ever have reseted my environment, and so far never needed it. Hope This help. My rig is almost like yours, I fly with OXR developers toolkit at 100%, at oxr tools cas and sharpening at 70%, force resolution between 2750 and 3000 , motion compensation ON and unlocked FPS, shadows medium, terrain shadows off or planar. cockpit lighting off and no msaa and no fxaa... You can play also with p.d. in dcs vr tab between 0.8 and 1.0 Great graphics and smooth playtime.
  15. Think because you have not any customised DCS settings, this is when you search in NVCP your games and prompts default params for the game, if you add a profile for dcs, then the remove button will be usable
  16. Thanks .... now I am a bit less dumb...
  17. Same Issue with reverb G2 in night missions.....almost every time in the right eye
  18. Sorry for the question, but what exactly does FFB adjustment options to the Special Options menu?, I have a sidewinder 2 FFB and don't know how to put the sliders in this ffb options. Can anyone point me into the right direction? Thanks
  19. I have the four campaigns and for me, if you want to fly somehow vietnam m The paradise lost is superb, in order, the second is worlds apart, that brings you long missions and extra task for surprise in some of them And the mad campaign is not bad, and if you have the gazelle can be replayed In free campaigns take a look to the superb campaigns from Chef98, The move and combat order , very fun, and of course download the Larking campaign based on the take on helicopters. Last recommendation is the I love this job mission, super super fun and very replayable...all civil missions and well narrated.
  20. You must find 64bits drivers for the device, If you are lucky enough when plug the device win10 will find for you, but think is too old. Tere are some modules that recognize the ffb in dcs, helos, almost every plane yn flamming cliffs, Mirage f1, the p51, mig 25 and mig 21 and f-5 (only detent force no vibs) You can point then to joyffb in github, but if the device is not detected as a ffb device I think joyffb does not works.
  21. Just click right mouse button in your windows bar, select "scheduler administrator" in my spanish rig is "administrador de tareas" and at the services tab search for "OVRservice and OVRlibraryblahblah" and stop this services before launch, problem solved.
  22. You must click on this point, is the only point where the menu appears.
  23. Just start DCS in flat mode, at your full monitor resolution, bring the fps counter and place it in the middle of the screen, when you start in Vr the conunter will be just in your nose
  24. YEs, go to the VR tab and in the hands options choose no finger pointers- I found also the solution to displaced fingers, you must run the OXRT without zoom, and if you can in DCS VR options enable IPD and set to 62-64, but the most important thing is no zoom
  25. Solved, reinstalling gemini drivers and setting fov to 62 in DCS vr settings solved the issue, also in OXRT set all zoom values to 100%
