  1. With the last OB patch, playing in VR MT, leapmotion works fine, but when I try to touch a button, for example with my right index finger, it press the button next to the one I am pressing. Then I used the cursor see option to understand what is happening, and the pointer is displaced to the right enought to touch the button next the one I try to touch. Tried lots of fov and ipd settings and no one is working, always is displaced.

    Hello, your rig is pretty much similar to mine (3080ti for me) can you post your settings cause if I dont use motion reprojection always on (it stucks at 45 fps) I got many ghosting trees etc looking left or right the cockpit.
  3. Ok, welcome to the Leap motion Issues... First of all.... the device displays a interpretation on where it things the fingers should be when you have your device attached to the head., so if you put it on the desk the weird issue must disappear because the device is capable of see all the fingers...BUT I don't know if works desk mounted in VR. I recommend a head mount but with a inclination of at least 15 degrees looking down Second, the device is highly sensitive to reflections (monitor light, top hall lights etc), works better with a less lighted environment, that is a bad thing to the headset cameras , so is a bit tricky to configure lights in the room, some people uses a cardboard plate or something like that to put it on the monitor screen and not be interfered with the monitor bright. Also ensure you have the latest drivers from leapmotion working (ultraleap now) And one more thing the device works better with high end rigs that can process all at a time ... You should buy a finger mouse ring , it allows you to click where your cursor is, not using the trigger movement or other movement because is very very sensitive, the most of the times you did not trigger the mouse click at the right place, ot else bind right mouse and left mouse click to your hotas Also make sure to bind the hands on/off button at your Hotas buttons, because if you touch your axis the hadns disappears unless you have selected the use touch joy in the special Leap Motion tab. Add for me, this is the weird thing, You must be far from your monitor desk etc, if you fly like me with the controllers mounted on the top of the desk the Leap Motion is totally a trash because your fingers and hands will collide with ,literally, EVERYTHIG in front of you making the experience very very anoying. If you can solve all this issues , the leapmotion is a great experience.
  4. An advice, use the original openvr_api.dll that installs DCS, works with better performance than the one downloaded from opencomposite, at least in my rig
  5. Hello, I can`t see the config page under VR in latest ob patch, the mod works, but can't configure inside the headset, (fly in oxr with a Reverb G2) , deleted metashaders and fxo but nothing.... In flat version it displays the config page (shift+f7) without issues..... What can I do?
  6. Think is due to the cockpit displays resolution option at the main config menu, try 1024 a 1024 each frame to see if it solves the issue

  8. I think you must add a space between the " and the -- symbols on the first line, alos between the VR and the --force_OpenXR so is like I have mine "your main user installation\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR Try to copy this and see

Muy buenas, creo que es un problema con las librerías de gráficos, probablemente algunas de ellas, (las que te fallan) estén en formato BMP en vez de DDS, prueba a buscar las que tengan esa extensión y convertirlas a .dds, no se si simplemente cambiando .bmp por dds funcionarán, pero por ahí hay editores que lo hacen. Me pasó recientemente con un mod para los instrumentos del HUEY que llevaba un archivo tal que xxxx.bmp.dds, lo renombré a xxxx.dds y funcionó, creo que tiene algo que ver en cómo el nuevo motor maneja las texturas... ya me dirás, y si funciona por favor pásame el link por PM o cómo quieras

Hello...Hello, sorry....but.....at the end, this is a game, and this is for fun......don't bother if I can fly with two...or twenty troops, just fly and have fun....I am not a real pilot and I don't need this tables......if all is implemented as the original chop, we will have less fun, because , at first, is impossible to feel the g-forces, or the behaviour...., so please enjoy the game... ED if you take all this and adapt it to the game, please leave a "for more enjoy" option or something like that for all we just fly and fun...... As mandalorian said....this is the way......
  13. Hi, yesterday, my system shows me a screen to update to win 11, but not done yet Somebody using sidewinder force feedback 2 joystick has migrated to win 11 and still getting the force effects? I read almost a year before that win 11 hasn't support for this ffb joysticks

As said in other post, @BIGNEWY, it will be a great improvement to be able to move the hands in the z axis (like now with the y axis), so for people like me that are playing desktop VR and controllers mounted in my desktop table could reach buttons without touching our monitors . Thanks for all your efforts. Could you suggest this to the "dev team"...?

First Helo game "sim" I flew "combat air lynx" in my old amstrad cpc 464 Later I bought Gunship imported from Uk to spain : (turn sound off ) I swear that in my memory I was flying the best simulator in the world. Sorry for that, lol, I am flying more time I can remember since 1986 or after even...and now I am 53 years old.....

Interesting test, but as I said, for me is a matter of perception, also fps, I am been able to fly the apache in marianas with shadows enabled at medium and IHADS enabled too and land in the carrier parked at harbour in the quickstart mission with RBAR enabled in the default profile, in my "old" 3080ti and i9-10850k, without it enabled , when I reached the supercarrier and enabled IHADS to see the flir image, my fps in vr dropped to 20ish and a little slideshow.....maybe in my rig is more noticeable than in a 4090....and a 12700kf.... Maybe it works on lower rigs and processors. Or something was wrong in my configuration.
  18. Yes, This is, I enabled it globally, not for game. And worked In my setup, default is disabled , thats is my post reason. I enabled It by default and K-boom no more sutters and smooth as silk. Just saing, it works on my rig...easy to see if it works...
  19. maybe is a bios issue, are the processor speeds and the memory speeds the same in both computers? are the processor parameters equal in both bios?, and even are the vsync options in the gpu the same? There are a lot of params that can make a worse experience running DCS

Found yesterday, that , even I have my Resizable bar enabled in my bios and my nvida control panel info says resizable bar on, when I look into the latest nvidia inspector program, resizable bar is OFF by default, so I tried something, and enabled it for all the profiles. Found a great improvement in DCS running trough OpenXR, I have retroprojection On and with shadows on medium, even max , all goes smooth as silk, (45 solid fps in all scenarios, even with the apache), no double view nor jitter...think is a great improvement for those like me that where thinking that RBAR was doing his job. Hope it helps.

As far as I know, F5 module has not FFB implementation.....only a small force detent in the longitudinal axis to simulate the aileron limiter FFB modules P-51 mig 15 Mig 21 (not sure) F-14 Mirage F1 (not working well at this time) Helicopters modules in trim implementation (holds stick in trimmed position) Sas Viggen none Flaming cliffs module nor new advanced era Aircrafts (f/18, f16, etc ) has FFB implementation.
