You can do easy, only must press win+Y on your keyboard while running VR, so you will see a blue line on the top of the screen saying "don't remember exactly what" If you have your rig well configured to hear and recognize speech, only say "torch on" or "torchlight on" (in spanish "linterna encendida") and IF YOUR CONTROLLERS ARE NOT ENABLED you will see the passtrough, if controllers are enabled the passtrough will point where they are pointing....so if they are resting at the table you will see a circle over the table... Think I posted years ago some instructions....here tou have the link It worked always for me no matter if I am at full sacreen or windows, I am not playing the steam version. Make sure you enables thos "BLUE LINE" Here you have another post I think will bring more light :

Enough for use eith any rig. Yes, I use a leap motion original, but sometimes I only use VR cursor (center in screen so I can move and aim with mi vr headset movement) and press the finger's mouse buttons. Hope it helps

I think this would be a good way to share our loupedeck dcs profiles, icons etc. Here is my sample profile I use with AH -64. apache keyb.lp5
-
Hello, searching for any kinf of profile for using the loupedeck with dcs, curently working in own one, but will be a great idea to share our profiles from loupedeck's users. Here is mine, a simple one keyborad I use with apache. I Use the vjoy loupedeck plugin , that converts loupedeck inputs on joy direct x buttons, so in my case I assigned loupedeck to joy 1 and at this example , the buttons are 1 to 12 from top to bottom. Here you will find the plugins and some instructions apache keyb.lp5

clear the pov assignements from sidewnder, can do by selecting one for one and hitting the clear button or selecting the whole sidewinder column and hitting clear, this will remove all the asignements from your sidewinder, the at thecontrols tab find search, and type aileron, this will reach tou to the aileron keys and you eventually could assign hat buttons to whatever you want. By the way, why you want to controll manually the aileron, the computer does his job well enought in auto mode? another question? where the hell are you settings controls? View at your screenshot that you have a FLAPS asignement, I am unable to find flaps at my ah-64 pilot page controls, neither trim elevator axis, ... are you at the correct plane?
-
As far as I know, at dcs open beta the developers added tree axis bars for drawinng hands at leapmotion tab....did you tryed it yet?
-
Hello again , sent you a PM with my config, here is too... Make sure your srping force is low enough to not force the stick come back to center, if the amount of spring is too high, when you press the trim button the spring will try to center the stick wich is a pain in the ass.

34" Extra wide 1440 or 4K?
firefox121 replied to EmJay22's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I own a MSIOptix MAG321Curv 4kUHD (3840x2160) and I am Impressed how dcs is shown, the only problem I had was that my gtx 2080ti had not enough power to run at 4k resolution, so I was forced to buy two years ago, the 3080 ti to run DCS at 4k resolution, till now I am impresed with the performance playing flat, and happy enough to run VR with my rebervb g2. 4k monitor at least with 32" is a game changer in terms of visuals, even I discovered that the recycle bin icon is transparent (lol). Personally I don't recommend a ultra WQHD monitor, the 1440 resolution is not better, even with a high diameter (usually 34') , it allows you to run apps like two 24' or 27' monitors. but if you are not a graphic designer the 4k res is much much more beautiful. Playing DCS at 4k resolution, at least for me, allows me not to use the msaa x2 or x4 and still have straight lines. Also try to find the highest refresh rate than you can afford, of course, but at my 60hz monitor can play flat mode at 120 even 160 fps without tearing at full graphics configuration. Sorry for my english , I am not native speaker, hope it helps you. -
If you need some help, you can reach me via whatsapp....p.m. a private and I'll reach you for help

Also if you wnat to use it ONLY withe choppers, the simffb app works fine, it allows to tune the two aes well and assig button to the trim functions to make sure the joy stays where you want. The only issue is that removes all ffb effects from planes etc,..... only for helos...but does his job very very well. Here is the file https://github.com/joeyjojojunior/simFFB

I have a Sidewinder and windows is not showing forces, bur I owned a wingman force 3d and I remenber ( if I am not wrong) than with his software the forces were present...I'll try this night and tell you
-
At AH64 its named force hold/trim switch, usually asigned ti trim hat up, but bind it where you can reach it easily because it shoud be pressed lots of times. Usually you must remain it pressed to "teach" the flight computer ehat you want and depress it where you want the joy stay. When you depress it and with ffb well tuned the wingman force 3d must stay at the last position . if you press comprensator reset or trim reset (Lctrl+T) the sidewinder must go to central position. At huey for eample the key are T (to trim) and Lctrl+T to compensator neutral....and so on In order to have this kind of behaviour, at tune axis ffb setting, (in choppers) the ffb amount must be less than 50%, else the spring will be strong enough and force the joy to central position
-
Silly question, did you enabled the ffb use at options tab?, also in order to "feel" the ffb efects you must tune axis at controls tab and tell the amount of ffb and shake effects. Also DCS only enables the ffb while flying, not in main menu screens. Tip 2. Make sure that you have not any profile assigned to the toy and tune the ffb at devices windows control panel to have proper forces, not too strong and not too weak. Make sure you are not using any external program like simFBB , it enables a kind force, but overides dcs ffb control Otherwise, apache has not ffb like shakings etc, it only remains the stick at the position you left it when trim button is pressed.

I use also a winwing orion base for planes and a sidewinder ffb2 for choppers, but I found the sidewinder ffb2 has a grat gooble center zone that makes the precision chopper handle very difficult. I am thinking also to buy a orion 2 only base with the dampers.....as far as I know the stick stays when you left it...

No problem, the screenshot was the realtek control panel audio at settings...it enables multiple sound exits if you have for example a headphones attached at front ports... Glad to be helpful
-
Hello, I think you have something wrong at your WMR sound configuration. See my img WMR sound config. Try to set wmr like this, and at DCS asign your config like your img or swap to see if it works. If you have a realtek device , also config the exit like this : This works fine to me.... null

Yes, All I said is VR oriented, so you must mount your device on your headset, I recomend you a printable headset mount, depending of your device (oldest or newst v2) and of course it should be a little oriented to desktop...This is mine, curved for HP reverb G2. You can find lots of models at Thingiverse
-
Depends of your cockpit.....I mean, if you are seated in front of a desktop and your joystick are OVER the desktop, tou will find a lot of troubles to reach the buttons, bacause you are touching sometimes the monitor, sometimes the desk, sometimes your hand is under the desk.......and leap motion loses track If you are seated far away from any obstacle it works super fine with supported modules (DCS legacy) with all the others modules you should bind a key to LMB or RMB or use the pointer option with gestures (click using thumb or index movement) that sometimes is very tricky due to induced shaking hands movement
-
You should try to see if your monitor is assigned like monitor 1 on windows 11, also at nvidia control panel search the option adjust size monitor at screen tab and meke sure it displays something like that: And make sure that you selected also PC at your graphics size....maybe this will solve the issue Also try to see if the wmr portal is configured like that

Reverb G2 on 5800X3D, asus PRIME X570-PRO, 32 GB RAM help needed
firefox121 replied to Luka CMF's topic in VR Bugs
You shouldn't have (with this rig) problems......I use a Intel i9-10850k and have sustained 45fps with reprojection On ... all smooth. Try in WMR toolkit to select use best framerate and uncheck use rtx optic flux (blah blah) and eneble prefer FPS over latency at WMR portal config....do not let windows to decide quality, select use best quality in visuals. DON'T .... repeat DON'T use MSAA X2 or X4 at dcs graphics options....of course at DCS vr tab pixel density to 1.0 Disable ANY VSYNC option you have at nvidia control panel and at DCS graphics tab AT OXR Toolkit use CAS to 50% or avobe and in reprojection Tab use default or ON (with the disabled in framerate) And try...... -
Is your leapmotion device mounted over your headset or it is on the desk? Think it works with the device over the headset, also try to use one ot the tree methods (oculus, gereric or the other), for now I don't use finger anymore, I am using the cursor centered at the scree with use mouse disabled at vr tab and pressing the button when the cursor is over it with my finger mouse ( or whatever keubinding are using you)

How do I center the view on a HP Reverb G2 in-game?
firefox121 replied to Hobo 1-1's topic in Virtual Reality
Maybe a light problem? most times it happens when my ambient light is too low or my monitor goes up with bright, also sometimesone of my headset position cameras are dirty due to my fingertips etc.... try to increase the lightroom -
Holy crap!! I never could imagine this use, but......will do soon....thanks for the idea.....
