try to shut down or cover monitor, sometimes reflections interferes in a bad way with reverb cameras. Also the light is imperative, on my setup I usually fly with lights off, monitor on and a govee lighting strap back on the monitor, and have no tracking issues. Check also the camera's lens, some times , taking the headset on ends with our fingers on the lens and cover them with dirt, I always clean the outside lens with a clean cloth.

You can try to remove spring from x56, an d add some sort of bumpers (for example the one's used on rc cars) there is at github some printed models that allow you to attach the dumpers to the x56 base. Or try to reach a usef microsoft sidewinder force feedback 2 , for me is the best option to fly helicopters at a budget price.

Just for join the discussion, I found the kiowa very pleasant to fly (despite some known for all ground efect etc...) just viewing some REAL KIOWA videos, like I post here, the helo seems to go over rails, no much oscilations , flying straight close to the floor....don't know , for me is a grat module with a great and funny FM, I am not looking for stuffs like heat or altitude or something else that drops the engine 3% RMP os somethig else, for me this is just for fun. The only thing that I dislike is the lack of missions and a campaign, hope they add soon. Here is the video for your fun, Ah! watch carefully the takeoff because its behaviour is just like the module's behaviour Pollychop keep in the good way, but please, If you think in adding a "hard" Fm for the people that dislikes this, add also a button to switch betwen te two FM.

I think my sound is not working properly, despite forcing the sound labels to my main speakers, and even saying at sound tab 5.1 speakers, cant say that I am hearing 3d sound or positionin sound well, for example at huey, If I open one of rear doors, I assume that some sound will be played at my back speakers, but it comes from all speakes, so I only have a kind of stereo. Here is a lines that see on my dcs.log and says "force to stereo" , it is normal? 2024-06-04 23:18:10.802 INFO INPUT (Main): created [TrackIR] 2024-06-04 23:18:10.803 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Opening default audio device. 2024-06-04 23:18:10.806 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Speaker layout: suround_5_1 (5.1 Surround) 2024-06-04 23:18:10.809 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Driver reports 6 channels with mask 0x3F 2024-06-04 23:18:10.809 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Using 6 channels at 48000 Hz 2024-06-04 23:18:10.809 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Channel layout: FrontLeft FrontRight FrontCenter LowFrequency SideLeft SideRight 2024-06-04 23:18:10.850 INFO ED_SOUND (Main): Opening default audio device. ------ it appears to be normal BUT----- 2024-06-04 23:18:10.851 ERROR EFFECTS2 (18640): OParticleSystem: error reading 'liquidAnimationBaking' emitter in 'Config/Effects/ParticleSystem2/liquidLeak.lua' 2024-06-04 23:18:10.852 ERROR_ONCE DX11BACKEND (20660): texture 'LiquidAnimationAlphas' not found. Two questions, Are you using a FFB or non FFB joystick, if the answer is yes, go to axis tab and at the joy column set the ffb forces to minimun, this will prevent your you to deflect. I uses to happen with my sidewinder ffb, other opftion is try to enable/disable ffb efects on main options screen and see the behaviour Aso I your joy is a sidewinder ffb you must check the invert axis oprions at ffb setting axis
-
Don`t know if this will solve your issues, mine started the same but with a Microsoft SIdewinder FFB2, The problem was solved when I unticked at my vjoy virtual devices the force feedback. I remember also there is a modded latest version, try to search at forums, or PM a private and I will sens you a copy.

Thanks, thanks thanks, will try the 80 saturation value, cause my sidewinfer 2 has a bit of gooble at center posittion (don´t know if it is normal as I bought a second hand unit) Another Question, when you says FFB TUNE PITCH AND ROLL: Force 100, Shake 100 and CHECK SWAP AXIS (invert x and y are not checked). You mean that swap axis must be checked and the other two not or all must be unchecked?

I owns The msffb 2 also, It has two problems, first, if you don't cover the "dead man" ir sensor, at the moment you release the joy it looses all the forces , so the stick moves and the afcs disconects, I put a rubber tape on mine to prevent this, the other issue is the center deadzone, that moves witout fotce many milimeters, try to adjust dead zones, also to put at the gimbal some source of resistance (in my case velcro soft face) in order to prevent undwanted mini movements......here attach you a photo of my "solution". Also play with afcs breakout zones

Thanks.. I would try with blending on, for my feelings I set gain to 300% on roll and 250% on pitch, because roll feels less harder.

How will my rig hold up in VR with this beast?
firefox121 replied to Digitalvole's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
I owns a rtx 3080ti and a Intel 19-10850k and a Reberv G2 ,it can maintain 45fps steady at vr, more or less like the apache, with some twakings...but graphics at high, no shadows, and no msfaa. At WMR I selected use best FPS available, and nvidia optic flux. No shimmering at caucasus in free flight mission -
After reading this post........and I have a question: I owns a Microsoft Sidewinder ffb2, so I unchecked the two blend and the other param and tune up the gain to 250% both axis and I feel more or less good My question : For all of the less rich people like me that can't afford the expensives new ffb's joysticks .... What the hell are the good settings? Can someone owning MSFFB2 point me on the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Yes, it works, but if you are not in parameters, the auto-hover starts to engange/disengange quickly and is a really really bad sensation, if you enter this mode , disengange the auto-hover as fast as you can and try to set the helo in parameters again.

I would love to do VR testing also

unable to reproduce AH 64 D is not playable in VR
firefox121 replied to SkYwAlK3R-_'s topic in Bugs and Problems
Try this mod, it used to work by reducing texture load at apache cocjpit, you can downgrade textures to middle or Low without loosing labels and readbility and with an average increase of fps Don't know if still works https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321192/ -
Try to see if there is enough light on room, and cameras are well cleaned, sometimes with a bad lighting the headset looses tracking...

I downloaded the install packages for wmr and wmr tools, just in case of being removed from store. Hope that I could install the packager after the upgrade.

Ultra Leap and Reverb G2 do not work together?
firefox121 replied to mutz's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
Question? If DCS starts with ultraleap software enabled you must check two things: -1st make sure that you have selected at ultraleap settings openxr support and allow images -2nd at DCS misc tab enable ultraleap , and disable in VR tab the hands controls. it must run, if not, you must download an older ultraleap dll and put it on the dcs-mt folder I uploaded a working revision at my dropbox, but I don't know if you can download from there. Try this link, if it doesn't work PM. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/adoz885sntld50ov25nyy/h?rlkey=wrey7lon2ckp2nfayahjhjs0a&dl=0 null- 4 replies

Tree silly questions : - Did you try at windows 11 on system , screen menu to identify the screens? - nullDid you try press "win+p" and project screen to other monitors? - At your BIOS settings, how is your graphic adapter configured, PGA(Primary Graphic Adapter) or your Graphic Card?, you must select for graphic adapter your graphic card not PGA motherboard adapter. - Also check tour HDMI cable, lenght and 4k capability.

SA-342 Gazelle 2023 "FM" Update
firefox121 replied to Polychop Simulations's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Is so good or so bas as your headset and rig capabilities are, for me, I fly the module in VR with a i9-1850k, a 3080ti and reverb G2, , I can achieve solid 45fps, the module demands more or less the same power than the AH-64, but feels so good , beacuse his great transparent cockpit, so the sense of speed is superb at low altitude.
