  1. VKB and VKB North America are working on improving their websites. In the meantime, you can get the latest beta versions (generally stable) from this link (official Russian forum). Due to upload limitations, the software is split in four parts. (VKBDevCfg-C.partn.rar) The firmware (v1.82) for the Tinybox is bundled in the v1_82_0.rar further down in the same thread. I'm currently using the firmware v1.82 for the Tinybox (T-Rudder Mk.II) and the VKB Device Config v0.79.04. No issue.
  2. As long as you use the controllers within DirectX limitations, it should be fine. Afaik the limit is 8 axes and 32 buttons per controller. I currently have 15 axes (5 controllers) connected to my computer and every one of them are responding correctly (and simultaneously) in DCS.
  3. Thanks for sharing all those detailed photos and specific impressions! The BRD-MS3 definitely looks like a great pair of pedals. As you said, I also really think a damping solution could improve the very low mechanical resistance and help managing/filtering our micro-movements and imperfections. It's the same with a friction-less stick like the VKB Black Mamba Mk.III (cams + ball bearings). Let us know if you install a custom damping on your pedals! Just a detail: do you know if Baur used powder coating? (the granular surfaces shown in your pictures could suggest it's not paint) Happy flying!
  4. Longer loading times too on a Samsung 850 evo SSD (500GB) (recently noticed since I switched from 1.5 stable to OB). Starting the sim looks similar (about 32" on OB and OA). Starting the Instant Action cold start mission for the L-39, from click to briefing screen: 81" I know it's not the same assets but as a rough comparison, Instant Action cold start mission for the L-39, on OA: 52" (that's still a lot more time for a very simple mission loaded in OB) (I don't have 1.5 stable installed) ---- A friend also noticed longer loading times using a Crucial MX300 SSD (750GB).
  5. Get the girls ready! Great news! Already on my way!
  6. Hi there, Sorry if it has already been discussed or if it's already planned, I didn't follow the Viggen development closely. The Viggen cockpit being one of the most beautifully crafted ones (if not the best one) to date, I'd like to suggest adding the fake reflection we can see in the L-39 cockpit, on the instruments glass and appropriate shiny surfaces. It will add another layer of immersion to this fantastic aircraft, and probably raise the bar even higher for future modules  Skål !
  7. Unless I'm mistaken, it's not implemented (yet). No key bindings or dedicated axes for the rotaries. There's nothing related in …\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\AJS37\Input\keyboard\default.lua (only the aircraft lights (right console)).
  8. Yes, that's a known issue with the OB.
  9. Cool new Crossfit©® accessory. Is it kettlebell compatible?
  10. Definitely-absolutely-invariably the same here. I'd pay good money for a reliable grip and especially a throttle (I'm currently using a Saitek X-55 throttle… if you catch my drift - I know something about non-reliable). I'm pretty sure many flight sim enthusiasts value their time and flying experience and would want reliability and efficiency. Flying is like kung fu in the air: everything has to be perfect. But of course choices should depend on the available budget or the wife/girlfriend/boyfriend spanking power :D For cheap solutions, Thrusmaster got us covered with the FCS/TWCS. Now, bring the real stuff. Please.
  11. Unless a reliable solution would raise the price to something much less reasonable. Who would pay something like a hundred bucks more just to get an analog ministick on the grip? :music_whistling: Example of Russian analog mini-sticks (military market): КУ-С (KU-S) Авиаавтоматика Su-35 / PAK FA grip ДН-10М (DN-10M) Su-2x
  12. Afaik the metal KG-12 is still on the to-do-list and the prototype has already been tested. But it has a lower priority as there's significant demand for space sim grips/controllers. And just as you, I'd like more information about the "Kosmosima" (space-sim) grip. I really hope it will include an analog ministick, aka thrusters control. It would be a shame the only analog ministick would be the crappy one on the Saitek/former-MadCatz/Logitech X-56.
  13. Yay to that! I also think good communication is key when it comes to web-based medias (before you get your hands on the good stuff). The first contact you have with a purchase is what info you can get and I remember it's been really painful to even find how to buy a Black Mamba when I first got wind of VKB. Fortunately VKB is getting more efficient about the communication. It's a very specific set of skills and, most of all, it requires increasingly consuming availability. So, kudos for your work here, rrohde! We can't die from too much info anyway :D
  14. Nice introduction to the L-39. Thanks!
  15. I just ordered mine from Andre's shop and he's been really helpful and informative ;) Thanks a lot, Andrey! I can't wait to connect the JetSeat and transform my flying experience. I'm not expecting miracles but I'm sure it will be like adding a headtracking solution and that I won't be able to fly without that tactile feedback. The JetSeat will be shipped to the Indian Ocean. Thanks everyone for taking the time to write your feedback, it's been really interesting and definitely the last push that made me buy a JetSeat despite other priorities ;) I'll report back in a few weeks.
  16. Usually not a good idea: if you've had MOAR, you'd want to buy NAOW. (at least, I know I would) Not good for our frustration management :)
  17. dampening dampening dampening Oh no! It's Christmas again! :helpsmilie: As a Black Mamba MkIII owner (an already top-notch flightstick), I can only be excited by this announcement and the pretty pictures. I remember a while back UIV said on the Il-2 forums the Gunfighter had a "little something" no other current flightstick had. One of my guesses (and hopes) was a dampening system! That friction/dampening solution alone is a fantastic technological improvement and I can't wait to get a Gunfighter and have a taste of that new feeling and improved smoothness and accuracy. Please tell March to kick January and February out of the calendar. Thanks! :joystick:
  18. They confirmed it's planned on Reddit/r/HOTAS
  19. Those controllers look great! I also like the choice of (high quality) plastics instead of metal - cost-effective, lighter, not cold to the touch, and when there will be more grips, it means it will be easier for most of us to get them too ;) I'd have two additional questions: Did you consider a twist axis (grip) for the space sim enthusiasts? Is there an analog ministick on the grip? Best of luck to you guys!
  20. Oh. You mean this can happen without digging in some tricky .lua first? Like in "easy"? Thanks! I've never noticed that option before. :D
  21. How can we hide the control stick in the L-39C, please? I can't find any bindings in the controls options.
  22. Same issue here. I quickly tested Batumi, Tbilisi and Kobuleti. Even with landing clearance. All graphic settings @ max. Probably a bug (or a hint about the ongoing work on the new ATC? :P).
