  1. Like I said, I have no idea whether this will work. I'll try and get someone who knows to look at this thread. In the meantime hang tight - other forum members should hopefully also post advice.
  2. You could try that I suppose - I'm not PC-literate enough to render an informed opinion. Might be an issue with registry paths etc etc copying from one disc to another but as said, I really do not know. Did you not keep your install files when you first downloaded them?
  3. I'd definitely recommend you installing it to the SSD in a location other than the default 'Programs' install folder. Try a temporary install to the SSD and see if that helps.
  4. Strictly speaking the Mi-8 is also EFM as it is a third-part module. However and I suppose as a result of the extra-ordinary close relationship that apparently exists between ED and the third-party Belsimtek, ED have expressly admitted that the Mi-8 is/has been developed to such a high fidelity so as to equal their own PFM standards so yes, the Mi-8 is at the very least modelled to PFM standards. I don't see them doing this (evaluating and expressly stipulating Flight Model authenticity in terms of their own terminology) for all other third-party developers and modules but we'll have to wait and see. The Mi-8 would accordingly be a good example of EFM equalling PFM.
  5. What's your install path?
  6. As far as I understand it, PFM = EFM if the third-party Developers model it to the same standard of ED. Who knows, in some instances the third-party EFM might even exceed ED's PFM. Bottom-Line is that the term PFM refers to ED's modules whilst EFM refers to third parties. The distinction is important in representing products to would-be buyers, especially when third-party products are sold from ED's store.
  7. That's normal in that flight regime. No, Sabre will be EFM + ASM.
  8. Welcome :) We need a compressive list of your PC specifications as a start.
  9. Get to know your aircraft thoroughly. Then master basic and advanced flight/aerobatic flight maneuvers, ie Split-S, Immelman, Yo-Yo's, Scissors and all the rest. Get comfortable flying in a 3D environment whilst mastering aerobatics. Once done, only then start concentrating on the principles of combat. Aerial Combat is after all aerial ballet. If you cannot keep a step then you're just gonna end up twisting an ankle and hurting yourself every time.
  10. Still struggling with the complete and utter absence of adequate modelling as it pertains to the essence of the root structure, apparent from the pic: Completely devoid of any apparent lateral or primary root structure, never mind absence of root hairs and root tip in the elongation and meristematic zones respectively. Really gets my Goat up..........
  11. We need a track at the very least.
  12. This thread is jumping about worse than a Mexican Jumping Bean :megalol: @OP - Research and Development takes an extremely long time. I have a feeling that we're almost there so we just gotta be patient. Look how it was for the planes......years of drought and now they're popping up faster than mushrooms.
  13. Radar cannot look down so it cannot see/pick up ground units. Can however engage ground units with air-to-ground ordnance utilizing the radar, together with the ASP, for range calculations only - Radar does not 'lock' ground targets, it only provides distance. In the case of the Kh-66 beam-rider air-to-ground missile, it provides the beam for the missile to 'ride' down to target: You still need to point the radar to the ground in a dive, with radar operating in Fixed Beam mode.
  14. Ta :) You are the first channel I've subscribed to. Keep up the good work - really enjoying the vids!
  15. What Mig-21 ground units? In any event, the radar looks up only so will not pick up any ground units in normal flight.
  16. Cannot do that unfortunately. This is what you get dependent on backer's level: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=126712
  17. I am assuming you are referring to WWII? If so, in the WWII forum.
  18. There is no backers forum any more.
  19. Excellent skin for a trainer:
  20. The German Democratic Republic however had upwards of 400 operational Mig-21's.
  21. Yes. Personally would not bother, though. With it's engagement parameters you'll be hard-pressed to successfully engage anything moving relatively fast or manoeuvrable. Your best bet if you going hunting is either 8 R-60's or my personal favourite, 4 x R-60's and 2 x Gunpods: Can do a mighty fine-Hog-Roast with that :D
  22. :megalol: that's evil, the censored bits :D Article: Excellent as always :)
  23. And you think you're lucky? Really???? Think again: I know that this Dude was first in line and then some when luck was handed out.......Goodness knows how the rest of us mortals even got some - he hogged the entire stash! :megalol: https://uk.screen.yahoo.com/world-s-worst-drivers/motorcyclist-lucky-escape-145506068.html
  24. Aye, it's a beetle, already fixed in latest version.
  25. Radar will not track a ground target in level flight.
