  1. No, no need to lase: Drop-and-Forget - 0yWXLXR0Xdw
  2. Press and Hold the Weapons-Release button until JDAM drops. It means what it says in that you aborted the launch by not keeping the button depressed.
  3. Missed that completely: subconcious obviously dismissed it as irrelevant white-noise - could not get my gaze away from the Sukhoi lineup :D
  4. Yeah, you know what they say: Do things right the first time and you won't have to go back every so often and attempt to rectify the catastrophe's on the fly, so to speak :megalol:
  5. End-June at least.......There's still plenty to do by the sounds of it if you read the update.
  6. Yowzers! Danger-Close! That's one lucky dude. Just goes to show - in the greater scheme of things we're inconsequential. Now a cockroach, now he would have survived that with a few scratches and ringy ears :D
  7. I sniffled a wee bitty in the beginning when I realised there's no 73's on the Mig. By Gawd now I'm absolutely bawling buckets!!! Outstanding Gents
  8. Yeah these 'complaint/proposal' threads with the very same content flourish on a yearly/2-yearly cycle or thereabouts - regular as clockwork. Outcome seldom changes though - it's just participation that varies (new faces etc etc). As they say, if you want to predict the future all you need to do is look to the past.
  9. Yes, mentioned in post #13. Rather than heed the post, everyone shot for inducing carpal-tunnel in the shortest possible time-frame........typical :megalol: :D
  10. You need to substantiate your allegation :) Imperative to do so with ALL reports. Do we know that that is what happens in Russia as well? Is it not coded to accord with principles other than Western? I do not know, hence the necessity for corroboration/substantiation of all reports at time of reporting - aids greatly in investigation.
  11. Download all the files to desktop or wherever you store files and run the executable when you're done. Point it to your DCS folder if necessary.
  12. Welcome :) In the absence of a track I'd guess that it is the Angle of Attack caution light/warning you are getting.
  13. Yes. It just means that your aircraft attitude at launch is such that the missile cannot timeously intercept the laser grid/cube and start guiding to target. In the absence of said laser cube it goes ballistic and 'flies to ground'. Point is that it's not random at all - happens for the reason as aforesaid.
  14. User error. Post a track and we'll happily assist and inform you where you are erring. Wind is usually a factor but not always.
  15. Trust. As simple as that. It's humbling to sit where I am and actually appreciate the shitload of work and effort that goes on behind-the-scenes to stay on top of everything. Also just as unfortunate that others cannot, which would probably have saved us the effort of clawing our way to 12 pages and counting. Nothing more to say really, apart from yet again confirming that reporting bugs as requested really aids in troubleshooting and is appreciated: Definitely no Big Black Hole.
  16. If this entire debate was original then it would have been a different story. Fact is this argument crops up every year or two with the same submissions by different authors so don't worry, the community's suggestions are always heard.
  17. I don't think there is a safe landing speed - you're way too heavy, especially for such a small runway such as Gaduata.
  18. Truth be told, I have absolutely no idea. In-SIM however do all you can to get your weight down to below 36000 at least. Do yourself a favour and fly the exact mission you have there (very pretty I might add) with a third internal fuel only and see the difference in your landing.
  19. And who said that? Certainly not me, but I suppose that that is the inherent danger of the written word capable of being interpreted in a myriad of ways to suite one's particular agenda. Never mind, suffice to say that there's always room for improvement and said improvements are always made/are happening behind the scenes. What is important for you and all the rest to remember is that said improvements and implementation thereof are not going to happen on your say-so/at your behest/according to your timetable.
  20. 1 - Descent rate too high. 2 - You are much too heavy: Should not be landing with that weight - jettison stores, the taxpayer will pay. Just watch out for cows etc etc - farmers get irritated when they have to excise sidewinders and the like from their prize bulls. As an aid, see these vids courtesy of GG: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=123658
  21. Do what you have been asked to do: Report bugs, if you so choose, in the relevant provided for forums, sub-forums and let the mods/testers worry about the rest. ED have been doing this for 20 years already so yes, at this stage and for this particular set of circumstances it is the best that you will get because it is what works for ED. As I mentioned before, without the bigger picture it is very easy for me to see where all these 'arguments' for better access fail at the outset even though they make perfect sense for those arguing without the benefit of the 'bigger picture' (and no, I do not care to elaborate as this will no doubt further fuel a thread that has long ago outlived it's usefulness).
  22. If it is posted in the relevant forum/sub-forum then you can be sure that they know about it.
  23. Who's hiding what? There seems to be a misguided sense of entitlement that pervades many posts in this thread :D Edit: Yeah, Sith's right: This is beginning to get very silly indeed :megalol:
  24. Status: Bug fixes are ongoing. To demand status reports on said fixes over and above what is already provided for in the relevant dedicated forums/subforums is asking a wee bitty much. It's simple: Report the bug in the relevant forum and exercise the necessary patience while you wait for it to be fixed. No amount of secondary access to the internal bug database is going to speed up the process. If anything, it will hinder it - too many Indians etc etc.
