  1. Current Black Sea map, yes.
  2. That's what the Refleks is there for, to hit helo's from tanks, that is.
  3. Keep in mind that the 2 Operational Kamovs in the Chechen conflict had their own 'mini-AWACS' (Ka-29) flying with them, imperative for situational awareness, target hand-off/designation etc etc. They did not operate alone.
  4. What was your Ripple Interval set at? Ensure it's set to adequately cover the convoy length.
  5. This. I mean this with the appropriate amount of respect, but over here things move along at a LockOn/DCS pace, said pace unique in this our Hobby industry. Us Old Timers that have been around since LOMAC days understand and appreciate this phenomena and whilst it's sometimes difficult to swallow, we have made peace a loong time ago with ED-Time and co-exist peacefully. Some have yet to fully grasp and comprehend the concept of ED-Time. Others falter and fall by the wayside, usually accompanied by a fit of tantrums that follow them out the door, having failed to realise that all good things come to those who wait patiently. Best thing anybody can do is soak up the big picture, starting at 1995.
  6. Lockon has absolutely no DRM whatsoever and never had. Flaming Cliffs, not needed for FC3, has. In any event, as mentioned, no longer a prerequisite.
  7. To what standard? I would argue ATI as per my provided screenshots. Then again, this brings up the very issue I raised earlier as well: Smoke-effect is a specific line/s of code somewhere, yes? Said code therefore applies to all, irrespective of what particular vid card you have. If the specific code at present has two distinct results on two cards then how does one 'normalise' the effect? One install coded for NVidia and another for ATI? Surely that's never gonna happen. Is it not a card-driver issue? Or have I completely misunderstood the coding issue?
  8. Where's that? I just arrived in the Dark valley.
  9. I'm no budgie-pilot but you're coming in at 43000 pounds gross with a descent-rate of over 1000ft per minute till squat: You're guaranteed to buckle something like that I would have thought.
  10. Plan the Flight and Fly the Plan.
  11. If you Gentlemen are experiencing a delay on the support tickets you entered as a result of this issue then see the following thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=91440
  12. Further to the above vid, set your Propeller Control Lever to 2600RPM and leave it there for the descent, controlling your airspeed upon descent with the Throttle Control Handle. Once you're crossed the numbers, bring her to a stall, using the Rear Warning Radar Horn as a reference - when the underside is just about level with the horizon is where the ground usually is.
  13. Could you post a short track for us to have a look at - aids greatly in troubleshooting. Edit: Just saw you running 1.2.7. Herewith cockpit view of landing I recorded a good while ago: Should give you an idea of what's going on in the cockpit for a 3-pointer. t9yTD5wJy2g
  14. Yes, according to YOUR time-table: Newsflash M8 - your timetable, as with your argument, is irrelevant ;)
  15. No loss there I'm afraid: Life trundles on with or without your business :megalol:
  16. Bottom-Line is, things are moving forward in a direction intended by the development team, said goals to accomplish exactly that which we all want and what has been mentioned in this thread. Problem is that for some, said development is not happening quickly enough. Absolutely buggerall to be done for impatience, I'm afraid. We cannot have everything all at once. From 1995 to date and see what we've got. I'm willing to wait 20 years more, all the while knowing that we're moving forward: Slow and Steady wins this particular race.
  17. Also be sure to select 'CAS' or Ground Attack' and the like.
  18. To clarify: I do not need testing. All I need is to be constructively informed of potential specific issues. I'll test and report if/as necessary.
  19. Time for you to keep quiet and quit posting in this here thread: Your contributions to date are stupendously and ridiculously useless as evidenced from the above quote and does absolutely buggerall to aid in the 1.2.8. potential issue investigative process. To all others: Apart from the one issue I am guessing at (head-on smoke visibility only of ATI cards), can anybody else please inform me if there are any other issues that need investigating regarding smoke rendering, ATI and NVidia? I need specific specifics, not generalizations or general specifics, please.
  20. Now you know why they're called Missiles and not Hittles.........
  21. Yes, I added ATI for those that missed the 7970 reference earlier. Again, what's the issue? Argument was that ATI has an advantage. I said there is none.
  22. What problem? As seen from my screen shots above, I have no problem with ATI.
