Yes Shagrat, we all know that RAZBAM are serious guys, but sometimes the blueprints are incorrect or have missing item, like happened with the housing of the flir sensor. So, as potential buyers and users, we MUST put in evidence what we feel is wrong with model(possibly before the module is released...), providing pics or elements that can help the modellers to fix things if necessary;)

I think it's missing the protrusion that let the fan breath more through the blow-in doors: with the correct shape and dimensions we should see a litte more of the fan

Hanno siglato un contratto con la RAF per la fornitura di una piattaforma simulativa, non so quanto possa avere influito però si sa che i contratti governativi non portano quattro spiccioli... La cosa comunque era già nell'aria almeno da giugno, quando uscirono fuori le immagine del loro Virtual Reality Trainer su base P3D: tutti sulla loro pagina Facebook chiedevano il perché di questa scelta simulativa e di concentrare gli sforzi su DCS e questa fu la risposta lasciando intendere che le priorità sarebbero diventate altre

Le dimensioni sono corrette perché nel video in qualche frame si vedono bene le palette attraverso le blow-in doors delle prese d’aria. È invece cannata la conformazione interna della presa d’aria.

Ho visto il video, la turbina ha le dimensioni giuste, le famose gobbe (quali gobbe?:D) sono concave invece che convesse e sono più grandi del previsto, nascondendo alla vista le palette.

Purtroppo, allo stato attuale e con così pochi moduli per DCS, i terze parti bisogna tenerseli stretti anche se lavorano male, altrimenti ci vorranno altri 15-20 anni per avere un parco velivoli ragionevole. Certo, se dovessi stilare una classifica basata sulla meritocrazia, la VEAO sarebbe fuori scala, nel sottofondo...

I don't think they are moving so much to the South... but we can hope;) On the map posted Marneuli is very interesting, and I think will be included. In Turkey, the Kars airport is not of much interesting(civilian international airport), but at same laitude, more on the left, is present Merzifon, an active military airbase. In Armenia, Shirak and Erebuni are interesting...

Thanks for the help Strut, I have already customized the SPEC tex, but the main problem is how the skin reacts at the different options of the sim: deferred shading on, deferred shading off & HDR off, deferred shading off & HDR on, GAMMA slider... About deferred shading, do you know if the model of spitfire has been updated so far with the appearance of DCS 2.1 for the support of deferred shading and PBR textures?

I’m not saying you’re wrong, the switch will retract the mobile part of the LIDs, the strakes( or gunpods) are fixed. Sometimes in operational use some terms become standards and differs from what the designers and engineers have defined;)

I have an official cutaway of the harrier, what you call LIDS fence is the Lift Augmentation retractable cross-dam. LIDs are the assembly of the strakes and the retractable cross-dam
