  1. i found a workaround for the Ural 4320T, i created liveries via the model viewer and extracted all the necessary textures in the SPRING/SUMMER/AUTUMN/WINTER/DESERT folders...after that i edited their description files to pointed to the textures files in their folders (i made some updated textures and a personal version also)....It worked for the Ural 4320T in the model viewer and in DCS.....but for the Ural APA, it worked in the model viewer but not in DCS....still investigating.... As you can see, there are 2 different APA truck in the liverie section, but only one EDM file....i edited the ural-apa edm and it seems to work in the model viewer but the model loaded in DCS is the Ural-4320 APA-5D....but i don't know how to change the liveries of this one...
  2. almost indestructible AGM86D resolved with latest DCS patch.... ....But missiles are not avoiding ground and are crashing on terrain on the way towards the target...

Hi DEV, I found something last time i was creating mission in the mission editor, some truck lost their textures... the two truck that have lost their texture are the Ural 4320T and the Ural APA As you can see in the "Model Viewer" the EDM file does not point to all the textures needed, and for the "destroyed" model there are NO TEXTURE at all the texture ZIP file is in the DCS texture folder, so that's not the problem, maybe the EDM file is corrupt ?

  6. Tacview is for debriefing only, so if you want to stay in the simulating area, some informations from Tacview must be masked or ignored.
  7. Well that's promising, but just a little remark, how does she knows that the 2 contacts are "Fishbeds" ? Hostile or unknown due to IFF, ok, but the type of the aircraft, not at all.
  8. HI ED, i made a mission few weeks ago to test some air defense against incoming cruise missiles...put down a B52H equipped with AGM-86-C and AGM-86-D.....no problem until last DCS update. Air defense are still able to shoot down AGM-86-C but not the AGM-86-D.... Cruise missile are strike multiple times but no reaction, the cruise missile still continue flight toward his target....   9. take a look at the mod you downloaded, the "zip" structure, and extract the "F22A" folder in your "aircraft" folder And if the mod is correctly installed, you will have a logo in the bottom line of the main DCS screen with all the other official DCS aircraft...
  10. you will need to create a "mod" folder in your "saved Games/DCS" folder, and in this new mod folder, another two new folder named "tech" and "aircraft".....all flying mods (user or AI) will have to be installed in the "aircraft" folder, and all AI mods related to ship or ground vehicule will have to be installed in the "tech" folder
  11. You're right, i modified the two missile 9M332 and 9M338 from TOR launchers of the russian pack and they are working fine now....
  12. That's all we are talking about, the missiles logic / guidance is broken...due to the last DCS update...
  13. On my version of HDS (+S300Pack) only the SA22 Pantsir had some problem, all other assets are working well...

HI guys, I made some update to my version of HDS, now missiles are less likely to explode after launch, radar and missile's guidance are more looking like to what we know about those systems (OSINT), S-400 is now a real S-400 and not an S-300V4 or S-300VM with new vehicule design, added new liveries to S-400, S-300V4, S-300VM, S-300V and PANTSIR (all still work in progress and subject to changes).   16. Hi @LetMePickThat, no problem, real life first obviously. By the way, I made some update on your version of HDS, compatibility with last DCS version, merged with "S300Pack" mod and with new liveries (thanks to @Scoop). I'm still working on a real S-400 version (update from "S300Pack"), the original version had got almost the same capacity as the S-300VM or S-300V4.

HI, trying to destroy a SAM site alone, good luck. only way is 2 or 3 axis of attack with saturation and shooting all at the same time....possibly you can try to empty the SAM site while flying at the very low altitude and using terrain to break the lock and crash all the missiles, DCS's AI are sometimes so dumb so you can make it shoot at you all his missile using the same trick to avoid being shot down.
  18. Hi @SnakeEyes, you'll need another mod to get this assets, it's an add-on mod of HDS called "2SAP" or "SAM Sites Asset Pack". you can find it here: the name of the asset you are looking for is "ERO_S300_Reload".

HI @currenthill and @Ss500, There is already a mod with modernized version of BUK-M2, S-75, S-125, S-200, S-300 PS/V/VM/V4, and S-400 called High Digital Sam (HDS) from @LetMePickThat available on the DCS mod's forum. I know @LetMePickThat has not updated it since months, but i'm still trying my best to make it work with the latest DCS version and to make it match the real performance in regards to the OSINT informations we've got. About the S-500 there are still no accurate informations about it. @currenthill your work is very impressive, the 3D models are great, but i still have doubts about performances of anti air defence missiles, they outperforme most of the current ingame missiles, like the SM6. I've take a look at the lua files, and all the parameters available in it, and i think you have overpowered the "cruise" time, the maximum speed, the guidance system (the missile is already lock on you when fired from the ship , and disregards the ship's radar which cannot see you anymore because you're just flying behind a mountain...but the missile still continue is flight towards you and following your movement behind the mountain...) I've take a look at the data about that missile on Wiki, and all related articles....yes there are a lot of expectations about performances update, anti ship capacity,...but there are no real data, just expectations... It is your work, i'll respect it, I only made this remarks because i expect that those weapons made for DCS still remain "real".

Hi @WaffenCat first file is "grass_n_4.dds" located in "X:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Textures\buildings_sum.zip / buildings_aut.zip / buildings_win.zip / buildings_spr.zip second file is "FARPS land.dds" located in "D:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\TempTextures" for your information, some MODS are replacing the main DCS textures, so check your mods's textures folder first (DAMS.ZIP in this mod's texture folder contain FARPS land.dds).

  23. Hello @Zapon You're not at the correct topic, "2SAP" is only an addon to the "HDS" Mod which is what you are looking for, see below.
  24. It's very hard to identify the mod causing the issue, the DCS log is sometimes fishy, detecting lots of "WARNING EDCORE" or "ERROR" but mods are working fine... There is something that may be the issue you are looking for at this line : 2024-03-04 22:42:37.318 ALERT Dispatcher (Main): Error running db_scan: dublicate sensor :Sea Giraffe AMB surface I had got some problems with duplicate radar sensor between two mods that were the problem for me, you will have to find this radar (Sea Giraffe AMB surface) in a "file".lua in the "sensor" folder of the concerned mod. If it doesn't work, I will recomened first to remove the last mods added one by one.. if unsuccessful, try removing all mods and putting the mods one by one to identify the problem.....i know it may be very long (I have 120 mods installed....)
