Hi guys, I have a few problems with my VPC T-50 base. I tried to change the cam! But impossible! Yeah I know there is thread lock ( Why on earth is there thread lock on a part you know the user will want to take out ?! ) I heated the screw a lot with a heat gun. Then tried with my best screwdriver, but alas one of the screw starped to stip. SO I even took my soldering iron and heated the screw trough conduction ! Still impossible to remove the screw without damaging the head ! I don't understand why those screws are not torx head or hex head, it is so simple to design, if you need a screw to be put under a lot of torque the put a hex or torx srew, not a bloody philips ! And why on earth did they put threadlock on the one screw we want to take out, none of this makes sense. Now I will have to drill out the cam screw if I want to take them out ...

Hi guys, I have a question for the one that use encoders to control functions in DCS such as : HSI CRS/HDG. Radio volume, Altimeter QFE, lights level, and so on. For those function I always have trouble with the timer setting. what do you use ? what delay and switch ON+OFF or just on or OFF ? I tried several settings, but in game adjustment (HSI crs for instance) is either too slow, or is not smooth. Or continues to increment in one direction when I try to stop it by turning the other direction.

Hi all, I try to do the spring tension campaign. But it seems bugged. I fly to Tshinkavili WP1 were we see the FARP "Shpora", the co pilot instructs me to land there. I contact Shopra to say I am inbound, they answer.then I never have the "ask for landing ATC options" available. I land anyway, next to the Mi-28. But nothing happens. I tries to fly away to the next Wpt, but no commentary anymore :/ Did I do something wrong ?

You guys are ridiculous, no need to argue for this. We get it : each one of you has a preferred method of input, and believes that the other method is inferior. But really it doesn't matter, we each have our preferences and we are all still able to use the method we like. All I ask is : for ed to add the right click to both ( left and right) touch controller. Some people will use this, some won't, but it is one more possible input method. Yes, I have mapped the UFC to the keyboard numpad, with keys such as func and ltr on NUM* and NUM/. If you are used to type on a keypad it make ismt very easy to input stuff in UFC without looking Sent from my VTR-L09 using Tapatalk

Is it working how ??? Most of the time I look to switches but for some plane it is easier to use the touch controller that I have strapped to my right leg (ie: the switches at the back of the a10c left and right console) Using voice attack for a right click seems a bit silly. Hi guys, Thanks to this thread I manged to setup regular toggle switches without problems. However I have now a new challenge : I would like a button (so short press of a joystick button) to open the map when I click it once (F10) and then go back to F1 view when I click it the second time ? It is possible to do this by editing .lua ? I don't want to change the function of the button using autokey or something else. because it is also used to show the map in another sim. But in this other sim, map is open and closed by pressing the same button, and this otehr sim has much less customization of controls than DCS.

Hi guys, I am interested by the jetseat. But I have few questions : -the regular KW-908 is too wide for my seat, and woiuld be a relief for the joystick between the legs (the flight stick that is :lol:) -What are the dimension of the KW-901 ? Is it possible to cut a notch in it for the joystick ? -I saw there was a much more good looking "sim edition" version. is there any news on that version ? thanks !

I am an aeronautical engineering. And I find most of your statement lack any rigorous analysis and are just anecdotal in nature. You make no quantitative assessment, you just to conclusions with very little analysis of the physics of the problem. ( However, I don't say that all your conclusion are wrong).
