  1. Nice!
  2. Yah, the "cockpit panel view toggle" doesn't work for me anymore. Not sure why. Anyway, I use VoiceAttack to hold my snap views. Works great. Cheers.
  3. Rudel chw, how do you "hold" your snapviews?
  4. If you use VoiceAttack, you can reduce the duration of the key press.
  5. DCS always “appears” that it running in Full Screen mode, but it is actually in borderless windowed mode. LAlt-Enter puts it in true FS mode, the performance benefit of which seems to vary tween users, and is at least debatable. To make matters worse, I’m not aware of any “indicator” telling you which mode you’re in.
  6. Here ya go; https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=193143&page=2 Post # 13.
  7. I've put together a slick little Voiceattack profile which is a Time to Target Calculator. For example; you Say "16 Nautical Miles AT 300 KPH" . You will then hear "5.93 Minutes" . Kilometers, Nautical Miles, KPH, and Knots can be co-mingled ad lib in increments of 1 to infinity potentially. A Timer is included. You Say; "Give Me [X] Minutes" . You will then hear an acknowledgement, and eventually another notice when time is up. An optional Sound file is included which adds a high pitched tone when time is up. Test it out. Let me know. UPDATE: Profile has been revised (11/21) so that the timer can be used without the sound file if desired. Time to Target Calculator ReadMe.txt Chics Time to Target Calculator-Profile.zip
  8. THANK YOU!
  9. It should create itself, assuming you've run the game at least once, and particularly if you've tried to make changes ie a snap view. In any event, changing name of the "SnapViewsDefault.lua" to "SnapViews.lua" in Saved Games should do it.
  10. Where is MSI mode selected please?
  11. Resolved. My Camera Move mappings (whch I have remapped) somehow reverted back to default settings. So I assumed that Camera move option was not available in VR. Cheers Gizz.
  12. Understood. BUT I still cannot generate the snap view in VR, despite having no issues in 2D, and using the same procedure that others (Six) are having success with in VR.
  13. I'm an avid user of snap views in 2D. Recently, I have been dabbling with Oculus Rift but can't get the snap views to work. The Snap view will shift the image a bit but no where near the intended view. Any thoughts?
  14. Match screen resolution with game resolution?
  15. A "Switch" in DCS is a variant of a "Modifier". Basically a key input which, when used will change the function of a button or encoder input. So, 3 different Switches allows for 3 different functions for the same button. And yes, those rotary knobs are not axes. Each click of the knob while rotating will elicit the same button input.
  16. Just sayin. Kudos to f410 for one of the most contributory and best serviced site in DCSdom.
  17. I use one of these. Very versatile, particularly if you're familiar with the use of DCS "switches". For example, with those six rotary encoders, I can manage every radio in the Huey and Mi8. Good investment for me.
  18. I typically adjust the snapviews.lua default manually by trial and error. Didn't know bout the R Alt - Numpad Enter deal. Cheers.
  19. Will you see a change in the Snapviews.lua using the RAlt + Numpad Enter technique? [13] = {--default view viewAngle = 75.000000,--FOV hAngle = 0.000000, vAngle = -23.000000, x_trans = 0.360000, y_trans = -0.041337, z_trans = 0.000000, rollAngle = 0.000000,
  20. For what it's worth, I upgraded from a 55" flat screen to the 65" curved. My eyes 22' from screen. The peripheral imaging is actually better with the latter. I attribute that to the curve.
  21. Can the Tracking Camera be mounted on a fixed location as opposed to the headset? (I run 2D mostly)
  22. Make sure you have weapons loaded out. It happens.
  23. VoiceAttack allows you to as many key functions as you want to a single button/switch.
