Go into the “Adjust Controls” page and run the the commands in question to check your key mappings. EDIT: Missed that you’re in gunsight mode. See rge75 post.

With VoiceAttack you can program a button or switch to hold a key press. Key is released with another push of the button.

The throttle stop works through an electrical solenoid. It won’t work if cockpit is not powered. Maybe that was your issue. Also, if your throttle is mapped to an axis, it won’t work past the throttle detent. You need “Page Down” to bottom it out.

Not crazy. That scenario has been reported. I’ve experienced it randomly in multiplayer but never really did any troubleshooting.

Well put. I owned both Oculus and a 4K 65” curved monitor and used them interchangeably for a year. Based on this thread, I’m not sure if this puts me at more or less risk of remorse. Anyway, I recently replaced my 4K screen with another, and put my Rift on eBay. I’m not endorsing either setup as I cannot possibly know what others may prefer, much less judge them for their preference. That would be mindless.

Thanks for that MilesD. I’m assuming that if my IR TrackIR unit is fixed to my headset, then I can attach your hmd specific unit to my headset as well and calibrate as you described. Am I wrong?

In VoiceAttack, the {DICTATION} token has options to create a new line after each phrase, capitalize first word of new phrase, add period or insert predetermined number of spaces between phrases, and make all characters upper or lower case. The profile, as is, already makes an new line between phrases. Keep in mind that he VA speech to text functionality is rather rudimentary and not suited for precision. It works well enough with ScratchPad cuz, after all, it's a just a scratchpad.

Some of my buds had same prob. As Wrl11 mentioned above, Process Lasso works well to manage CPU and stop recurrent defaulting to CPU0

ScratchPad probably not in focus. Make sure it is exact middle of your screen. Oversize it while you’re troubleshooting. If that turns out to be the problem, and you would prefer the ScratchPad in a different spot, that can be accomplished with simple tweak of profile. Let me know, here or PM.

That’s a good point Avantar. Consider though, we already use Window keys as modifiers in DCS. Doesn’t seem to be an issue while game is active window. I’ll leave it to your judgement. Thanks again.

Yah, I went from 55" straight to 65" curved and believe the curve does make a worthwhile difference. Havin said that, I suspect that with 55" at 3 feet, the curve effect is less dramatic. Furthermore, the only time you're focused on the far corners is when you're second guessing yourself. QUIT IT!!!
