  1. Love the technical updates, thanks!
  2. Occording to their Discord they are working on it, as far as I remember. They just got the tools to update their other products very late and I guess are hurrying to get them into the new sim version.
  3. Have the Su-25a, would pay again for full fidelity one.
  4. Also looking forward to the news.
  5. Been a while since I played the Apache, but I remember not having the cockpit display option to refresh every frame made the night vision on the IHADSS lag or jitter or something. But I remember the symbology still being nervous in VR.
  6. Somewhat offtopic, but since some doubted the flight model and that a transport helicopter can be very agile. I am no expert about helicopters. But here is a video of people testing a CH-53 with rolls and loops
  7. Maybe someone can please help me with this thought. I thought about the canopies of fighter cockpits. I imagine when the canopies are open to get in or out rain water with wind or salt water spray on aircraft carriers can get onto the instruments. Are these instruments generally water tight, to prevent problems with electrics etc.? So far I only found info on the web about problems with spilled coffees and failing instruments in general aviation. I'd imagine a Boeing/Airbus tanker cockpit being the same as the civilian counterpart. But what about fighters like F-18 or helicopters like AH-64?
  8. I think the Apache and Hind have working wipers. But I don't know if they are bugged at the moment. Somebody said wipers are not working yet on the Chinook.
  10. All the talk about tandem rotor flight characteristics got me interested in trying it out. Indeed, without the stabilization it seems almost impossible to handle it. I wonder how pilots managed the first tandem helicopters. With stabilization on it is a bit on rails, but currently there are still interesting characteristics present. I wonder how much will change with the rest of the control systems implemented, and if we will be able to turn them off selectively. We will see. Hats off to ED for doing the barebones flightmodels too on their aircraft, not only the stabilized ones. I like that.
  11. No air to air refueling, Wags mentioned in the youtube comment of the recent take off video that only the MH-47 Chinook has that. And hinted at wanting to correct the misleading store page info.
  12. Oh yes, there is some info I missed, like these Which confirm that it will be very easy and stable with the AFCS on. But I wonder why it will be very difficult to fly with AFCS off compared to conventional helicopters.
  13. I enjoy the Huey, Hind, Hip and Apache we got for their "quirks and challenges" in flight dynamics. I believe the Chinook flies pretty fast, flies well sideways and backwards. But I guess there is no weather cock effect with wind from the side in a hover, no challenge with pedal input in general. I somewhat fear with the automated control system adding to the tandem design it might be super stable, maybe more stable than the Ka-50. Does anybody know any interesting or challenging flight dynamics to expect from the Chinook?
  14. Flugwerft Schleißheim north of Munich has a cut-off Fiat G.91 cockpit to sit in. And many great planes to look at. If already in Munich, make sure to also visit the Deutsches Museum, lots of planes and stuff there.
  15. But you are right anyway that I should be more exact. I meant something that provides images, like visual or IR that you could look at after the flight and share on some multiplayer discord server.
  16. That is why I wrote 'a'. But I believe the smiley indicates your sentence was meant as a joke. Sorry if I didn't clearly get the joke, people can be aggressive on these forums. Upvoted for providing info on possible recce pods. Thanks! More stuff to read about.
  17. With the TARPS pod for the F-14 and it possibly working in the future, I wish we will also get a reconnaissance pod for the Phantom at some point.
  18. I've read that tankers pulled damaged aircraft in some cases with the boom. At least a Phantom was pulled once. Also there is a release switch on some aircraft so the boom seems to attach mechanically. Speaking for such a feature.
