  1. For me the toggle works when going from off to idle, but not when going from idle to off. Maybe my throttle axes are not close enough to zero to switch to off, didn't investigate further and just started using the off shortcut instead.
  2. +1 with taking range into account. The more info the closer you are. something like this could be helpful Vehicle APC BTR Friendly BTR Currently as pilot it is pretty difficult to hover and scan the TADS video feed to make out targets. Especially with George exiting Zoom when displaying the target list.
  3. Nice, looking forward to the F1 EE which I think comes with air-to-air refueling and hopefully better ground attack capability than the F-5E.

  5. Es gibt mehrere Feature Requests dazu https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/261798-metricimperial-toggle-switch-for-f10-mapmission-editor/ https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/288545-unit-conversion
  6. As far as I know there is an indication in the pilot's IHADSS of where the CPG is currently facing in the real Apache. For single player pilots it would be nice to have George AI CPG look around in a random fashion just to mimic scanning the surroundings for more immersion. So we can see his head and the indication in the IHADSS move. This wandering of gaze really adds to the Jester AI of the Tomcat and makes it appear more human. Would be nice even if it was only cosmetic with George. Not sure how it would be done. Maybe just let his head randomly wander when he is not looking through the TADS - looking around like the Mi-8 crew - as long as the Apache pilot's master arm is off or so.
  7. +1 for ability to change between nautical miles/kilometers in F10 ruler while in multiplayer game. Menu option or keyboard shortcut would be nice. Also changing the F10 coordinates format could be allowed by intuitively clicking on it.

  9. Sure , I have a pretty strong accent in my native tongue myself. Sorry, I meant an accent that risks reducing him to only that. Similar to what @Rosebud47 explained. Actually if that accent is perceived as negative or positive depends on many things. Some might think it reduces him others might think it gives him more character. Some thoughts I am no native English speaker. But I can understand English and listening to it feels natural and "neutral" to me. If he is speaking Russian and I could understand Russian this would feel natural to me and be neutral. If he is speaking English but with a strong accent it would add something. If this something is perceived as negative or positive depends on many things. But it is not something that is required. It would not be "neutral" anymore. As someone who can not understand Russian the English translation would make me feel like I could actually speak Russian and understand Petrovich. Giving him that accent would take away from that experience because then I would recognize that it is just English that we speak and he has a strong accent. As someone who can understand English I might at other times imagine flying with a crew from a non-Russian speaking country. If he had that strong accent, it would take away from that experience again. Because it would not be neutral and my co-pilot from country X would suddenly have a Russian-English-X accent. Which would make no sense unless the co-pilot was not originally from country X. Which is nothing negative. But it changes the experience. I think it would be better to have a neutral English translation so people that can't understand the Russian voices but can understand English have all these options available to them. Offtopic: It might be nice to have the option to select the voice over language separately from other language settings. Sometimes it is annoying that I can't understand the Russian speaking ground crew just because I am in a Russian faction slot on a multiplayer server. It is already nice to have the option to change the cockpit texts.
  10. I am looking forward to the voice acting. But please don't give him an accent.
  11. Yes, totally my fault, thanks for clearing it up. Indeed. Thanks. I renamed the topic to this more appropriate name.
  12. Nice, the effect is modelled for cannon and rocket fire! Maybe some of the moderators can mark this topic as officially done. The most important ones of the wishlist items have been implemented.
  13. I am not sure which one you meant to be lighter. But I find it interesting to note that according to the Ka-50 manual and Wikipedia the Ka-50 is heavier than the AH-64. Which is something I did not expect myself. Ka-50 Empty 7,700 kg (16,976 lb) Max takeoff 10,800 kg (23,810 lb) https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/upload/iblock/dfc/DCS BS2 Flight Manual EN.pdf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamov_Ka-50#Specifications_(Ka-50) AH-64 Empty 5,165 kg (11,387 lb) Max takeoff 10,433 kg (23,000 lb) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_AH-64_Apache#Specifications_(AH-64A/D)
  14. Yaw AP off, removed the springs from CH Pro Pedals.
  15. According to only the CPG can control the laser for buddy lasing. Hence I wish for the ability of the pilot to command the George AI gunner to lase a target for buddy lasing to change laser code for buddy lasing (if that is something the pilot also can not do) I like support roles and would like to buddy lase targets in multiplayer servers while flying the AH-64 alone.
  16. Can the pilot lock and lase targets? If not I hope the George AI will be able to lase targets without engaging them. So we can lase targets in multiplayer servers with only one player in the helicopter
  17. I hope we will be able to do it in the rearming menu so we can do it in multiplayer servers.
  18. If in doubt make sure you don't enable the yaw autopilot channel before takeoff. It sometimes goes crazy for me and killed me several times. I believe it has something to do with how ED implemented it for all of us who don't have the touch switch on their pedals as the real aircraft does. So if the aircraft starts to turn rapidly into one direction and out of control check if the yaw channel is on. If you survived long enough you can disable it and switch it back on. I think that resets the centering. But for me the safest way is to always leave it off. I began to always fly with yaw autopilot channel off and everything is fine and smooth as butter since I did that. I never had problems with these though.
