  1. Should at a minimum be an option the mission maker can just turn on and off imo.
  2. Hind, A10C-2, a couple of maps (including the free one we haven't seen anything about for months), BS3, P47, Mosquito, Assets pack for WWII, F16, F18, MAC, VOIP, an unannounced module, and of course a slew of core improvements. The list is already yuuuuge of stuff not just in EA but will be at some point as well, so yeah probs what you said.
  3. If no value is set it auto defaults to a value set somewhere else. For the 120's i'm not quite sure what it is but it is low.
  4. https://gitlab.com/Nighthawk2174/nhawk---weapons-mod-public-release Hotfix For the Missile mod V1.4 Updated mod to work with latest version of the Open Beta
  5. Ok I'll look into it thanks for the report.
  6. Thanks for the vid hopefully with all the posts here recently this issue will get some traction and be fixed asap.
  7. Even in my original post chaff was not used. It isn't the cause.
  8. Interesting that ED's own manual gives at least the proper values for the maximum allowed dispersion before tear down: Maybe a fix for the Vulcan is in our near future?
  9. Hasn't this been a long known and standing issue?
  10. Yes the monopulse seeker was apparently incompatible with the CW or CWD signals used by US aircraft.
  11. Just wanted to add that CW stopped being a thing on US jets in the 70's except for a few exception ANG F16's for example. The reason was that the AIM-7M can't home in on CW it only homes in on PD signals.
  12. https://gitlab.com/Nighthawk2174/nhawk---weapons-mod-public-release Missile Mod has been updated ---------------Guns---------- -Adjusted the names of some round when in game hit is displayed -Adjusted performance of MK149 round learned its a heavier round with significantly improved performance over the M56 series. I'm working on getting figuring out a drag curve/weight for the round to update it further. For now i've given it the PGU drag as they are very similar in shape and an increased weight for the DU/Tungsten perpetrator. -Adjusted the size of some tracers to make them appear less like lasers ---------------MISSILES---------- AGM-88 HARM - Added new ED drag curve 5V55R (SA-10B) - gave new smoother loft - tweaked turning performance slightly - Adjusted chaff resistances MIM-104 Pac 2 (Patriot) - New smoother loft - Adjusted performance, is slower in general - Adjusted chaff resistances -Adjusted CCM of several missiles full git changelog https://gitlab.com/Nighthawk2174/nhawk---weapons-mod-public-release/-/commit/85055e4c74306f90866a653d93eaadb9dbac33fa
  13. Could be I think that this is a pretty logical possibility. Just to add to it though I often notice it even when in level flight. Just in the BVR instant action it seems to happen quite often that once I go level and fire it will occur some time durng the 54's flyout time then sometimes it doesn't happen at all.
  14. No i've made sure to mention this fact and their agreement was based on this knowledge at least for the three I have talked too and know quite well the other two i've only seen them say it on various forums such as discord and the forums.
  15. Me and a buddy were fighting the other day and the amount of times we both were almost killed by wake turbulence knocking out of the sky outnumbered the actually amount of kills by many many many times. In the end we just had to turn it off because of the amount of times it essentially ended the fight either by killing the other person or by rolling them almost completely upside down. This behavior seems a bit absurd the amount it rocks your plane. I'd expect it if it was something like an airliners wake I flew into not another F18's especially when were only at 330kts. And when compared to HB's own in house wake turbulence its night and day, yes the F14's a bigger jet but we've never had this happen to use in the F14. Has this been noted as I did a quick search and found mention of this in an F16 thread but it seems it extends beyond that jet (even though it is worse in the F16)
  16. It's boost-sustain.
  17. Well Habu is a current a10 pilot and he's told me this on several occasions and I have another friend who's flying rhinos who's also said the exact same thing.
  18. Yeah i'm not sure about this, it does seem reasonable you shouldn't get a launch warning (unless modern R ) but i'm not expert by any means oncesoever. Maybe try PM'ing BeamScanner and see what he says? He is far more knoledgeable on this than I am.
  19. Agreed i've never heard of the N003 as being a PD in our traditional sense of it, as in it directly measuring doppler I've always seen it referenced as a pulse radar. Hence why i'm in favor of what is described on the secret forums site that its really just a matter of different terms that's getting everything confused as per normal with Russian equipment.
  20. AEGIS isn't properly modeled. The SM2's only need SARH guidance for the terminal phase of flight. So iirc, how it should work is the system will automatically detect, assign, and target every detected target and share this with all the other ships in the group over datalink. For each target the ship will launch 2 SM2's and will guide them via midcourse updates (like with an amraam) via the main radar until terminal. Then the ships TR's will illuminate the target. With this though the ship can launch on more targets then just four. While the first sets are outbound you can launch multiple additional sets. So long as it sets up the launches far enough apart that each missile can get time with the TR for its final terminal guidance. Of course as missiles get closer other systems will be used as well such as ESSM which the more modern versions of are active and those that arn't I think operates on the same principle but i'd need to check when I got time.
  21. Especially the not so common ones like the AA9 and AA7.
  22. Its more that lofting got fixed the speed hasn't really changed that much. And that a lot of people were informed by GS's vid where he used the new lofting and 50k + drag bug that's been in the game for years to get long ranges. I've been using this tactic (high and fast for the 50k + drag reduction) for years its just now its much more lethal due to the new loft.
  23. Well I went in an made sure that the AI couldn't jam and it was still happening besides iirc this is not what jamming looked like in the manual. + jamming effects on the radar aren't even modeled yet.
  24. Agreed it seems to be quite random, from my very limited testing it seems to happen most often after you have fired a phoenix in TWS. I really need to do a lot of testing though.
