  1. i also get this Error during payment. Now i have the ORder as "awaiting Payment" in my list. can i somehow pay for this afterwards or do i have to cancel? When i cancel will i get my Miles back?

  3. So what you basically say is to make the wake turbulence weaker caused by the fighter jets not the turbulence as a whole? In this regard im on your Boat. I never flew a Jet in RL so i can only do some guesses here. But if you think a little bit about it, it makes sense to have lower turbulences at least when you are close enough. One thought is to not make it not exactly weaker but increase them if a bit further behind. From what ive learned in school those wakes are starting small and then increase in size. So at the point they grew to a certain size they should affect you and in reverse if they are too small you will not recognize them even if they are there technically. But no clue how the Wing load affects this. So from my understanding the Wing load (Bombs, Fueltanks, Missiles or whatever you have) would create its own turbulences which are way smaller obviously but do the affect the turbulence caused by the plane itself?
  4. Wouldnt say its too strong, maybe should get stronger in some occasions. I wouldnt reference Guys like the Thunderbirds or that Alpha Jet Demo Team Dealing with Waketurbulences. Just because some highly trained Pilot hasnt musch of a Problem dealing with the Turbulences doesnt mean they arent there or they are weaker. That just means he or she knows what hes doing, you cant see the Control Input involved to keep that flight so smooth. I can tell from my experienc that the Tower ordered me to wait for up to 3 Minutes before i was allowed to take off because an Airliner took off before me sitting in my small GA Plane otherwise i would have crashed simply without much of a chance. I also experienced the turbulences when i was towed by a Sportsplane sitting in a Glider, if you get into the turbulences you really know it and you have to act. you couldnt see that i had some issues there, but i had to do massive control inputs to keep the flight smooth and safe.. I also read some report from German Authorities where a Plane simply crashed at a local Airshow just because there was a AN-2 a few minutes before. So if the Plane causing them is bigger and you are sitting in a smaller plane the turbulences can turn you upside down in a heart beat. Also caused by a smaller plane you have to account for them especially when you are close. So i wouldnt call them too strong, they have potential to disturb us more than they do now.
  5. Yeah im also searching for an solution to this. I have some other commands to enable Laser Arm and Refuel Probe Switch beeing controlled by some switches on the Warthog but the problem is the same. Redo it on every Update even if there is no Change in the default.lua at all. Im using Winmerge to add my lines again. On the positive side i will see it first hand if there are new commands available. But some more Generic approach would be nice. But thats a General Problem or better, Feature Request for DCS World and not F-16 specific. So i suggest moving this Thread to the related Area in the Forums.
  6. Yes i do complain that the Changelog is not complete, especially in terms of optimizing Flight Model and related stuff. While i understand that much of the stuff isnt of great interest for everybody it should be in their own interest to talk about good stuff.... And yes i read about the Update last time but i was asking about this Update. Last time i couldnt experience much of an improvement in terms of landing or take off behavior. I may be wrong on this because its subjective since i didnt do exactly extensive testing but i experienced way less bouncing since this update.
  7. Is it just me or is the landing behavior (especially in crosswind) a little bit optimized since last patch? I tried my crosswind Testmissions which i try after every update and this time its much easier to keep the plane under control. I wouldnt call it perfectly fine but at least a bit better. I hate it that ED doesnt write a single line about updates on flight models or something alike in the Changelog. They should take a look at Paradox Interactive, especially the current one for Crusader Kings III. THATS a Changelog.
  8. Okay.... so GPU is idle and CPU is almost always at maximum... Its time that ED shows us that they actually spend development time in improving VR experience. e.g. multi threading, Vulcan and other stuff. Hardware can do only so much.

  10. When i try to fire a 65D in PRE but lock on the Target while not in Range the Handoff will not complete even when im in Range later on. Then when i unlock the Target and lock it again, this or another Target i never get a Handoff completet again and basically cant use PRE Mode anymore. Do i have to do something special for this to work or did i encounter an Bug? Handoff is Set to Auto in TGP.
  11. - Set up your Frequencies (TACAN and ILS - Set up your Heading in the same DED Page - Turn On Tacan (right hand side, next to the Knob where you change between Stored Heading and so on) - Check if ILS and TACAN Sound is turned on (Knobs next to the Throttle) - Turn HSI in ILS/Tacan Or ILS/Nav Mode. (both workis. No ATC needed, ILS is always on. I would suggest testing it in Batumi. Its one of the Basic Airports and i can guarantee you that the ILS on RWY 12 works. (Set Course 119)

  13. To me the question is if there is a real difference in DCS VR between the 3080 an 90. Im planning on a Upgrade, since i currently have a GTX 1070 both cards are a huge step forward anyways. Not just the GPU thats gonna be a complete system. But there has to be a good impact on VR Performance for me to spend 700€ extra on the Card. Currently i thought about the 3080 and spend those 700 to get an Reverb G2.
  14. while its not hard to do them on your own, its a bit of a pain to restore them after every update since the file gets overwritten even if there is no change. +1

Is the first post still accurate in terms of whats WIP and whats finished? just wondering, its been a few weeks since the survey and the updated Roadmap and the Flight Model was clearly on position one but the WIP Flags are spreaded out and, according to that list, nobody works on the FM. Not meant to be offending, just curious.
  16. In VFR Flight the hardest thing is to actual spot the Airfield (in RL that is). But i have to admit its a little bit too tricky to find them currently even if you exactly know where they are.

  18. Hey, i just reviewed the Viper Roadmap again and im curios. The Viper should have some ECM capabilities i think. A Jammer basically. I dont think its integrated in this Block but there should be at least a jammer pod. But i havent read anything about that topic anywhere. Did i miss something here?
  19. Hey Guys, i just installed Eclipse LDT and tried to get Intellisense for some Moose Test Missions. But it wont work. Seems like the Description from here doesnt work anymore: https://flightcontrol-master.github.io/MOOSE_DOCS/Moose_Setup_Guide.html Looks like the Problem is somewhere in the provided download for the Moose Source, because there is nothing in it which does anything with the project you have to create. For that reason there is no IntelliSense.... forget it.... i didnt change the Moose Directory as a Source Directory

  21. Hi, im trying to populate the Map a littel bit and get some Traffic on the Airport. My Plan was to generate a Group of a few Aircraft, give them some Route and after a period of time i want to spawn a duplicate of that Group (including Waypoints). That way i should be able to populate that Base a bit and get a more or less steady stream of starting and landing Aircraft. I know how to set Triggers and repeat them, but i havent found a way to duplicate a Group (or duplicate anything). Is this possible and when its possible please lead me to the direction where i can find the infos about it.
  22. Not too far for a Cluster Bomb. I was talking about an convoi, i will not be able to Hit a specific car but i will be able to hit the convoi. You should also consider to get a bit lower if the Bomb needs 30 Seconds.... Anyways its a workaround for sure, real tracking would be better. Which will come somewhat later.
  23. What he tries to say is that currently you have not enough Rudder Authority to keep the Plane stable. Except if you are very fast as Dee-Jay has confirmed. Which i can confirm also. The Gs are not the Problem in that case. Well this Plane has a long way to go until its finished, so developing an Hind seems to be a good idea now. What can go possibly wrong if you distribute the Devs even more? Otherwise we would be in Danger that the F-16 or F-18 gets completet which is something we should strictly avoid as it seems..... :mad:
  24. I assume Ramat David is just not complete atm in that regards. And probably all the others too, just flown from there and the Area around so far. There is more information missing, for example the Airbase has 4 Runways but you can only see the Details of one Runway in F10 Map. So maybe we will get more stuff, at least some ILS in the future
