After few flights I quit flying in BS; the game is a good simulation, but after you've killed 100 tanks, 50 shilka, 10 tunguska; there's nothing left to do to than a touristic trip and trying to land on ships, roofs etc... The lifetime of the game is quite short as the Player versus Player missions can't be very interresting. The main problem is when you use the Vikhr, you're always out of the range of any ground unit. So if your patient, and move slowly, you almost can never die.

Why don't you just go back to base to rearm ? Make DCS become a FPS game makes me laught anyway, but would be non-sense.

When you're inside the cockpit, look at the panel on top of the pilot's right shoulder, also, look on the upper panel on the top of the HUD, you will see some buttons that you can't activate at all. It's maybe not very usefull buttons, but I allows me to say that the shark is not 100% functionnal in the game, which disappoint me a little bit :(

I just wish the A-10 will be 100% functionnal, not like the BS, where you had some buttons "not working"....:(

Sorry for adding a question to this thread, but does all these new skin mean the patch will also allow KA50 to be flyable with all these countries ?

The Core 2 Duo E6850 is supposed to work @3Ghz, so first make sure you make it run at the "normal" speed you will have some more FPS. Refer to the manual of your motherboard for the settings.

When I make games movies, I make capture from fraps in 1280*1024, edit with Vegas, then I generate the final movie in 1280*1024 without any compression (so I generally have a very big file) then I compress with "Windows Media Encoder" which is very good compression and quality ratio. Choose settings to the best quality and encode the file. You don't need to worry about lots of settings, it just makes the job and your movie is fine !

Good question, and in addition is there a big map we could download to have all the terrain in BS? Bon bah je testerai d'installer ce "fmod" pour voir si ca corrige aussi mon problème: Quand je quitte une mission, j'ai le jeu qui plante avec une erreur visual c++ (uniquement sur les missions ou il y a eu beaucoup d'evenements, comme quoi c'est bien un probleme de track) J'avais la version Russe DVD et maintenant la version DL Anglaise et le pb persiste... faut voir... (J'ai deja essayé de réinstaller les framework, sans succès)

Take the time you need, I think most people here prefer to wait a little bit, instead of having incorrect information in the game, just because this game is called a "simulator" and so it is supposed to be as close as possible as the reality :smilewink:

I think this mission is the next one I have to do as in the briefing it's written that the mission lasts one hour... so I can't help you much! But what if you go ahead and try to see if you get killed, or not ? Maybe SAMs are dead but the trigger is not working...:smilewink:

Si ca se trouve ils vont modifier le principe de l'activation du jeu pour la version francaise pour qu'on puisse l'activer avec le cd US dans le lecteur. Du coup ils vont faire telecharger les fichiers d'installation FR et starforce reconnaitra le cd US. Du coup plus de problèmes, mais effectivement ca necessite qu'ils soient sur que ca marche...!

S'ils retrouvent le mec responsable de tester le cd, il va morfler le pauvre :megalol:

Hi ED/DCS Team, I just found another situation that shouldn't happen in the game: I made a mission with Elnya Tanker, and when I landed on it I managed to rearm and change my payload. This is not the most weird, the Elnya was not in the same coalition as me (I was blue Russian, and it was Red Georgian).
