  2. Ciribob - Wanted to circle back with you as I know that you and I had quite a bit of back and forth on your Discord trying to get my SRS set up (recall that I was having issues with the Preview Audio function not working, despite eventually learning that my SRS TX/RX functioned properly in normal use). During troubleshooting of another mod for DCS (VAICOMPRO), I couldn't get the "Chatter" add-in to work although Windows showed it as playing audio. So on a whim I decided to uninstall the Soundblaster Z audio software to see if that would fix my issue. Sure enough that fixed the problem I had with that mod, and fixed the issue you and I could never solve. I wanted to thank you again for all of your help and pass this bit of info along, in case it came up again with another user. Might be useful for your playbook. Cheers!
  3. One last follow up question, can I order the MCG Pro without any labels at all? Labels on either this of the TECS might be a deal breaker for me...I hate labels.
  4. Does anyone have a measurement from top to bottom of the Gunfighter Pro base with the extension and a MCG mounted?
  5. Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System You're aware that UIV posted the image of the SETS in this thread, correct? Two posts down from where he showed the front of the throttle. See post #65. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That looks great, dude! Jabara's stories on some documentaries I've seen are some of the primary reasons I love the Sabre. Thank you for posting.
  7. Comes with the territory on carrier ops...inherently a paramount will be placed on AAR  I love it! Same can be done currently with taking off from the carrier on the Tarawa in the Harrier.
  8. Yes! The Harrier is the only plane, to my knowledge, that does this correctly
  9. Ah, I guess I am just assuming one of the side buttons is a 3-way (Pos 1- OFF - Pos 2) whereas you're not. Got it.
  10. Understood that the speed brake might be a little different as you described previously -- according to the NATOPS there is extend/off/retract, so we could at least mirror it in a simple fashion, perhaps the Config software could allow us to partially extend it if we tap it, or to fully extended if we hold for 1+ second. What am I missing? I still don't see the 3-way that was referenced. Obviously TBD on if there is a pinky switch on the outside or not.
  11. What 3-way toggle? There is what appears to be an analog stick/4-way + push where the Hornet has it's 3-way CM Dispense switch...so 2 more press options, meaning this could then be used for the Radio Mic switch like the Warthog. It then has two additional 2 (maybe more?) way switches, one for the speed brake and one for whatever (in the Hornet this is the 2-way radio switch). It has a cage/uncage button in nearly the same spot as the Hornet, and then it has an extra button. So, not sure what 3-way (or more?) you see missing. On the front the Hornet has a TDC slew, 2 buttons, and a wheel. This has 2 buttons, a TDC slew (assuming this is a ministick), and an antenna elevation wheel. In other words, it has the exact same things. The rotary is there. Maybe I am missing something? But I am looking side by side with the NATOPS manual...
  12. When I was looking at this I was assuming that both the index finger and thumb hats acted (or could at least optionally act) as analog sticks/TDC slews; is that not the case? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Oh, I guess I'm not sure why the question would even be asked then...what else would they be for? Apologies for the confusion, anyway... Speed brake switch matches that of the Hornet quite well (not the Warthog style), and the amount of buttons available on the throttle itself is 1:1, with the exception of maybe missing the toggle on the left/outside of the throttle. Again, I don't see anything to complain about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System Antenna Elevation Control in the real jets, but could be mapped to zoom for DCS (if desired) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System If those mini sticks click down (in) too, this is literally the PERFECT throttle design. Swap a couple of the base buttons for 3 way switches and I don't think anyone could find a way to complain about anything. Finger lifts for AB. You have to lift them to pass the gate into AB. All jets do it a little differently (push through, finger lifts to get over into AB and/or idle, push left and then up, etc and some react differently when there is weight on the wheels vs airborne)...but these look like classic finger lifts [emoji1303] The Hornet does it a really weird way, but for this throttle it appears to have both throttle cut offs on the palm side and finger lifts for AB on the finger side. 16. Yeah, but I use a Wheel Stand Pro so the BRD-N is a no go for me.
  17. The wheel is visible in the renders from the OP
  18. Agree 100% on the bolded points
  19. Great stream, Wags. Thanks for doing this...was great to see more of 2.5 and I really enjoyed Part II with the rockets and LEX. Also, thanks for confirming that the "stutter" in Part I was from YouTube and not experience on your end in DCS, that is great to hear. Thanks again, and Happy New Year! 2018 is shaping up to be the best year DCS has seen.
  20. Good point, hadn't thought of that...it might still fit though? It would work perfectly on my Wheel Stand Pro, thank goodness. Agreed that I do like to be able to map functions to my HOTAS that are on the HOTAS in the real aircraft...outside of that, I can click in the cockpit as necessary without a fuss, but when I am going for maximum immersion (for example I will change grips for each jet I fly -- Harrier, Hornet, Tomcat, Warthog), I really value being able to keep it as close to real life as possible.

  22. Wonder how those finger lifts work (if those are indeed finger lifts)? I had always seen them on the other side of the throttle I thought.
  23. You beautiful bastards....that looks incredible, exactly what I had been waiting for! Very excited for this, great work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  25. VFA-113 Stingers, just watched many of these videos...really great stuff, guys. Thanks for posting. S! Also, great to hear that ED is working on the LSO seat stuff as well. Exciting times ahead, indeed.
