  1. Oh, I guess I'm not sure why the question would even be asked then...what else would they be for? Apologies for the confusion, anyway... Speed brake switch matches that of the Hornet quite well (not the Warthog style), and the amount of buttons available on the throttle itself is 1:1, with the exception of maybe missing the toggle on the left/outside of the throttle. Again, I don't see anything to complain about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System Antenna Elevation Control in the real jets, but could be mapped to zoom for DCS (if desired) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System If those mini sticks click down (in) too, this is literally the PERFECT throttle design. Swap a couple of the base buttons for 3 way switches and I don't think anyone could find a way to complain about anything. Finger lifts for AB. You have to lift them to pass the gate into AB. All jets do it a little differently (push through, finger lifts to get over into AB and/or idle, push left and then up, etc and some react differently when there is weight on the wheels vs airborne)...but these look like classic finger lifts [emoji1303] The Hornet does it a really weird way, but for this throttle it appears to have both throttle cut offs on the palm side and finger lifts for AB on the finger side. 4. Yeah, but I use a Wheel Stand Pro so the BRD-N is a no go for me.
  5. The wheel is visible in the renders from the OP
  6. Agree 100% on the bolded points
  7. Great stream, Wags. Thanks for doing this...was great to see more of 2.5 and I really enjoyed Part II with the rockets and LEX. Also, thanks for confirming that the "stutter" in Part I was from YouTube and not experience on your end in DCS, that is great to hear. Thanks again, and Happy New Year! 2018 is shaping up to be the best year DCS has seen.
  8. Good point, hadn't thought of that...it might still fit though? It would work perfectly on my Wheel Stand Pro, thank goodness. Agreed that I do like to be able to map functions to my HOTAS that are on the HOTAS in the real aircraft...outside of that, I can click in the cockpit as necessary without a fuss, but when I am going for maximum immersion (for example I will change grips for each jet I fly -- Harrier, Hornet, Tomcat, Warthog), I really value being able to keep it as close to real life as possible.

  10. Wonder how those finger lifts work (if those are indeed finger lifts)? I had always seen them on the other side of the throttle I thought.
  11. You beautiful bastards....that looks incredible, exactly what I had been waiting for! Very excited for this, great work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. VFA-113 Stingers, just watched many of these videos...really great stuff, guys. Thanks for posting. S! Also, great to hear that ED is working on the LSO seat stuff as well. Exciting times ahead, indeed.
  14. Would be elated to see any of the above, solid list my friend. For me, I also really wanted to be able to pull windows into my VR desktop (as stated in your first bullet), but Dash 2.0 does that just fine for me.
  15. Just finished watching the Live stream (started it late), really good stuff gents. And well done to Mav for keeping the stream entertaining even when there was a lull in the fighting. S!
  16. For me (which is admittedly a very amateur opinion), of the modules I've flown, it would have to be the L-39. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Give this a shot... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Red Flag Rumble - New Year's Eve Not at my computer currently (or I would pull it down for you myself) but go to 104th TS and look for the "SRS" channel in there...it's shown in there [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. "Ready for departure" voice command cues the "Ready for takeoff" command in DCS...so VAICOM has it right [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. DCS and Pimax The longer the final version is delayed, the more I'm inclined to just wait it out for Gen 2 of the Rift. Either way, regardless of timing, it's going to be a tough decision. A wide FOV high resolution HMD will be tough to pass on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes, sometimes. I also have the issue when I switch from 2.2 to 1.5 in the same session. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. VAICOM PRO plugin for VoiceAttack It also occasionally tells me there is no recipient available for Crew, too? It's almost like VAICOM isn't accumulating the proper server info upon loading in?
  23. VAICOM PRO plugin for VoiceAttack I have narrowed the issue down...this occurs only when I fly in the 104th server on 1.5.8 I voice the command, VA/VAICOM recognizes it and I hear the confirmation beep...but nothing happens. If I tap the "/" for the F-comms menu once or twice, it then finally executes in DCS. Hollywood, can you take a look when you have a second and see if you're able to use VAICOMPRO with no issues in the 104th, please?

  25. With the MkII revision, were the spring tensioners tightened up at all to support the weight of the Warthog grip? I've essentially made my decision to go VKB over VPC, I'm just slightly concerned about some of the feedback I've read regarding the base not handling the weight of the metal grip too well...even with the strongest springs. I'd be happy enough with the VPC throttle, to be honest. There's just really nothing about the preview that wow'd me...plus I HATE that the mini-stick is being forced to the thumb. I would love to see something top notch from VKB (maybe including some finger lifts) but my expectations are tempered. At least it will be better than my Warthog. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
