[Official] SimShaker for Aviators
Buckeye replied to f4l0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Is XP10 supported? Or just XP11? i was recently asked this question and figured this was the best place to ask the actuals SSA developer. Thanks! -
Proud of you, brother. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, Connection does or does not charge you in full (not just the authorization that falls off, I’m talking the actual charge) when you complete the preorder? Or that only occurs when it ships? Don said when it ships, folks on Reddit said otherwise. Figured I’d ask for clarity here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hell yeah! Looking forward to it man. Thanks, as always. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Force Feedback Joystick Coming soon
Buckeye replied to FoxHoundcn's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Good to see it works with TM grips...now if it can handle a 15cm extension, you can count me in. Completely fine with $1100 price tag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
You quoted a post of mine from February, where I quoted what VKB had stated at that time. It’s no surprise to me that VKB won’t have it out in Q3 if this year...hell, I’d be surprised if it was out by Q3 of 2020, personally. And yes, some find it silly to use a Russian grip with a NATO jet. Some, not all. So, thanks for providing your opinion, and it’s safe to say you fall on the other part of that “some”. FWIW, a number of people have said the buttons on the Hornet grip feel better than the MCG. Go figure. Still, none of them come close to the OTTO buttons I have on my throttle. 1) Turns HMD On/Off when the Knob is on, otherwise in the real thing I believe it's used for recon purposes 2) IFF's targets in later Lot Hornets and Super Hornets, older versions don't have the press 3) Right selects 120's, it's left that's not used in the real thing - Fwd = AIM7, Aft = Gun, Right = 120, Down = AIM9 4) For game purposes, a nice addition to allow more functionality on the stick when compared to other grips like the WH, etc.

Doesn’t the Index still have a pretty narrow FOV compared to the wide options like Pimax? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Was the only reason I cancelled my VKB order and kept the VPC order — much stronger springs to hold up to the Warthog (and now Hornet) grips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Both the TM website and Amazon still say July 25, but I’ve seen a number of different dates across other sites. I’m still banking on the TM/Amazon date being the best estimate for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

[NO BUG] Controls on the Hornet's joystick are not working
Buckeye replied to Migo's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
There is no animation of the joystick in the Hornet yet, that's correct. -
Based on this post from Wags, there is a good chance: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3950597&postcount=161 Just gotta wait and see if they deliver or not.

Interestingly... we've had the VR Optimization since May
Buckeye replied to Nagilem's topic in Virtual Reality
Interestingly... we've had the VR Optimization since May Same. Not sure if they “took it back out” or what, but I definitely saw a bump two patches again and now nothing on the most recent one. In any case if what I saw two patches ago was the full optimization...not that great. Definitely not a “50% boost”, for me at least. Impossible to really project that though without knowing all the facts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Went from a 4790K (4.9ghz) to 9700K (5.1ghz), nice bump on my Pimax 5K+. Also went to a new motherboard and from 16GB to 32GB of RAM at the same time though, so hard to really decipher any clear details on what caused what.
-
It jumps around between the cores (unless you lock it to one, or a certain number of cores)...but it's still only using 2 cores at any given time. It's how the game is coded and Wags, ED, et al have confirmed this hundreds of times. In their words "It would be a massive undertaking to change this."

The price breaks on the online warehouses aren’t much. The cheap prices can be had on random surplus on eBay, so not sure what you’ve said would be true...at least not materially true. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s a SRS question, see the SRS Discord for help. It’s likely that your audio output in SRS isn’t set properly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lol, right? My 5-way OTTO comms switch for my throttle was $185 alone for one switch, made the price of the grip seem very reasonable to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Love the OTTO switches, might to the same modifications to mine  Will follow along with you to see how it works out for you. I have all OTTO switches on my throttle, so want to ensure the buttons on my grip are up to par.

How is that one little panel with $1.50/ea Chinese switches $600? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks pretty much identical to the real thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TM Warthog is a bit over 1000g, TM Hornet is a bit over 800g. Real Hornet grip is also a bit over 800g. Doesn’t really matter though bc required actuation force in the Hornet (the real one) is higher than any joystick base we have available to us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
