I actually prefer having the re-arm we did. To an extent it simulates the vast amount of planes that an air-force would have at their disposal, that we cant possibly have. In the future, I would almost like to see an ATC used. Our comms worked good, but it would be more realistic for the strike to call ATC for assistance, and then ATC decide who needs to be diverted for assistance. Anyways, it was great fun. I think there will be many improvements next time to make it a bit more challenging for both sides.

The TacView ACMI is awsome. Its hard to tell what I want to watch.

Pilotasso, I think you miss read me :) I said clock speed. R600 @ 750MHz. 8800 @ 575MHz. Which is odd to me, considering AMD having lower clock speeds before compared to Intel but better performance. I think a VP or 3 should start getting the resume ready.

Thats not true. It was when that video was posted all over the internet, but AMD has had power stepping technology for a while now. FWIW I had a room mate a while ago. I was helping him solve a windows issue, he had a P4. It looked like it was overheating. Well he had the HSF off, and that baby cracked before it even finished posting. Not like in that video where it started to smoke a little..... smoke and crack. So, just realize where the propoganda is coming from on that one. From what I hear also, the X2 6000 actually comes close in performance to the C2D 6400. But for me, I had an X2 4400, but not AM2. So I needed to get a new MoBo anyways. At that time, about 3 mo ago, it was clear to get a C2D. And as for clock speed, yeah. Look at the NV 8xxx vs ATi 2xxx. ATi is much faster. All in all though, these C2D perform very well and were actually very well priced from previous generations.

Note about Vista. It seems so far that I can tell, if the program accesses a USB device, it needs to be run as Admin.

Its not a rumor, it was stated by one of the Dev's. Who knows how much though, they claim 'low-cost'. But if an X-fi costs around $100, $50 could be considered low cost. Never know though, it may be free.

That X2 3GHz may perform at stock speeds neck and neck. But with no effort, and probably very little if any vCore increase, that E6400 will be @ 3.2GHz. I could never get my X2 4400 to overclock very well. Prices sure are looking good on both sides though.

Yeah, if these come out for the Cougar, you better believe I will buy one.

I have seen problems in the past where VPU recovery kicked in for no reason, but that was in past Catalyst drivers, not sure how it works now.

I bought a 17" Touchscreen last week, new off of ebay for $369.

SK, I have my cougar setup a bit different, I only have the AB detents. What I did was run the throttle range program, and then use the value in there and wrote the profile that between a certain range, it equals 100% Mil. It took a bit of tweaking to get the values right, but I will post what I got if you want, and then you can adjust as needed. The interesting thing, is at 100% Mil, the AB lights are on, only on F15. But no flame. All other planes dont have the AB lights on.
