  1. Thanks for the hotfix! Happy to have the rwr working properly now. :)
  2. Maybe they want to finish the weapon systems first before releasing the DTC feature.
  3. By the way, Hornet has M61A2 and not M61A1. Current damage is correct. This canon is known to be unable to damage armoured targets.
  4. Hi, Just picked up on a small inconsistency with how the caution lights brightness knob works. Right now when you turn the "voyants" knob to Jour (Day), it dims the panel. When you turn it to Nuit (Night), it brightens it. Shouldn't it be the other way around? You would want more luminosity during the day to better be able to see the lights and less luminosity during the night to avoid getting blinded. Below, a couple pics depicting how it currently works.
  5. Hornet ground radar isn't necessarily the same as the Viggen's :music_whistling:
  6. That is awesome! So glad they are re-doing the engine sounds.
  7. Yup, too dark I agree.
  8. I don't want to have simplified NVG's. It's perfect the way it is.
  9. I too thought it was a bug but it's been confirmed by the devs that it's not.
  10. Should have been posted in the bug reports section...
  11. You won't get better clouds if they stop modelling aircraft systems in detail. The two have nothing to do with each other. Simple as that. If they start cutting module development time all you're gonna see is new early access aircraft coming sooner. That's it, that's all you're gonna get.

    Glad i waited

Razbam has done a phenomenal job on the cockpit update. It's top notch quality, up there with the Tomcat and Hornet. Now it's close to being a perfect module. They just need to add button press animations for the INS panel and revamp the in-cockpit engine sounds.
  13. I agree here. The VOIP system that will be integrated into the sim should basically be ED's version of SRS. If it's just basic VOIP communications like we have with TS or Discord then I find almost no point in having it.
  14. Early Access is neither good or bad. In my opinion the problem comes from how they handle it more than anything else.
  15. Not yet. They said it will be coming someday. No idea why it's taking such a long time.
  16. Are you dropping them with or without guidance? By default GBU release points are calculated a bit long but that's on purpose. That's for ensuring they would hit the target even after maneuvering and bleeding some energy. Now don't quote me on the exact terms here but I remember with the A-10C, in the weapon profiles we would switch to ballistic release point calculation when dropping them unguided. Otherwise they would always land long. As far as I know there is now way to do it currently in the Hornet.
  17. Correct. Seems like that's the case indeed.
  18. I was talking specifically about the ADF. I've tried what you suggest but it doesn't work. The morse code is heard regardless of how the switch is positioned.
  19. How do you switch off hearing the morse code? Seems like the only way is using the volume knob of the radio itself. Problem is if you turn that all the way down, it completely switches off the radio. Any ideas?
  20. You can get hundreds of hours out of any game. Nothing special with DCS here.
  21. Users should be allowed to setup "special for joystick" type binds for any switch in the cockpit that they want. Having to choose from a limited list isn't a solution.
