  1. Got it, thanks Panther
  2. I'm curious why they do that though. I've read they found placing aim-120s on the wingtips reduced the wings lifespan and even led to wing cracking in some cases.
  3. I'm having the same problem. I enabled everything as instructed but still couldn't fire the gun.
  4. No, it's normal. It's you man. I'm flying the L-39 right now and I'm perfectly able to fly the jet with no curves at all. It's just a sensitive plane by nature. It's made that way. If you find you can't control it, just practice and you will overcome it. To explain a bit, what makes an aircraft sensitive is the position of its center of gravity in relation to its center of lift. A plane like a Cessna will have its center of gravity forward and thus won't feel twitchy at all. A military jet or aerobatic plane on the other hand will have their center of gravity more aft, making them a lot more sensitive to elevator input. Modern jets like the Hornet, Viper, Mirage, etc, have built-in stabilization algorithms and basically help you control the aircraft easily. The L-39 doesn't have that, and that's why it feels very twitchy. But again, it's just a matter of getting used to it.
  5. funny I was wondering the same thing yesterday... but yeah no clear answer it seems.
  6. I don't know what Asus use for their pcb but I have never had more saggy cards than with this brand.
  7. Yes Finnish Hornets have upgraded touch UFC, it makes them a bit special. Flaps to full extended is probably part of their procedure for performing short take off and landing runs from improvised landing strips.
  8. I just don't get it, again and again I see people complaining about the cockpit looking old. It already got an update a few months ago and it's looking great. I mean, why...
  9. $100 for a single module, what a great deal indeed... Workforce size and intent to make quality products are two different matters.
  10. Personally I am a bit disappointed that we have to pay $79 for a Hornet module that has only a tiny dev team working on it. I'm sure they are working very hard but I mean, no wonder things are taking so long...
  11. If you are having difficulties enjoying the sim with your current setup, I would say VR while still being a very cool tech, will not be enough to turn things around imo. So dropping 3k on it... you gotta be careful.
  12. It's because you are using a customised cockpit. I had the same issue before. Just go to your special options menu and set custom cockpit to default and voila, problem solved.
  13. Depends on the modules. Some have excellent sounds like the Mi-8, L-39, Hornet, Harrier, Mig-15, F-86, F-5... those are more than satisfactory. Others like the Mirage, Viggen or Mig-19 are really poor.
  14. Just reporting a little issue with the mission called "Geologist" (mission #6 I think) where a Mi-26 blows up on the ramp right at mission start. No big deal of course but a slight immersion breaker.
  15. The audio fixes brought by this mod should come by default with the module, at least regarding the audio looping thing, very annoying.
  16. At which time will the matches take place? As I'm living in Europe I worry I may not be able to participate if it is at night US time for example.
  17. Just wanted to say thanks for making this excellent campaign. It has a pleasant atmosphere and the voice overs as well as the radio communications are very well done. It's brilliant, glad to have purchased it! :)
  18. Actually you need to enable switch 3 as well.
  19. The likely reason why Belsimtek haven't implemented multicrew in their choppers is ED's bad multicrew netcode. It's buggy as hell and not working properly at all. Simply look at what's going on with the Gazelle and F-14... Even if they try their best, the third parties can't do anything about it. It's up to ED to revamp it and fix the core issues that exist.
  20. I know a guy who has flown on an F-16 once and he said the controls felt surprisingly light.
  21. Why are the most unrealistic servers the most popular? Because 90% of people have no clue what's realistic flying.
