  1. Unfortunately the scope of this thread is not limited to mach transition, but instead, covers every moment where the cockpit shakes like during catapult takeoffs or high AoA. Instead of seeing an airframe shaking realistically it looks like there's a 9.1 magnitude earthquake happening in the cockpit. Hence why I would like to have a slider to be able to tone it down. The Mig-21 and Mi-8 both have such a feature and I'm sure this would be pretty quick to implement. Anyway, thank you IronMike for taking the time to read and respond to this thread. I feel like Heatblur is always trying to achieve the best for their customers and this comes as a proof of that.
  2. Well, you can't. Paid campaigns have their mission files locked.
  3. I've read his post already, and of course he is correct. But that's not what I'm talking about. The shaking in itself is correct. I'm not against the shaking. What I don't like is how it looks visually here in DCS.
  4. I'd suggest you pass the Navy selection process, complete years of flight training and get jets. Until then, please keep your uneducated comments for yourself. The shaking we currently have in the DCS Tomcat is anything but realistic.
  5. Please, please Heatblur give us a slider to adjust the amount of cockpit shaking! It's the main thing that is putting me off from buying the Tomcat. I simply can't stand it. The Mig-21 and Mi-8 for example have an adjustment slider and I think it would be absolutely needed here for the F-14.
  6. The video has been edited of course.
  7. I'm having the same thing.
  8. By the way, just to be clear, when I said "this issue" I meant the one described in the original post where the mirrors aren't reflecting.
  9. Ok I've found where this strange issue was coming from. It's related to running a custom cockpit. Select the default cockpit in the special options menu and the problem will go away.
  10. It can appear as a box sometimes. I've had this happen as well.
  11. Maybe if you look at his first posts and see how angry and unfriendly he was you would understand... Also being a civil engineer doesn't mean you know the subject here. Let's be honest. You know the resistance of materials in buildings and stuff but you have no idea of how a Hornet's wing is designed and how it interacts with g-force and the airflow. There is a reason why they hire aerospace engineer to build airplanes, not civil engineers...
  12. Stop ranting lmao. This is not even a bug. Plus your comparison pictures between the sim and reality look incredibly close... I don't really see how they modelled it wrong really. Maybe the flex point has to be shifted 2 centimeters or whatever, it's hard to tell, pics are so close. But just chill...
  13. They have to fix the netcode first. There are frequent synchronization issues between the RIO and pilot on the F-14 currently. But it's not Heatblur's fault. This issue is present with all the other multicrew capable modules. Only ED can fix it.
  14. Persian Gulf and Nevada Map is all you would need at this point.
  15. IC is a pain sometimes... I have a few benign sound mods that I can't use in MP just because of the damn integrity check.
  16. I can confirm that. Whether you turn de-ice on or not it won't affect your flight in dcs.
  17. I concur. Looks like this is something they forgot to adjust.
  18. It's not a bug. This is called a crossbleed start.
  19. Dude, it sounds amazing! I feel like being back in Virginia Beach hearing Hornets fly around once again.
  20. Not only emergency. I've heard a few of them say they would punch them off in case they're about to get attacked in some way.
