Wags, that is amazeballs. Thanks! So glad ED is supporting VR, and so quickly too! I just moved my 4k TV upstairs. My wife thanks you for the support too as she now get's to benefit by getting a new TV. :) Thanks for the new screenshots of the 18C too, they look great. (Just a preemptive thanks for a very near future post I hope.) :music_whistling::lol::lol::lol:

I'll have to try that resolution trick. Thanks for the link Shogun. I'm sold! What an awesome experience. I came from a 4k, but after a little while I didn't even find myself caring about the drop in res. Greekbull is a pixel whore however so is still undecided. :) :)

I built my first "pit" off their plans. Worked great. I don't remember it being too expensive, maybe pvc is cheaper here. Try getting scraps maybe...? They are also a bit overbuilt. You can easily cut down on the pieces. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Considering 3 of the 5 Bounty Hunters just bought Oculus Rifts today I'd have to say you are correct. Sage

So... VR... I have been convinced. Going to make the switch in the near future. Kind of killed my original pit idea. Still going to make one, but geared to VR. I have been told that having an accurate sized pit frame around you while in VR adds to the experience greatly. So still going to build the frame but no longer concentrating on switch-for-switch. Just some of the ones you need easy access to and can reach blind for. DDI's, UFC, Landing gear, Wing Fold, Hook, A2A and A2G... etc. Spoke via email with the guys at dogfightboss.com and they are working on an 18 pit. For $350 I'm thinking I might go that way now.

Caucasus Map Texture DLC by Starway
SageOT replied to Starway's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
No going to lie, wasn't much interested in this as a purchase from ED. That said, ED, very cool move for a hard working member of the community. Get the donate link up Starway and I'll happily donate. Sage -
Ok, that's good to hear. And the working version of Mist is from GitHub correct?
-
Ok. I am comfortable with triggers now. I can't script my way out of a wet paper bag. I can say do script file and take advantage of all you smart people's hard work. My question is. In the current state of 1.5/2.0 as of today, 18 May 2016. Is there a list of what scripts reling on Mist are working and what are broken? If not is that something worth making? Thanks much. Sage

Yeah, I like to go as plug and play as possible. :) -
an Arduino USB HID controller, composite USB controller
SageOT replied to overpro's topic in Home Cockpits
I always get SPDT. Can just not wire one side and it becomes a SPST if you don't need the extra. I have an SPST gear toggle and I hate it, just haven't got around to swapping it. Hate having to use another program or digging into code to make it send on release vs SPDT just send map gear up to one throw and gear down to the other... -

New A10C Campaign - SP or MP - Need your opinion
SageOT replied to Ranger79's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
I always wondered how that worked. Well maybe things will change some day with dedicated server support. To bad there's not a way a MP version can check to see if each person logging in has purchased a copy of the mission. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to it either way. Sage -
Ranger79 Base Objects Pack (Hesco's + others)
SageOT replied to Ranger79's topic in Static/AI Mods for DCS World
So we fly the f18 mods. I have been told that they are not playing well with this pack. Apparently causing game crashes. I have not experienced it yet but others have. I miss this pack. What can I provide to you all to help track this issue down? Logs, etc. Thanks, Sage Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -
Little late to the game in posting, but looks good Frogger. Keep up the progress pics.

New Thrustmaster gear coming soon
SageOT replied to gillers's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Well that just plain sucked. That said, Dojo, thanks so much for the live updates! That was an awesome thing to do for the community. Sage -
You beat me to it. :)

The A is 99% SU33 bindings but you do need to bind some of the A/G system keys from the SU25T. It was working fine for me last I checked. The C will go A/G, only issues with it at the moment are... you can't cycle A/G munitions, it will drop in the order it wants and if you have say two Mk82's, it will drop them all, so go for asymmetric load-outs. Also, it's a funky CCRP/CCIP combo on the drop. Just have to fiddle with it, but once you see how it's working it's fairly easy. Honestly didn't look to close at the instrument readouts in the A... New Thrustmaster gear coming soon Dojo. I expect a post on here minutes after the event starts. :) :) I will be refreshing this more than I did waiting for the 2.0 launch. Awesome that you get to be there! Have fun. Crap, I have to get a Twitter account now. -
Man that would be great. Being able to drop PPT's is one of the best features of BMS. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

No worries. Like I said cool idea. Always sucks for the mission designer because they know what's going on. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Help Needed! Try your hand at commanding a brigade...
SageOT replied to DUSTY's topic in Mission Editor
Ok units placed. They are tiered so if you random spawn they should hold up, I tried to keep A co supporting A co, B co with B co and so on. Units are pushed out as far as Mountain View (if spawned) and the North part of Sandy Valley. SAM and AAA units spread out as appropriate, same with Arty. Hope it's what you were after. Dusty, Taking a whack at this. Your Blufor plan... around the mountains from Vegas and pushing up Sandy Valley or over the pass through Mountain View? Cool idea by the way. Sage
