Have you already tried to repair your installation? Repair should be available in the start menu or you can do a repair in the command line via following option in the bin folder of the game: dcs_updater.exe repair If you cant find the option in the start menu and are not familiar with the command line then you can find a guide for the command line here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2548018

I´m not that experienced with jets either but the manual suggests a cruise speed of about 300kts - I think this would be the most economic setting for maximum range. And here is a short quote out of the manual regarding max throttle: So I think you can´t say in general that it´s ok to slam the throttle full forward for a long time and just leave it be - far more I think it´s more important to keep an eye on the gauges and the values and act accordingly.

Would probably help if you'd say what exactly you are looking for.

Haha .. yesterday I was asking my buddy if he also heard those strange noises and he only replied with no and asked if I had a washing machine in my cockpit :megalol: I also thought it was the flaps or the aux air intakes but everytime I hear those sounds nothing changes with flaps / air intakes. Some pump might be a good guess I think.

I think this is not X55 exclusive but more of a problem with DCS itself. Sometimes it works if you press the button multiple times - sometimes close the options then open and try to bind again. At least this works for me.

Hab DCS jetzt mal neu gestartet und die FFB Achsen invertiert - so wie es aussieht, passts jetzt. Hatte die Achsen vorher auch schon versucht zu invertieren, aber während des Spiels hat es die Änderungen wohl nicht angenommen denk ich.

Fliegt jemand das Ding mit nem MSFFB2? Bei mir ist der Stick auf der Rollachse immer ~1/3 nach links und nicht zentriert. Kann mir grade aber nicht erklären, wieso, da der Stick bei anderen Modul ganz normal funktioniert. Aileron Trim ist auch nicht im Spiel. Weiß da vlt. jemand was?

Is anyone flying the F-5 with a MSFFB 2? The roll axis is always off to the left (stick is about 1/3 positioned to the left). Not sure why though as this doesn´t happen in other modules and there is no aileron trim at all. edit: Just tried to invert the axis for FFB and it seems like this did the trick. My stick is now centered as it should be.

Just tried the 109 - there were forces but overall it seemed to be wrong or feel different than in 1.5.3 and I also was missing the shaking / buffeting. MSFFB2 here. dcs.log.rar

Heheh ... I´ve never had the chance to get some real experience with real choppers but I always thought that the Mi-8 was the one which felt closest to the real thing - closely followed by the Huey. Love both of this choppers but the Blackshark I hardly ever fly.

Just tried in 1.5.3.53279 and it works as it should.

Just did a few tries - the white indicator was always visible. Even after bringing her down pretty hard. You´d really have to smash her down to wreck the gear - at least this was the only time when the indicators retracted (when I wrecked the gear).

Ah, there is room for jokes on this forum - it´s just that it´s always the same. If there is a rough estimate given in form of e.g. "probably in July" then you can be sure that on the 1st of July there is a topic asking why XY isn´t there already. I think people are just fed up a bit with such topics - even if they are meant to be funny.

It should run pretty smooth with your card - I´ve got a 970 and almost every setting on high and I have no problems with microstutters or jerky movement with TrackIR I have the settings for Clutter/Grass, Trees Visibility and Preload Radius lower though. Not sure how much of a difference the CPU is making (got a 6770k)
