  1. Reported 10-24-2018 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=223248
  2. Ok. It was not this bad on release. Plus the Hornet does IR imaging just fine. Im glad to hear that ED is working on a new renderer, but this is 100% on Razbam to make it usable until a better solution exists. If ED can make the current AGM-65G IR image work ok, It should be possible to make the same renderer work for Harrier AGM-65G and Navflir.
  3. IR images looks very strange in the Harrier. Navflir is very dark and nearly useless in current condition. It should be brightly lit and green. The AGM-65G is also extremely dark, not comparable to the same AGM-65G on the F/A-18C Hornet. One of the main features is the N/A - Night Attack capability. But sadly it is not very fun to do night missions in it. The Harrier should thrive at night, so simple question. What is going on with the FLIR and IR rendering on Harrier?
  4. Welcome! I used to be schizo but we are ok now.
  5. Why would anyone want to use the old cockpit?
  6. The ability to place aircrafts on roads and refuel/rearm would be a very welcome addition. Essential for Viggen but many airforces practice to use roads. MiG-29's and MiG-21's landing on highways etc.
  7. I think a lot of the issues are covered in this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=245010
  8. Not in DCS. But Lebanon modified Huey's into bombers.
  9. I might be wrong about this, so if you are a Kamov expert - please chime in :) The current version we have is a late upgrade with ABRIS and a new b&w CRT monitor. Im pretty sure that our version is from the early 2000's. (number 24) Don't know how much "newer" the upcoming DLC is, but they are probably pretty close development wise. 1990's variant would mean no ABRIS and the old style CRT monitor. Point is that there are not too big differences between the current Ka-50 and upcoming Ka-50 variant as they are both "updated" individuals within a limited timeframe. They belong to the same era.
  10. Thanks for your input and advice! I’ll try to figure something out. The Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 has nice trim functionality, but throw is really short and the base is big and made for a desktop. There are also full heli kits from Puma, but it is rather expensive and will not keep the equipment footprint down. It would be great with a simple lever on the base to quickly adjust between centering/no centering.
  11. Here is my TGP slew comparison. Harrier - Unusable with an axis. Hornet and Viper. OK-ish. Not perfect, I get jitter and such. It is usable with axis but could be refined further. Hornet CCRP with axis slew jumps around a lot and is unprecise. JF-17 TGP slew works smoother than the Hornet and Viper. Lots of options to be set for slew senistivity and speed. A-10C - flawless experience. Best TGP implementation yet as far as slewing and stability goes.
  12. @Gunnars Driver I have a Virpil stick, resolution is very good, but it centers. Do you recommend flying without trim? It takes more work and is a bit of a pain for longer flights. Same with the rudder pedals, they center. (I can swap cams and make the stick non centering, but I mainly fly fixed wing modules)
  13. I want paid DLC with new features. Like A-10C and Ka-50 (and hopefully F-5E) :)
  14. The Thrustmaster TWCS is on the smaller side. It still has the same type of sliding motion as the CH. If the motion itself is an issue there is a small axis wheel by the pinky that you can use for throttle and keep the handle in a static position. There are also custom built alternatives (often expensive) or maybe you find a kind soul in Input Output part of this forum or on Reddit/Hoggit, Reddit/HotasDIY that can help you build one. You can also try to reach BikerSid on Razbams Discord. He builds a lot of throttles, some in the style of Mirage2000 wich has a very thin grip. Here is also an example of generic DIY throttle with very sleek profile:
  15. I've had a great time with it so far! Once you get your head around the menu system and DTC it is a breeze to fly and fight in. Data Cartridge is superb, makes flight planning swift and easy. And possibly the most devestating weapon in DCS? The GB-6 SFW! Flew on a multiplayer server today. Launched at two different pre-planned targets (two large groups of armoured vehicles at 25nm) I was already on my way back to base when I got reports that both groups had been wiped out. What JF-17 lacks in panache it makes up for in capability. Only issues I'm having is AG radar flashing and some FPS drop when using AG radar. CTD issues seems to be fixed.
  16. I have a question regarding the C-802AKG. Is it possible to use for pre-planned targets without the data link pod? Or does the final targeting need the "Man-in-the-loop" aiming? Im trying to shoot it like a regular JSOW or GBU/GPS weapon, all pre planned. No video feed.
  17. Known issue for years. I use a regular hatswitch now. My setup is Thrustmaster TWCS throttle and the mini-stick work fine in other modules.
  18. I’d say the biggest item missing is a proper Data Cartridge functionality. Actually more important than the A-G radar but often overlooked. We need a flight planning menu. Not only for setting ECM but for creating waypoints and target points. Been flying the JF-17 recently and it is a night and day difference! Within a minute you have created and uploaded a complete ”mission” to fly. No more F10-back to UFC-F10-UFC punching in coordinates. Data Cartridge is also essential for pre planned strikes in MP. With 30+ players there is a very big chance that the target area has already been obliterated by the time you have created all your waypoints and target points.
  19. Just map it directly in DCS World. Takes like 5 minutes and there are options for setting curves, modifier buttons and such. If you are unsure how to set up controls for UH-1 here is a short tutorial
  20. We need Kuznetsov :)
  21. Yes you can :) There is a setting in the mission editor. But none ”in-game”. On other modules it is usually selectable on kneeboard page (should probably be in the groundcrew/rearm menu instead) Anyways, seems like it is not implemented. Mods feel free to move this thread into Wishlist section.
  22. No. There is no ripple setting. Only Single or Pairs.
  23. How do I set up rocket-pods to ripple fire? On the Harrier and F-5 it can be changed within the kneeboard, but only laser code is shown on the F-16 kneeboard/weapon page. There is a setting in the mission editor that works, but it is not very usable unless you are making your own missions.
  24. I did not even mention youtube? All I meant was that the current image does not look like a video feed coming from a missile. Walleye obviously is older and has it's share of issues with image quality. But the current feed from AGM-65F is totally lifeless in comparison. Reminding you that while it was introduced 30 years ago it uses a seeker from the late 1970's. Not even saying it should be poorer than it is. Just some life added to it, thats all.
  25. The AGM-65F picture is clean and does not look like a video feed coming from a missile. Crosshairs are also a bit static with no dynamic jitter at all. AGM-62 Walleye has a very nice "video effect" in DCS so I hope that something similar can be made for the AGM-65F.
