  1. I did not excuse anything, it is my subjective opinions on why there is not much development on the Yak-52. I also own other modules that are in the same boat, like the F-5E. On a positive note. There is competition in the "civilian sim" market, with a big title releasing 18th of Aug :)
  2. Thx Hiromachi. As much as I love the MiG-21bis module, downgrading the drivers is not an option. I play a lot of different games and sims. Hoping to see a fix soon :)
  3. Every hour spent working on the Yak-52 costs money. It will lower the earnings per sold Yak-52 module and that hour might also be more profitable or better used on another project. Simple as that. Not saying that it won't ever get fixed, but that is how this circus goes.
  4. I agree. Im very sad to see the state of this module. What a mess.
  5. What is the status for a fix? It makes it very difficult to enjoy the MiG-21 unless the radar is turned off.
  6. Massive improvement
  7. Troll  Canopy dirt does not add any form of value unless you want to reenact flying a museum piece. Even during war and combat conditions Im confident that the crew make sure that the glass is as clear as possible. These are oldschool jets without sophisticated radar or avionics, clear visibility out of cockpit is very important.
  8. Waited forever for a well needed cockpit fix... ED finally updated it... then broke it again after only 21 days. Way to go...
  9. Im more impressed that you reach 20k+ altitude in this bird. For a high-altitude fighter, It does not like to climb. My friend said, finally reaching 25000 feet: ”Im not doing that again. Never.”
  10. Issue is that the bullets land below the pipper. If ED adjusts the default position of reticle a bit lower on the glass we might get rid of the issues. In my opinion the current sight is also too fast and nervous, and should instead float around more slow and steady. But Bob1943 probably knows more about that.
  11. You should forward that file to ED Team. Great job :)
  12. OLD UFC Putting in the new display offers nothing except taking 1989-2010 missions off the table.
  13. To be fair, it only happens with re-projection on. But yes selectable VR-propeller would be nice. I do think that there should be more alternatives for VR users in general. Like installing VR optimized shaders, VR optimized textures etc. The ability to make DCS look a bit more "ugly" for a stable 90fps experience.
  14. Seems like it was only on certain variants/prototypes. Would be an awesome inclusion but maybe not 100% historically accurate for the type ED are making. On the other hand, ability to conduct proper Anti-Ship missions would benefit both DCS:WWII and the Channels/Marianas maps.
  15. Can the FB Mk VI carry torpedo? Anti-ship missions would be an awesome addition to DCS WWII.
  16. MiG-21 deserves the best :)
  17. I thought the internal canopy frame (vertical bars) needs to lineup and match external model? But thanks for clarifying. Looking forward to the new updates.
  18. Will Phase 1 (the next Open Beta update) include the new 3D cockpit canopy frame/ASP glass? Or is that planned for a later release?
  19. Thanks! Looking forward to the coming updates. I got the MiG-21bis when it first came out and it Is still one of the top modules in my opinion. Pure joy to fly.
  20. I hope that the testing period for ”experimental features” soon are completed. Correct functionality of ASP pipper or RWR should not be optional from the Special Options page, but properly integrated into the MiG-21bis module.
  21. Flying at the very edge is difficult during combat as we can only rely on the P-51 temp gauges. Trying to keep eyes on a small BF-109 and at the same time glance down to check temps is a good way to loose a fight. While it might be difficult to fully simulate, we should probably hear that something is not running ok. There might even be some smoke after a while. Performance degradation etc. The problem, as I see it, is how the engine damage is represented in DCS. The unrealistic CLONK! sound with the propeller seizing. Instant death. Even Nick Grey stated in an interview that it is "rubbish".
  22. I can confirm. Im sitting on a high-end system (i7, 32GB RAM, nvidia 1080ti 11GB gfx card, SSD). Radar on KILLS the framerate. Radar standby or off returns framerate to normal again. Please fix.
  23. Why are you trying to fly DCS in VR? Performance is a known issue. Fly on a regular 2D monitor and you will be fine. One day It might run fine, but until then I suggest you go Track IR for a better experience.
  24. Repeating my previous question: How do we know that the pictures/video on the first page are from USMC Litening II Pod? USMC has used more advanced Litening ER and AT pod versions since 2003. It is possible that the comparison is faulty and that the USMC source are from more advanced versions of the Litening pod.
