My specs absolute minimum for DCS VR. With tricks like overclocking cpu and gpu, oculus tray tool and project lasso i pushed 45 frames straight forward in the air and 30 FPS on the ground with not much going on in the mission. It's playable and ticking the edge of enjoyable, and hoping by every update that the performance in VR get better. Looking forward on Vulcan API and other things from ED (optimizing VR) to get it better. Meanwhile saving money for a new computersystem. :D

Interesting. But performance especially in VR should be priority number 1. I know ED is working hard on it. Wait and see. I know for sure it's not dissapointed! Quality over quantity. :D

TIP: Overclock just core 1 to 5GHZ. DCS just use core 1 for the game and core 2 for audio. :D

Welcome to the club! Flying for 5 years now. Still learning. Now flying with a decent joystick and throttle and coming from trackir to the oculus rift. All huge gamechangers that makes the experience far more easier and enjoyable. Invest and you get fines things back from DCS World! :D

Yep, I imagine. Tests from the past say that DCS is highly CPU demanded. core 1 is the highest demand for the program core 2 is for audio 9900k is the highest value on this moment. Is kicking in for 600 dollars ???? What about AMD? 7nm is coming, rumour is that the new processors come at 5.3 Ghz. And i believe not for 600 dollars. :D Besides that Vulcan Api can gain us huge performance. Only the gap in time and impatience of every individual can hold this back. :D Well the race is on. Next year i build a new pc... but on what components? Time will tell.. :D

Well the cpu's, gpu's, vr headsets are all stepping up in price near 50%. On the other side, what are we getting back? 20% better? It looks like devoloping new techniques for feature products is coming to the end of inventing. Really? I as consumer must pay all my vacationmoney for a new high end PC and vr headset? I think Intel, Nvidia, HTC, Oculus must know better. So i think i step over to AMD Zen2 and odessey+. And you know what? Yep, but a actual word of update on the progress of the proces is something what anybody wants to know, cause on the performance side. So Matt or somebody else please left a word! :D

+1 yeah. Can ED hold me off from buying the 9900K and 2080TI? It’s all about performance in VR! Time will tell... February 2019 planned to build supercomputer to play Dcs on VR with decent settings! :D

I think people forget that we've got a update every two weeks. Some updates of other sims are once in 6 months. The team from ED delivers a fantastic job. :D The team is split in many disciplines i think. - bugfixers - developers - testers - etc So there are not 80 people constantly working on updates.

:huh: WoW i don’t get it. There is so much. Ever thought of making missions, scripts, play with night and daytime, mist, rain and join a club too fly together? Your imagination are the bounderies of your DCS. Example i use my favorite songs when i kill some targets! It’s a true kick. I am a member of TAW. Flying together makes the real fun. Share knowledge become better. :D

It's not available yet, so DCS doesn't know your key. All that matters is bind the key to your account in your profile. When your profile says it's there. Then it is there, otherwise wait for solution of ED. Fingers crossed! :thumbup:
