Paveways and Mavericks, when they're not shot down by air defences. Two AMRAAMs, two AIM-9Xs, Two Mav-Gs and two GBU-12s. Looks so lean and dangerous

I guess that might be the case, but they feel too small and too modern for that. Most of those that I still could find look like this, covered (or, at least, they used to be) in concrete tiles, with two south of Krasnodar that have a runway with the apron at the end and to the side of it. The chart lists them as useable into the 80s, too. Might be, but the number seems far too excessive, seemingly rivaling the number of settlements

So I found this website where I found this map and I found that the Krasnodar Krai region was (is?) covered in small airfields like those found in DCS near Kutaisi. If you check with Google Maps, you can see that today, most of them are now derelict/turned into industrial areas/gone altogether. Some of them are as close as 15km of each other, with runways having around 400m in length. What necessity would give the reason for that many small airfields in such a relatively small area?

Martin P6M Seamaster: Atomic bomber flying boat. Words I'd never have thought I'd hear in a single sentence. Built right at the border between WWII and modern air warfare: A jet powered flying boat carrying nuclear weapons and a gun defensive armament. Exotic, to say the least. Quite the looker, too.

That's a cool idea! Good luck if/when you go ahead with it! That's a fair bit concerning, as saving money was one of the main incentives to make my own stuff Thank you for the link! I noticed some technical challenges that I will need to overcome should I start the actual building process

Hi! I'm terribly sorry for replying *this* late, but here we go: Thanks for the link, it's really helpful to see the innards of a throttle! The only trouble is that I don't own a 3d printer, so I'll have to make-do with other materials... For now, the biggest challenge is the internal mechanism for the lever. Most of the other details are already designed, I just need to put them on paper...

Hi everyone! For quite some time I've been bugged by the idea of making my own throttle and I've been mentally designing one. Has anyone else ever attempted building a bristling-with-buttons HOTAS throttle? If so, what were the problems encountered? Any words of advice?

I guess it's a bit late now but, here we go: The solution to the no cockpit problem that I had was the missing C++ Redistributable. With that out of the way, I can say that I am in absolute awe with this mod. A big thank you to those involved in making it and to those that helped me fix my issue! Cheers!

Well, it is in the correct folder. The savedgames DCS one, right? EDIT: Does it have something to do with the fact that I use Open Beta?

Hi! I've tried updating to the 2.0 version, but now I have no cockpit and the plane is flown by AI. Is there any fix for this?
-
Thank you for your answers! Will try it

That might be the case, but how do I completely uninstall a module? Is deleting the files from the Mods folder enough? I guess I should mention that this started happening after the Christmas Free Trial period has ended and I have deleted the files for those modules; they keep getting fully downloaded right back during an update.

Hi! For the past two open beta updates, I've encountered the following thing: With every new update, the updater downloads the data for all the currently available airplanes, the Supercarrier and the Normandy map, regardless of what I actually own. This way, the update reaches over 50 gigs of extracted files. Is this supposed to happen?

Hi guys! I've encountered a weird problem: The checkbox in the "VR" settings menu doesn't do absolutely anything. I remember that it used to split the screen. I'm trying to play DCS using TrinusVR, and I'm unable to connect the app to DCS in any way. I'm unable to use its head tracking systems, nor stream DCS correctly in VR mode. Is there any way I can get this to work? Greetings, Kilo

Well, it's enough for the arcade stepchild of the DCS world.

The V key, by default works as some sort of stabilizer. Doesen't work at high speed, though.

Searching for Artillery (using AI wingmen to "cheat")
Kilo replied to WelshZeCorgi's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
That's a general bug. Any gun bigger than small arms has no muzzle flash :noexpression:  -
Insert for isometric view (bugged) and F7 for external.

No problem: ;)

M1A2 abrams, Stryker, Bradley, M270 MLRS, LAV-25. Pretty much most NATO units, just like the Ural-4320T can reload most russian units.
-
Title says it all. Blue units can't reload from from M818 cargo truck.

May I request the same thing for the Tunguska? I cant't hit a thing even if I lock it first, for easier tracking.

Arcade Camera bug and Missile's smoke doesn't work
Kilo replied to Vitormouraa's topic in Bugs and Problems
Well, those missiles don't really make that much smoke ${1}
