  1. The problem is.. nobody is flying as it is right now. You can try changing the missions and see which one(s) will bring more players.
  2. I will rephrase this.. You probably don't consider yourself a 'target' when you're flying, but you ARE. So, we're ALL aware about the bugs and if we accept this as a given fact, I want those distances to be much closer so that any of us can find airborne targets more quickly.   4. Hi, It seems that the distances in the current mission are keeping the players away from the server.. Can we please have a more 'entertaining' mission until a proper mission with bombers and stuff? Thanks a bunch.

  7. I didn't watch the track, but, did you make sure you set the prop pitch governor to ON and the radiators to Open or Auto?
  8. There's also a nice little feature integrated in the control options, called Search. It does wonders.. :)

I understand you perfectly, as I also get frustrated by those persistent bugs, from time to time..but I also understand that what ED and its partners are trying to achieve is something else and at a different level from many aspects. The last but not the least, DCS is a very niched product and this comes with some downsides as the ROI is quite low compared to the effort and resources involved.   14. Thanks a lot for the explanation. I'll keep this in mind from now on. SP it's too boring for me, because of the current state of AI, so I rather get frustrated by the netcode than the AI :) Thanks again! S!
  15. OK mate, you might be right. Please prove me wrong by trying what I said. Other than that, your opinion is not different than mine.
  16. This is what we all do (used to do) in a Flanker, but now.. with the T going bull even from rear aspect and even when no flares are popped (check my video above).. I'm not sure what to think about this.. And please, try for yourselves then comment here. Much appreciate! S!
  17. Mkay.. According to the manual, the ET version became operational in 1990 and the shorter range T version became operational in 1983. The AIM-9M became operational in 1982. Now, my logical question here is: the +7 years of development of the T version and especially its seeker made it THIS bad?? I wonder..
  18. Dudes, it makes no difference if you shoot an R first, T sucks balls as it is right now. I've been playing Blue Flag since Round 3, and it used to have a good Pk. I recommend to all of you to get in a Flanker and try for yourselves then argue who's who ;)

  20. I know all the aspects of IR missile employment. It DOES NOT happen with AIM-9M for example, on the contrary I might add. I'm a little suspicious that this type of missile is efficient only against a non-manoeuvrable target, as it happens in DCS. Edit: there you go:
  21. Yes, I tried different settings of head positions but to no avail. That's why I opened this thread.. maybe someone from ED will hear us, at last.. Let's keep this thread alive, as I know it was discussed previously.

  23. No, the simple head movement which happens all over the place and especially when looking UP into the wooden roof, which is silly, at least..
  24. The scenario(s) is(are) simple.. head-on engagement within 5km. I die, he doesn't, I pop flares he pops flares. This happens almost all the time. I'll make some vids if necessary..
