What about those stick forces that are ridiculously modelled.. Does the 109 pilot have only one hand? Well, we don't know for sure.. these are the things that bother me. This.. hermetic style of ED explaining things, e.g. changes done to the 'game' with no explanation on the forum (on the changelog).

Don't get me wrong, I noticed the weird collisions with the P51 myself, but online. Offline, the collisions don't seem so out of place..

Intel will release his next gen CPUs (Cascade Lake) somewhere in April, which will be Spectre/Meltdown bug free ;) Regarding your problem with the old CPU, you must overclock it to squeeze every Hz out of it as it WILL matter for DCS performance. You should have the shadows turned OFF and the view distance medium/high. Nothing much you can do about it though..

I couldn't agree more with all of the above. I'm at the edge of quitting it in favour of Red Baron or smth..

There are other pilots, including myself, that don't want any labels at all. We all play by the same rules, btw.. bending those rules to accommodate a few frustrated 'pilots' is not in DCS spirit, which is realism. That's the niche ED exploited.. the 'hard-core simmers' who take the game in a more serious manner, hence, all the squadron flying around ;)

Well, I only heard that VR spotting is awful as I haven't experienced it myself, yet. I'm thinking towards the Pimax 5K in a few months, hopefully.
