  1. I just want to know if it's reliable or not by ED design..
  2. It seems that this missile is not 'fire and forget', despite the fact that it IS an IR missile. In a head-on engagement within 5km they lose track after breaking the lock. Is it working as designed or smth else is at work here? Please, someone, enlighten me..
  3. Hi, You've just blocked port 10308 with the port filtering rule. You don't need to open a specific port, unless you're hosting a server, then you need to set up a port forwarding rule for port 10308, which should point to your internal IP of your machine. I recommend you uninstall the ESET firewall as it messes up the TCP/IP stack of your OS and let only Windows Defender do its job. Let us know how it went. Cheerios!
  4. I believe that this is the right time for ED to fix the pilot's head movement in the cockpit. It's unacceptable that this issue has been ignored for such a long time. It IS impossible to keep the eyes on the target because of it. PLEASE ED, fix this!!! Thanks you!
  5. Looks perfectly good on my monitor. Try to calibrate your monitor.. there's a tool in Windows 10 for this.
  6. I have two words: garbage collectors. The programmers should know better, but my feeling is that.. they don't :)
  7. What about stick forces and axes curves (pitch/roll).. are they going to be correlated in any way? The 109 stick stiffens at very low speeds which is very weird.. If I set up some curves then I won't be able to move the (FFB) stick at all.. again, very weird. Are these issues going to be addressed?
  8. The implementation of FFB is good but far away from perfect.. For example, if you set curves on pitch/roll axes it'll mess up the trim forces as they are not correlated in any way. This goes for all A/Cs.

  11. First of all, you must understand and be aware of both missile and plane envelopes (both yours and enemy's).. that is, F-pole, A-pole and E-pole. Employing a high Pk missile in BVR is both an art and a science..
  12. This ain't an aerobatic or free flight server either. Fun is where you deny your opponent's move.. just like in chess for example. This server IS an airquake server though, we wait for both ED and eekz to further develop the missions to satisfy more people.   13. A war is still.. a war. More airfields so one can choose his aircraft would cope justt fine with them vultures. Actually, vulching is necessary to deny the enemy fighters. The best way to kill an enemy plane is.. it being on the ground.. ;)
  14. Agree with more flaks per airfield, but it won't stop the vulching. The distance between red and blue airfields is more than optimum as it is. You can fly in circles to form up anyway.. but it will definitely be more boring for all of us to fly to the targets if the distances are too large.
  15. But how is DCS coping with the factors that affect the laminar flow: adverse pressure gradients, surface roughness, heat and acoustic energy. Do we notice these on the P51 or it just flies in perfect conditions all the time?

  18. The zip file is not recognized by OvGME when trying to import it. I noticed that when unzipping the file it creates another directory under the mod dir. It's not a show stopper, just FYI. Thanks a lot for the mods though. Very good job! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
  19. I fixed the annoying MP stuttering by setting Adaptive vsync in Nvidia control panel.
  20. There's smth wrong with your mod and OvGME. I had to copy the files manually in ..Mods\aircraft\Bf-109K-4\Liveries\Cockpit_Bf-109K-4\default\. Please check.. Thanks.

  22. I know that you guys are busy, but I wasn't referring to the Spitfire.. I was talking in general.. I strongly believe that when it comes to Flight Model changes and updates, all these changes must be explained thoroughly, that's all. After all, DCS is about FM first..
  23. Yeah, these changes of the flight model on every module are probably a bit annoying, well, maybe very annoying for some of us, without having anyone from ED or 3rd party devs telling us any details.. I know..
