  1. Hi! 100% FPM has to be within the brackets (to get the right AOA), but the FPM must also be on the runway threshold (aim-point) AND and the correct -2.5° -3° cue (path/glide). The screenshot on post #1 shows a descent path of -6° or -7° which is almost suicidal. (F-16 don't have the same landing gear than an Hornet made to land on carrier) ... has to be -2.5 to -3°. Regards.
  2. Hi Bonedust! Do not hesitate to come back on Dev side mate! I would need someone to teach me a little bit more about particles.sys ... ;) Best regards.
  3. Hi! This is indeed not a bug at all (depending on present wind of course!). Regards.
  4. Hi! Maybe just a bit too early (?) ... remember, its a VERY early Beta. So many things are still missing/inaccurate, they certainly want to focus on more critical stuff. Regards.
  5. AIM-120 on wing-tip reduce/prevent fluttering issues.
  6. Hi! I am not sure to understand you correctly, but if your qustion is: "Is the "Uncage" a declutter feature in the real plane?", answer is yes. Regards.
  7. When Fred says "distinctive" : @ ${1}
  8. Hi! He means this: ... control surfaces are not proportional ... they are behaving "all or nothing". This is why lasing too early will bleed its energy and could (will) make it falling short. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GBU-12_Paveway_II "Paveway II laser-guided bombs use what is known as "bang bang" guidance. This means the bomb's fins deflect fully, rather than proportionally when it is attempting to guide to the laser spot. For example, if it sees the laser spot and determines that it should make a change it deflects its fins until it has over-corrected and then it deflects back the opposite direction, creating a sinusoidal type of flight path. This type of guidance may be less efficient at times, however is more cost effective and allows the use of simpler electronics in the guidance system." Regards.
  9. Hi! For GBU-12. For GBU-24 (lets rather say : for PIII) it is another story. Regards.
  10. I do confirm. Regards.
  11. Hi! - Depressurise tanks. - Open AR door. - Turns on AR lights. - Switch FLCS in landing gains. Regards.
  12. Hi! The rule mentioned by Bignewy makes completely sens here. But as an alternative, if you search for "F-16 HFFM" (No classified nor confidential information used ...) , I think you can safely rely on it as a relatively accurate reference. I would be surprised if this document is not already well known to the DCS F-16 development crew. Regards.
  13. Hi! Speaking IRL, a "non fully" aligned IRS will suffer from increased drift. As long as GPS is good and available, no problems. If you loose the GPS, system position becomes pure inertial and will reflects the IRS's position. Drift is about a nautical miles per hours in nominal ... with a badly aligned IRS, it can be much much more. Overfly FIX or Air-to-Ground radar FIX can help in periodically repositioning the IRS's position on an known coordinate. But won't reduce the internal drift. Regards.
  14. Hi! For For GE129, Afterburner Fuel Control is a fuel-operated electrohydromechanical control which regulates fuel flow to the AB in conjunction with the DEC. Regards.
  15. Hi! Regards.
  16. IRL we have to stick with ATO / ACO published transit routes / transit corridors and assigned "flight levels" (altitude blocs) relative to Force QNH (unless we have AWACS clearance to change blocs). Regards.
  17. Got it! Thanks a lot for your help!
  18. Big thanks! ... But something is not clear for me is about the "hat" ... I ma not sure the "T4-CN211N" is including the "N Post" type (on the bottow left) For about 111€, I would be sad to order the wrong one. ;)
  19. Hi Ranma13! Thank you for your great post! I would love to purchase that 4ways switch withthe same "hat" (N-Post type?) ... Where did you orderd yours? Regards.
  20. Same here. Same scenario ... same issue.
  21. "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!!" Airwolf ... The only module I would buy in early acess and nevermind if it never comes to a final status. A Bell222C to play the movie stuntman pilot in Nevada, I sign. :)
  22. What about bringing the WWII community who has bought the Normandy map a bit more ... something to do with it ... ? I am sure they would be happy. ... “None of us really changes over time. We only become more fully what we are.” Delightfully yours. Lestat de Lioncourt.
  23. Great! Is it planed to have it also on 1.5.8? ...
  24. Having an option to disable the inverted flight accumulators in order to push -4g against MiG-28. And an automatic flat spin recover feature to save my RIO. AND ... an option to display my girlfriend's picture over the EADI. :) That would be a true realistic TOP GUN simulator! :D
  25. I've played with Photoshop a little bit this morning, and here is the result to give another example of correct implementation of NVGs in simulation: On the pic, the green (effective rendering depends on your actual own monitor color setting of course) is closer to the green (almost fluorescent) I see IRL thought my NVGs. ... We can agree that DCS has a pretty good results in 2.5
