Hi! Having the bingo alarm when you already reached the minimum fuel overhead the recovery airfield is non-sens. It is already way too late. Bingo should be calculated and set to a value allowing a safe return from the furthest point of your track and land and with legal minimums fuel quantity after a divert from your recovery to your alternate. This is the rough calculation I am using on another sim: Simple and fast rough computation (only applicable for F-16): - At "standard" drag factor (around 150) and 480kts GS: - Below 5000ft = 20lbs/Nm - Between5000 and 25000 = 15lbs/Nm - Above 25000 = 10 lbs/Nm More elaborated rough computation: - If you are using a fuel rate value based on a clean configuration ... add 30% for each 100 points of drag factor. - If you are using a fuel rate value based on a fuel rate at sea level ... subtract 10% for each 5000ft BINGO = Req fuel from TGT to RECOVERY + Req fuel from RECOVERY to ALTERNATE + 1000 IIRC, the reason of the 2000lfb is just that it is the system default value. Regards.

Tell it to Lockheehd Martin ;)

Hi! I would rather vote for proper avionic details & proper FLCS in priority. then A/G radar with SPI management. Less "fake" IFF (non perfect) ... then ... HTS ... etc ... Regards.
-
Hi! That one is "wrong". Or lets say "non common". Truth is between the two. In game : I measure about 1.2s close / 1.2s open (on the "Stable") Regards.

What is your climb profile? ... (how are you climbing => Speed/Mach?)
-
Radar knows its own speed, alt, ground track, heading, temp ... etc ... it measures TGT relative speed, "aspect", trajectory, atl ... with all those info, system can calculate a CAS.
-
Hi! Normally, ... it depends on flight/package assigned FL (or blocks) in ATO/ACM's to respect Transit Routes/Transit corridors to the Hold or to the Feeder/Push point ... But this is not simulated. So ... you take what you want. Regards.
-
Hi! It has to be a CAS. Regards.

[CORRECT AS IS] Can’t change radar range by cursor.

Hi! Here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4148599#post4148599 ;) Regards. -
Hi! It is not. 0.1G per one "click" is far too much! Trims neutral, A/C is supposed to maintain 1.0G Side note: IMO, one shouldn't use custom axis curves. if FLCS is correctly made, curves are native and included in FLCS itself. Regards.

According to the info we have, USAF Block50 lost the TFR capability with AAQ-13&14 with the OFP4.2 (software update) somewhere after 2002 - 2003 mainly because low level TFR+FLIR is no more a USAF doctrine (replaced by NVGs) ... but "all" B50 are still wired and could retrice the capability anytime with a proper software update. MLU Block50 still have the capability to carry and use the AAQ/13&14. Seems that F-16 at Luke AFB still uses the LANTIRN for training. We can say that it is rather tied to a given tail number rather than to a given block. About the Sniper ... I'll check. EDIT: AN/AAQ-33 Sniper pod first deployed: January 2005 on F-15. On F-16 in 2006.

[CORRECT AS IS] Can’t change radar range by cursor.

Well ... if [CORRECT AS IS], then it is [CORRECT AS IS]. No big deal. There are other more "critical" things on other aspects for the time being. -
[CORRECT AS IS] Can’t change radar range by cursor.
Dee-Jay replied to Wicked.-'s topic in Bugs and Problems
Maybe you already know that, but it doesn't change anything to "scaning"distance. radar power/gain remains the same. It only act on display. -
"The distribution of the Rafale AM for FSX is definitively stopped following a non-agreement with the company Dassault Aviation, all freeware products in particular, representing their planes are also prohibited from distribution. The Rafale B and all the Tiger Meet textures are finished but cannot also be served. " "Not sure" it is a good idea (?) ... unless agreements with Dassault.

[CORRECT AS IS] Can’t change radar range by cursor.

That is basically what I am doing (more or less) ;) ... it is not something that we can't found elsewhere on other sim". But I won't send such documents for obvious reasons. Not the -1 right? But the 3-4 correct? (I don't refer to GR docs as DCS-F16 is not HAF version) -
reported Caged FPM Behaves weird in crosswind.

Pitch ladder with Drift C/O is wrong (at least on the stable version). It should not have lateral deltas. -
reported Caged FPM Behaves weird in crosswind.
Dee-Jay replied to Deano87's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi! We had the same issue on "another sim" because of a wrong implementation of the Drift C/O. On level flight, whatever the Drfit C/O switch, FPM should say on horizon and should no be affected by the wind. Regards. -
[CORRECT AS IS] Can’t change radar range by cursor.
Dee-Jay replied to Wicked.-'s topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi! I don't know on what document you have seen this (?) ... For F-16C BLK 40/42 & 50/52 (APG68 radar), in TWS, range scales are changed as in RWS. But ... the range scale will not decrease if the TOI cannot be displayed on the lower range scale. The range scale will automatically decrement when the TOI is at a range less than 45% of the range scale, and when the ACQ cursor is less than 5% of the range scale. Note also that the TOI will force an auto range scale increase when its range approaches the maximum range of the currently displayed range scale. That is how the system is designed and how it works on the real stuff. Regards. Merry Xmas to everyone! -
You won't probably break nothing at all. But a/c airframe will log an over-g and will have to be send in maintenance for deep structure verifications.

AI communications need FUEL STATE message.
Dee-Jay replied to DaveRindner's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I was also wondering how to make a flight fuel management ... Then a friend pointed me that thread. How possible that kind of essential function is not present in such combat simulation!? ... This is absolutely paramount to be able to take the role of a flight leader. Without that, realistic mission management is simply not possible. I am literally appalled. :( -
[CORRECT AS IS] auto-trimming after weapon fired
Dee-Jay replied to lee1hy's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Correct. I confirm that there is absolutely no roll auto-trimming feature in F-16 FLCS. Regards. -
Hi! There is no "zoom" for HSD page and that is normal and realistic. What we have is a "range scale up/down" accessible trough OSB 19 & 20 ... or the "expand" (EXP) mode triggered by the "Pinky Switch" when SOI is on HSD. Regards
-
Hi! And "Fuel Flow" and "Noz Pos". Regards.
