  3. How to derail a thread with only one post. Regarding the radar, I guess I need to watch it again. With this altitude line coming from the side lobe ground return, you are blind at this distance detecting targets? But this is only relevant at short distances. Is this also a problem once a lock has been established?
  4. Indeed, that's what I'm planning to do in first place. Maybe setting up a small SP mission with some huge IL-76 aircraft flying in a straight line and than trying to lock them while in the WSO seat.

  8. Thanks for the update. Appreciate the new key commands. Also the HSI TACAN course indicator is now aligned in DCS v2.9.3. But I noticed the following, maybe someone could check this out. I didn't have time to check with a different plane whether it's a map related issue. Was inbound Nellis in Nevada and set TACAN to 12X and radial 209° which should lead me directly between the two parallel runways, as the TACAN is located there. Being some miles out, it looks like the TACAN needle and course indication is directing me on course but parallel to the north. So as the TACAN would be located somewhere else outside of the base. When steering directly 209° and heading in between the runway, the TACAN needle and course points to the right. For a track file I need to re-create this without my mission with just a local flight. The original track is too large with me flying outbound 30 nm first. Thanks Jens

  10. First try was a custom mission in Nevada. Just a few minutes ago I tried Caucasus new mission, and only placed the C-101EB on the ramp. No luck. I also tried single threading version, cause first attempts were done in multi threading version. edit: @Rudel_chw thanks, exact same for me. So I have no clue. Here it's the module's livery folder which has an English cockpit folder with textures. Checking the dds files, the labels are in English but won't show up in game for me.
  11. I usually have the default one active and tried on my installation but this also didn't work. Setting to English and no change. Tried also with different avionics languages, but this didn't change anything. Will try later with fresh mission and Caucasus. I've only A-4 mod installed.
  12. Just finished reading the patch notes. Thanks for updating C-101 although you are busy with further F1 development. Hopefully I'll have some time for some hot and high flights in Nevada next weekend.
  13. Hello, was flying at night and wondered, if the display brightness of the UHF panel on the lower left console can be dimmed? Haven't found a switch and the display seems not to react to the other dimming options from the lighting panel. Thanks Jens
  14. Thanks, will try next time. Was not sure as this thread has quite a long history with different opinions and I guess changes throughout DCS versions whether this is a workaround or not.
  15. Glad I found this. Thought I had to switch something on the fuel panel for the center line tank to get refueled on the ground. Detaching and adding the tank is the way to go. Would be nice if the feature of refilling ext. tanks could be added.
  16. Thanks for the headsup. Razbam stated on discord that 0° restriction for weapon employment is a hard limit in DCS Harrier but not to the fully extend irl. Hopefully all the issues and quirks will get sorted out later this year.

  18. I have the TDC option unticked as described here: As I understand and this seems to work for me, I have to at least once pressing and releasing the TDS depress to create the designation. As for the need of the UFC. I don't think you need it, if you just want to use T0. This is set automatically. I think the UFC options are there to create a (target) point 1 - x on the designated coordinates. Nozzle selection is on two buttons and I make sure they are set to 0° before switching HUD mode from VTOL to NAV mode.
  19. Regarding 1. GAUT and RAUT should be okay. As I understand it, G or R are designations for GPS or radar altimeter as the altitude source and AUT(o) being the designation for CCRP mode as automatic release depending on weapons computer. DMT needs to be in TV mode, than you can TDC depress and slew. Next should be WP incr. long press to create T0 and you should see drop symbology when facing in this direction. Also make sure your nozzles are at 0°. When starting from runway or parking hot they are down to 10° and if you just takeoff conventional, they will stay when not tilted to 0°.
