Just did a clean install of DCS 1.5.2 and opened up the module manager for the first time. He prompted me with a window with all my installable modules, which I dismissed because I didn't want to download all of them as that would have taken many hours.
So I browesed through the module manager only to find ZERO of my modules left to install. I also tried unbinding them from my acc. etc. but nothing seems to work.
I have all modules exept the Dora, Kurfürst and Mirage but only the Mirage shows up under "Modules", as it is the only one I can buy.
How can I install my modules normally via the module manager? Now, that the good old installer variant is gone...
Chronic and blackasdf both have a point. However, RAZBAM apparently chose to release their module as open beta in a more unfinished state, compared to the A-10 from ED. The A-10 was more feature complete back then, no discussions about HUD accuracy or cockpit geometry had to be raised.
Man, if the developers would respond/implement these small changes I'd buy their plane in a heartbeat. I'm just not sure if they are eager to make their module realistic and up to DCS standards.
Maybe because the DCS: "M2000" is completely fictional and doesn't resemble the systems of the real world refernce.
Edit: Or because it has to do with ECM jamming.
Guys, I unfortunately missed the statement where Zeus said that they don't have any information on how that jammer function works, I gathered that they had the information but intended to leave it out simply for balancing reasons.
Great! Now the "game balancing" has finally reached DCS! Game balancing and "the most realistic flight simulator" should never mix. I feared that the day would come but someday DCS will be Warthunder 2.0.
I was being mildly sarcastic. Thing is, I'm sure that the FM will be awesome after some minor tweaks. The Fishbed needed a lot of tweaks as well, it's no big deal.
Man I would buy this thing in an instant but I can't fly a plane without any cockpit button sounds. It just breaks all the realism for me. Please Razbam include proper cockpit sounds during beta and I will buy it instantaniously!
Now this is the definition of a circle jerk thread. However, I hope that all these, rather random, suggestions won't influence the date of a small written update by LN.
I have Windows 7, no programs running in the background, fullscreen mode on and no vehicles spawned exept the A-10. As soon as the FLIR or MAV displays are on, the game stutters when looking around in the cockpit or while turning.
