  1. Nice job sedenion! Already send your application letter to Razbam?
  2. That sounds like the best deal.
  3. I've read every post carefully and decided to compare Zeus' approach to another example. However I don't see how your post reasonably contributes to the discussion.
  4. Following that logic, Belsimtek should've never included the whole electrical panels in the Mig-15, which are also obstructed and only readable when using TrackIR or the num controls to shift the view downwards. So what Belsimtek should've done is use a fake location for all the switches so users without TrackIR can read them without any difficulties.
  5. It really does look like it has been hitting the gym. If LN gets the engine sounds right then this will be my favourite module.
  6. Exactly! Besides, making the radar display comparatively smaller to it's real life counterpart makes it even harder to read in the simulation as we are in fact sitting in front of a screen with limiting POV, pixellation etc.
  7. Uuuhm pretty sure it's supposed to be that way. Edit: Here is the real one. It appears that the real screen is bigger indeed. Also some info is displayed in yellow text.
  8. "Direct Current World"
  9. Holy cow that looks extreme.
  10. If the manual states 8.5G then why can the DCS:2000C only fly ~7G?
  11. So it's 0.8 off?
  12. I haven't downloaded 2.0 yet due to the huge download size and because said shadows aren't implemented yet. Huge immersion killer for me. Oh I wouldn't worry about that, I'm sure ED isn't practising false advertising.
  13. I can feel the brute force just by looking at those pictures.
  14. I think this discussion was in no way useless. The community and customers voiced their opinions on the topic which resulted in a very sufficient solution for both parties, those who want it realistic and those who like it accelerated. Something similar was achieved for the Mig-21 with the disputed rudder help during taxiing.
  15. Thanks for answering, that sounds great. You sold me on it!
  16. But they will all be released after my death.
  17. Maybe set a smoother curve on the axis. I have the HOTAS Warthog and still had to set the curves to ~15 in order to make smooth coordinated turns. Full stick deflection in this aircraft is a no-go amyways.
  18. "Moderately advanced navigation unit", I hope that means that Cobra and his team will be the first guys in DCS to simulate things like position drift/ INS inaccuracies etc.
  19. Guys, the RAZBAM devs already said in the podcast that they will use the unrealistic INS alignment times because IRL the ground crew aligns it befor the pilot is even sitting in the cockpit, that's their argument for the decision.
  20. Was the first thing I noticed when looking at these screenshots. Did anyone see these shadows in game yet with flat shadows disabled?
  21. I doubt that ED will implement realistic FLIR after 5 years. Hopefully in the F/A-18 though!
  22. Indeed, I actually like that it has mostly A/G capabilities as the Mig-21 is just very limited in that respect. And for A/A the F-14 is just awesome anyways so we've got everything covered.
  23. ^Exactly.
  24. L-39, Uh-1, Mi-8 are on the same level in most areas.-
  25. No date yet. By the way, did you guys notice that ED added a new effect when you open the canopy in flight? Haven't read anything about it yet.
