Found only one rather cheap: $9,-. After that first one is $30,-...
-
No, there were more planes. However, without comms (or even "Copy" from Groundcrew) it still is weird that armament is placed, no Copy, no "Rearming Complete", nothing... The outgoing message ("request rearming") is send and received...
-
@hegykc: first one looks good, however.. to the Netherlands the shipping rate is $30,-....... In that case shipping the original switch including the side/mounting plastic from TM is even cheaper..

Yes. I know. But pls enlighten me: how is it possible that in the first setting I get response, and in the second (exact the same startup etc) I get NO response, but notice after a short periode that AGM's suddenly appear under my wings...??? Bug, if you ask me. (and yes, I had my canopy open... )

Thank you. Very kind. But I read it already. You don't get my point: the manual says: I get that. No rocket science degree necessary. However, if I select Anti-Collision (and for that I need the pinky in AFT pos), it works, until I switch it to center. If I switch back to AFT again, the anti-collision does not switch back on again. That I don't get. Why is that? If I wanted it disabled, I would switch to FWD. However, everything else than AFT flips the a.c. switch on the panel right back. Why? Why not keep it in that position, because I can disable it with the pinky? In other words: moving the pinky affects the actual state of the panel switches. That is the thing I am curious about.

Bit of a topic bump (...) but, what IS the difference between fwd and aft? If I switch it into aft position, I'm able to set the anticollision switch on the panel to ON. If I switch to center, then fwd, the anticollision switch flips back (into off position), all lights are off. Then in fwd, default lights are on again. If I put it in aft again, same lights still function, however, anticollision remains off..? So, what more lights are switched off when switching from aft to fwd? Can't figure it out...

Same here. Often no response, but sometimes unexpected. Also: I think it's mostly on MP servers? Yesterday on the 104th: I asked ground crew rearm and refuel. "Copy". "Rearming complete". I ask permission to taxi: no response. Somehow I got distracted and f**ked up. Had to start all over again. So, I choose a new A10C, ask rearm and refuel: ..... silence. Ask again: ..... silence. Suddenly, without any notice, I see AGM's appearing under the wing...

I had the same; mailed to customer support from TM (€27,20...) but it arrived within a week...

Help understanding Saitek profiles and DCS
GurbY replied to Tello's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Bull. It has to work, somehow we all here must be able to figure it out. Did you clear all input in the correct categorie in DCS? Question: when you assign G to some button and name it GurbY (...), do you see that text in the display..?? -

If you run the control panel from Saitek, all input is recognized? And if you run SST, does it show which button is pressed including the correct function? Try to assign "G" to, lets say, the big white button on the throttle and name it gear or something. When you press that button, does the display on the throttle say "gear"? If yes, it should work in DCS... -

Tello, did you install SST and have the profile loaded? Do you see a square around the taskbar icon? And yes, connect when the program asks to. -

You give a big deal of help there Mano, but I have to disagree with you about the 3.0 drivers. I've had the X52 Pro myself and it functioned 100% on a USB2.0 port without the removal of the 3.0 drivers. I also connected it to the 3.0 ports first, but what I did was - remove hardware - remove all Saitek drivers - reboot - install Saitek drivers - connect to USB2.0 port (Tello, mind the difference with your action; first install drivers, THAN connect!!) All ok. Quickest solution is install SST and load an active profile. Try one of Mano's, there ok! -
50 is just... well... a few years ago... ;-)

Buying a Warthog Hotas stick on sale
GurbY replied to ctguy1955's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I got a complete set (stick & throttle) from ebay for €122,50. -
Ouch.. looks BAD... About the extention: I read it everywhere; must be a great addition. However, I have the stick on my desk and have to move it to the side everytime I'm finished... I don't think missus GurbY would appreciate any more cluttering around... ;-)

I bought a S/H TM Warthog. A beast, compared to what I had. One question: if I want to twist the stick, just like a stick with rudder axis (which it don't have, I know), I am able to twist it a LITTLE bit. Lets say about less than half a cm left/right. Is this normal? In other words, can you "twist" your WH? Or is it rock and rock solid?

So did I. I ordered it..

How does the Head Tracker thingy work?

Should I get Rudder "Feet" Pedals?
GurbY replied to sethshark's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I should say: no. Basic understanding: sure. I have flown FS.. for many years (since the Bruce Artwick edition..... ) and was flying sims for years before I got my PPL/GPL. I don't have the impression that it helped, although I was familiar with a lot of things. The feeling however is unique and can't be experienced in a sim. On the other hand: if you manage to fly sims that look like the plane you are going to fly (lets say, Cessna), then, it that case, I would say: sure. That helps. But learning to fly a simulated A10C isn't going to help a lot in flying a Cessna, in my opinion. -
opentrack with delanclip/ps3eye vs. trackir with delanclip?
GurbY replied to a topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I do know that there are two different models and I found something on the internet. You have to compare the lenses. However, I cannot figure out if I do have the correct one. Or not. Just don't know how to see the diff in the lenses.. Another question, GeorgeLKMT, you say you use FacetrackNoIR. But... the whole purpose of FTNoIR was the NoIR matter..?? It was meant to use it as a facetracker, not an IR tracker? -
Pilot log is located in users\#name#\saved games\DCS\Mission Editor Seems that you reïnstalled DCS again, otherwise the user dir wouldn't be overwritten....
