  1. Since the update to 1.5.4 I cannot choose the Mi-8 in mission editor. In the 2.0 version: no problem at all. I disabled and uninstalled the module, and installed again. However, in ME the Mi-8 is grey, and I cannot select Player.. If I selected the Mi-8 and leave the ME, the system "hangs", won't return to main menu. If I then select a flyable aircraft, I can return to main menu. Furthermore: when I want to exit to desktop: "DCS stopped working". Repair didn't do the job...
  2. I made both versions JSGME compatible, and tried them both ofcourse. However, apart from the missing downwards view from the "new" setup, I really can't detect any difference between both, or it must be a slightly slower/less sensitive setup. (I must say, I really, really hate the "only-HUD-view" and do want to keep an eye on the instruments while my TrackIR is centered, but that's personal). Anyone who can tell me the (big) difference between both old and new?
  3. Correct; Z is last weapons release. If you create a manual markpoint, it shows up as A, B, etc. in the HUD. I assume you put the dial on the AAP on MARK...
  4. And you see the markpoint in the HUD (lower right section where the waypoints are, you will see "Z" as waypoint)

I agree; it's not possible to fire an AGM while flaps are down. However, stated is " Deployed flaps will cause the laser to stop firing". That's something else, and that's something that I don't recognize. Will test also.

Never heard of that; could you indicate that somewhere in the manual? I DO know the fact that you get a FLAPS warning in the MFCD while using AGM's, but that's merely to indicate that when firing (and maybe it isn't even possible to fire) you would damage the flaps..
  7. A known problem. Try Bartheks ground texture, or Starway's (if you still can find the last one). It's a bit better with these.
  8. 4 switches on the left panel...
  9. And increase number of frames.
  10. Disc version...??? A10-C is download version as of a few years already... Uninstall what you installed per disc, download DCS World and install the A10-C download version with your (disc) key. Everything in cockpit is crystal clear.
  11. Check http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=65901 and see post 7 and 38 (throttle and stick zips). Furthermore: did you check if it's everywhere, or only in DCS? (and don't use TARGET...)
  12. Hmmm. Yes and no. Although I like things like search etc in a doc on a tablet, I still very much appreciate the printed manual...
  13. Check Lulu.com https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiAzrSVoaDLAhXLPhQKHSpXAYsQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lulu.com%2Fshop%2Feagle-dynamics%2Fdcs-a-10c-warthog-manual%2Fpaperback%2Fproduct-20469424.html&usg=AFQjCNHbknSfcOfWtaiOG5NiXR2OWwdC7Q&sig2=BhJxnzGi-8GwcQ5w-T8nwA&bvm=bv.115339255,d.d24
  14. And thank you for this great contribution to this thread.
  15. Last sentence is complete answer to the OP...
  16. Am I the one who's not paying attention here..?? TS asks something about AIM-9 modes, and the answer is something about gunfire....?? Where did I go wrong in understanding it all..??
  17. RTFM. You can use * and, I thought, / on the num keypad. Or bind them to your hotas. Edit: sniped!
  18. Slew option isn't there..??
  19. Check http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=158619
  20. This is going way way off topic. Question of TS was not whether or not to use Steam. Question was how it was possible that despite missions visible in the game directory, no missions could be found ingame. I had the same issue. I believe that in 2.0 (openalpha) missions and campaigns are still work in progress. However, if the missions are present in the game directory, you still can fly them, just by browsing ingame by pressing the little folder icon above the empty mission screen. If you browse to the correct directory, you see the missions appear. DCS does that too. Just go to your profile and check serial. Or go ingame to module manager and press "serial number". What snafup says. You even have it in the Windows Start menu: DCS Repair.
  21. Almost the same as I did before I had my pedals: the pinky switch (not the NWS button) as modifier, and throttle coolie hat left/right as rudder. Worked rather ok. I needed the axis from the INC/DECR slider for zoom in/out.
  22. input settings can be found at users\yournamehere\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input If you copy that dir and place it/overwrite the newly install then all your input is as it was before. TrackIR can be found at drive\Program Files (x86)\Natural Point\TrackIR5\Profiles To use the NTTR: you need the terrain mod which can be bought in the ED shop. Good luck. Note: if you didn't update the old 1.2 version to 1.5, the first folder structure needs to be \Saved Games\DCS World\etc
