  1. Nineline talked about it a few days ago on hoggit
  2. Unfortunately this problem still persists with the newest hotfix. 2.5.6.49798 In 2D its 90-120fps with shadows off 70-90 with flat, and 30-40 with shadows on low. Haven't measured different settings in VR but with shadows on low its 15-21fps. Don't want to turn shadows off as its completely immersion breaking for me, especially in VR which is what I fly exclusively.
  3. Make sure you switched the inverters on, I had this issue too 2 days ago after getting back into it and initially thought the Inlet Cone was in manual mode for some reason but it just turned out I forgot to switch the Inverters and Battery Heat to on.
  4. Its installed fine for me with the new update just using JSGME like before
  5. Been flying it for a few hours today, new FM feels fantastic!
  6. Whenever 2.5.6 is deemed stable enough to go on stable, it seems pretty decent so far. There isnt a set timeframe
  7. SC is now added to the patch notes at the top
  8. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=273255 Planned for tomorrow
  9. Very much appreciate posts like this! Thanks G B and Lex.
  10. In the instant action "Take Off" mission in caucasus I am at 65% in idle and 98% in Mil on the ground, keep in mind this will rise with airspeed. Afterburner will rise above 100% eventually but on the ground it stays with 98% for me until the airspeed builds and the fans get some air to drink.
  11. Yea I'm pretty sure all the special liveries are, makes it cheaper and easier to remove in case they're needed for operation.
  12. Says 158,75mm x 158,75mm at 1024x1024 pixels in the article, so that should be about 9 inches diagonal if a quick google is correct.
  13. (In german) https://www.bundeswehr.de/de/organisation/luftwaffe/aktuelles/-quadriga-eurofighter-fliegt-auch-ohne-ila-256520 Plus a video
  14. Brand spanking new livery!
  15. Just to make it clear, I'm in no way meaning to bash true grit or anything, this is real early days, of course things arent going to be perfect. But the textures do look a bit flat and without much depth, I have looked at plenty real typhoon pictures dont worry, I know they look pretty smooth. Had a couple fly over me too (havent been at an airshow yet though sadly). The exterior isnt terrible in any way, its just that the interior exceeds the quality of the exterior right now. Although I'm sure that will change as progress is made. The lighting could also be the culprit. Overall I'm just really excited, very much appreciate the progress pictures and just made a little comment.
  16. Looking good. Exterior textures don't look up to par yet with the rest but obviously its WIP. Especially like the "hidden" back up instruments.
  17. Or they just want to have some information on the communities preferences so they can then make further decisions based on multiple factors but with community input on what should be developed before something else.... sounds a lot less conspiring to me
  18. People have reported this is an issue with an Nvidia Driver, cant remember what exact version to roll back to to fix the issue but its around here somewhere on the forum
  19. It should work for both version I believe.
  20. Perhaps the EA release could just work the same way the Eurofighter got introduced, Public Info permitting.
  21. Yes, here it is with a timestamp:
  22. Growling Sidewinder edits the explosion sounds on his videos when a missile hits, so thats where you probably got that from. In the sim itself speed of sound is a factor and with distance the delay will increase.
  23. Adding to what Notso said: You gotta practice right. For Videos theres the Art of the Kill: In terms of books theres no way around "Fighter Combat: Tactics and Maneuvering" By Robert L. Shaw if you wanna take a deep dive into the world of air combat.
  24. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=266780 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=267581 Guys, its on the same forum page :P
