I've been enjoying your script! I'm trying to figure out how to tweak the sample mission (I suck too much to try from scratch at this point...) you provided and want to change the type of planes the are flying around to military type. Now I'm a total noob when it comes to LUA editing. I've found the area with the parameters that need changing. My question is, is there a list somewhere (I did actually search but didn't find what I was looking for with the terms I used) so I know what exactly I should put in? Is it only the "type" I need to worry about or is the livery ID also needed- I'm assuming that if I don't specify the livery it will be the default. Thanks for any help any of you can give!

Okay, couldn't handle waiting for my SSD to arrive so I threw in an old platter drive (gawd do I hate the loading times!) and tried adding your stuff to an existing mission. It worked! Looks good so far, have to do some more testing but I like the added traffic from what I had already created. Well done and thanks!!

I just couldn't take it any more and dug around the house and found an old platter drive that I through in as I remembered that I would have to reactivate everything once again as my main drive died... better to get it out of the way now and I also remembered how easy it is to copy over the install folders to another drive... so... LOL Great thread. 58 here and got into flight sims while in the Orient playing Red Baron on an Apple II+ in the early mid 80s with a monochrome screen all wire frame graphics... Ah those were the days... not! Been with this sim since the original Flanker, through LOMAC, Flaming Cliffs, right up to the present. It's been a wonderful and exciting ride watching the slow development of the initially stated dream so many years ago... Still have all those discs, too. I'll be doing this stuff until the put me 6' under. My wife is very accepting. :)

I see that 3 people were kind enough to take a look at my mission. Hopefully in the past day or two you've had time to actually look at it. My question to you is, did the Kutaisi Mi-8 and Huey CTD on you when you selected that slot and clicked on start? I would be very surprised if not, but you never know. Okay, seeing this has really been bugging me and I can't figure out why it's this way, the 30 min. I had for lunch today I spent putting things back the way they were and tested it again. Yes, the Huey and Mi-8 at Kutaisi CTD every single time I click on the appropriate slot. Mission is attached. Thanks for taking the time to look at it! :thumbup:

Looney, thanks for the reply. Since the release version is exactly the same as the beta version I had to move those two helos out to another airfield in order to be able to fly them. I'll have to put them back where they were before being able to upload it. Unfortunately that will have to be in a few days as this week is extremely busy for me work wise and in my personal life and I have very little time to play with any games. :( Will do so as soon as I am able. I'll also take Bignewy's lack of response to my question to him as meaning there was nothing of note in the part of my log that he posted. Most of what is in the logs is "greek" to me. :D
