I am completely new to Stream Deck (got one this afternoon) but for the life of me I can't get it working with DCS. Hotkeys are just not registered, whatever I do - but they are working fine for any functions or keys outside of DCS. What obvious thing am I missing? I got it working with Export Script etc, but it should just work with hotkeys.....right?

You can drag it off the screen afaik. Useful - yes. But speed shown on the screen somewhere also would be useful in F-14. Should we have it however?

that FLOLS overlay is one of the most immersion braking things ever added to DCS and yes, you only get it with SC

In TWS there is no lock, so you'll never get a diamond on the HUD. On TID, you will see what order AWG-9 assigned ( I don't think Jester ever changes it) to targets. You basically just can fire when Hot trigger light is on. Tgt no. 1 is the next you will fire upon.

Would take Forrestal over SC any day.

I think the best compromise would be releasing Forrestal and using it in the future missions.

As long as we don't have to buy SC to play F-14 campaigns - I am happy. Thank you guys!

I noticed that it does look like Jester switches to RWS but really he just switches to TWS-A 2-bar 40° from 4-bar 20° - are you sure this is not what actually happens?

yes, with HUD Modes it is possible

yes, I've got HUD Mode switches assigned to my Cougar MFD, and VDI Mode to button on the throttle

Just tried instant mission PG BVR - launch at 42 miles - chaffs released few seconds later, also AI knows which plane is being shot at.... :doh: Tacview-20201014-155241-DCS-F-14B_IA_PG_BVR.zip

AI reacts instantly to 25-30 miles Phoenix shot. Have not tried longer distances but I bet it's the same. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

F-14 and Harrier are the easiest for me (I don't bother to fly Hornet any more), Hog and 16 I can do but will disconnect, usually more than once. Sent from my SM-T720 using Tapatalk

If you already have target iluminated (by JTAC or another airplane), you don't need LANTIRN. But you need to know where the target is :-)

I was really looking forward to the Mudhen, but after this showing - no way I will be buying it, unless RAZBAM does something to convince me otherwise. There are other modules and even other games, why waste time?
