  1. Thanks very much :) I use 3DsMax7-thats all. Some points to the downsload site: Its full of marketing promotion, in german only but free. There is a counter in the middle of the screen wich start. After 12 seconds the numbers of counter become to the donload link. Click it right and give the path you want to download it- thats all. Its a complete MODMAN file- So easy to handle but save your "meinit.xlm" before, please. I rebuilded the AIM-9Sidewinder and the AIM120AMRAAM as low poly models. Now the AIM9 for examblehave 269triangles and one texture about 1024x1024. Thats good for the performance. Here I have an Ingame shot: Fahrenheit starts to rebuild the GBU-15 for new course the LOMAC is a little bit undermodeled. Is there someone out there who can post some pics about that BS GBU-15, please? Think that should be the best target:) My very best wishes, TOM
  2. Hello, Nice pic- thank you. My intention after I started was to follow strictly all the blueprints I had for comparisons but it was an mistake. The same old story one more time. I droped the nose down a little bit- Now it looks be right. One basic point: My philosophie is a little bit complicate so I can try to explain it. Yes, of course I`m able to make my models much smoother them they are now. But the point is (and thats my absolutely personally position) that a model isn`t good if I used hundred thousands of polys. The maintain reason is following: Most users of LOMAC have relative good hardware. But the problem is that the generally structure of processores not changed the last years. And LOMAC wasn`t concepted for more them one processor. So the load of work witch a normally computer can handle isn`t much more as years before. If anybody concept and build a aircraft, tank, missile or whatever, he have to limit the polycount. Otherwise its sure that the player will get problems with his frames while he fly. So for examble: I downloaded an Su27 (not 3GO) and installed it. I edited me and 3 wingmans in a mission over kerch and started: The result was a shutdown and my pc restarted. I searched for the mistakes and founded the failure: The Su27 builder used 270.000 polys for one fighter only! Thats the same load as like as a battle with over hundreds of fighters in the air in doghfights. Okay- the model was nice and very smothfull- but unuseable. In area of graphic cards we have much more possibilitys as years before. In 2002 (most members used DirectX8.1!) a card about 1GB RAM was simply unpayable. But now it is and so we can use much more detailed textures. So my philosophie is a good balance between polycounts and textures for a good and realistic look- And I think: Thats the real art of modding. Yes- A round and complete look is nice but I will fly with more them one fighter. Yup Borchi- We have to train the last maneuver we did with Raven. :) So- Here I have V1.5. It have some ideas and modifications just like nose, lights, lighten monitores, fixes rear pilot animations... Please make sure that you save "meinit.xlm" and "Shapes" folder before installing this mod!!!!!   3. Hey, thanks for translation. Well- think English is near German. But to learn German is an really ass pain job - really. Confuse grammar and most Germans don`t use it right. So I can understand that most people in the hole world like to learn English. .... oh sorry - back to topic: I created some better textures for LANTIRN LASER and Navigation pods and isolated these parts and tanks from my StrikeE.   4. Hi, Yes I can create flashing lights. Can you tell me wich lights should blink and wich not, please? Another question is : Can I use real lights? I mean: a material wich truly shine a light over a seperated area and the LOMAC engine can create shadows and reflections. Just like for examble the flares or wingtip lights about green and red shinings. Hey Crazyeddie: Thanks. I used many translation programmes but I wasn`t able to find something like "gem".   5. Hello, yes- it´s possible for your wingmans to use all bombs for ground attacks. The way is easy: I loaded my wingman with bombs I needed for my mission. Mission goal was to destroy an airfield and parked su27`s. I used the command tool : "engage ground targets" - and the wingman attacked the targets I gave them in EDITOR before the mission starts. But this option will works for own wingmans only. :smilewink: Best wishes, TOM
  6. Thanks, yes, I have to correct rear pilots animation. I`m so sorry - I forgot it to correct. I knew there is a little "jump" between frame 25 to 0 . The pic about the lights is very interestingbut it confused me well : Right side normaly marked with green lights and the photo show a green lamp at the wingtip and a fat red light near rightern intake. However: I`ll interprete it. Some more skins would be nice--I hope that a skin guru will create one. Maintain problem is that I wouldn`t use the LOMAC textures. I like to see readable instructions for groundpersonals just like "use tool 12" or "do not paint this". The resolution of LOMAC textures about the F-15 aren`t high enough but was higly standard in 2002. Modern graphic cards can take much more My very best wishes, TOM

  10. Hi, they stopped?! Hell ... why?! Grmpff . ... . ... ... Sku luse sent me some pictures about the StrikeE so I was able to set some better squad. markings as well I pointed out that it is possible to set "fiz" markings into the meinit. So I had the chance to load the complete possible payload on the StrikeEagle as fighter The model count arround 9.900 polys right now and works very fine in couple with the LOMAC engine. I planed to insert tailnumbers , a skin-file and a small little damage model. I had to modify my textures a little bit more with grey. Its a very good feeling to fly with it. I hope that some day a Strike Eagle can be a real option for Digital Combat Series including cockpit for pilot and WSO. Same as opposite the Su30MKK ....Hell:punk: My very best wishes, TOM

Actually I won`t force this project because some other guys started the same one but much more acurate and a lot better. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=45153&page=3 The point is that I won`t crash into other projects and I have to respect other hard workings.   13. Yeah - thats it. Cool - thanks. It should be allways a question of view angle to object. If somebody out there who remind about "F-15 StrikeEagleIII" by "Microprose". In this game the user had the option to fly as pilot or weapon system operator. Think that would be a great option for DCS someday.   14. Hi, thanks a lot. I was a little bit confuse after I saw last postet pics `course I use very detailed prints. In photos the canopy section looks a little bit higher. Isn`t it possible that Airforce modifyed their cockpit section after after they becam some heavy problems with breaking spants while flying, is it? Otherwise I have to modify it as well.   15. Well, yes. Okay- there are many things to do to upgrade parts of LOMAC. Specially some aircrafts and helicopters. But I allways on the point that if it is an modded aircraft nearly the original LOMAC fighter- them it should be okay. So for examble the switching between F-15c and E-version. (And dammed- I`ll do it if I will find out a way to drob bombs with it!) Well - Should be okay for 9.982 polygons InGame graphic: Cheers, TOM
  16. Hello, I like it a lot. I should be a nice aircraft for airshows just like VFAT. A little lovely single display world be pretty nice. I constructed an F-15StrikeEagle in the past an its nice to show some upgrades of the Eagle family. Think the western aircrafts are a little bit under represented while we have 3 Mig variants and two Flanker jets. Allthough eastern jets have a great design :) Oh ... sorry - dreamed . I like the British version too. I`m a little bit confused that noone in all the last years didn`t have the idea to build a British or French carrier.   20. Hi john_X I was a little bit shocked after your last comments. So I`m not pretty sure, if it is right to tell you some things `course you are a modeler too and I think you know how hard this work can be. Think my Mig isn`t okay- Well- I used original NVA-planes about the 9/12. If you don`t like it- not my problem! -Think it`s a little bit to easy to make critics to other great mods while you are not able to finish your own project! -You had a lot of critics about a wrong nose, false look and stoff like that while you are not able to set one ****ing argument at your model! And we don`t talking about a damage model, lights, Tailnumbers or some other operations like this! In this way you show the white flag just like this: i dont have the time to work at this project anymore. all i have for now is the 3d model with an unfinished romanian texture...i can finish the damage model but after that i cant do anything more so, i need a person who knows how to make the animations and all the rest of the settings, basicly to create the mod having assured the finished 3d model... -On the left hand you fill your thread full of questions about : "How to make these? How to make that?" And on the right hand site your attack the same people you asked before. Do you realize, what a bullshit it is, isn`t it? -Noone thrust you to download any mod to any time. You don`t have to pay for anything and you are definitivly not in the position to make comments like that! -Send me your Max-file and I will show you some mistakes you did- Thats an very simple job! -BTW - You can`t use a 50.000Poly model for online sessions. So you create a lag- machine! The only thing you did was to fill these thread with bloody comments- Nothing more. Borchi did an great job. He have enough experience to finish these projekt as well.   22. Hi, Hey- thanks a lot for all. I wasn`t pretty sure if my model is ready nowadays but to build a complete carrier is a madness project. I think, that the model is good and I used arround 170.000polys and I don`t will use one poly more. But my textures are pretty low level and I will be very happy if some Skin-Gurus start to make it better. Looks great Eddie :) My impressions to start it? I saw these site: http://www.carrierbuilders.net/gallery/20070318_USS_Enterprise_1-72/20070318_USS_Enterprise_1-72.htm I tryed to use a high resulution satelite photo over the deck of my model - But it looked not very profiessionaly. So my only option to create a complet new texture for it. However... I`m very happy about the feedback and hope, I was able to made LockOn one step better. My intention is allways, to make LOMAC fit for the future. Since 2002, the simulation started, the hardware did becomes better and better. So there was more space for graphic designers to make some thinks better as before. I was really shocked after I realized that BlackShark wasn`t a update for LOMAC cause an ownstanding simulation! My personal opinion is that ED gave up the LockOn series much to early. I hate helicopters and I love to fly jets. I like to compare Russian battle systems against western systems and I like speed. In BS I can fly one heliciopter only. I mean, BS is the benchmark for all simulation in future and I really hope, that high performance jets will come into it with same simulated deep as the Ka50. Just like Mig-29, F-16 or F-18 so if it is possible and allowed to show. And up to these days I tryed to make my lovely LockOn better and better. However- I saw some A-10 module pics and yes- that looks great. Think ED will make the next brillant move into the future. Best wishes, TOM

  24. This is an carrier update I worked for since two years. Well- the problem is that I used 170.000 polygons and thats much to heavy. This projekt is an never ending story... I stopped the work after I saw first pics from VNAO Carrier Mod. [/url]
