It would be helpful if you guys would tell us wether you pre-ordered via ED or HeatBlur...

It's a known issue with this module, no solution has been found by the devs yet. Try assigning your controls from within a mission (just press ESC and then 'Adjust controls'). This workaround works for most players.

2.8 Gig for me. :)

How I broke my HOTAS in under 30 minutes...

Well, the guy's last activity was in 2014, so you might wait a long time for his reply... -
Agreed. For each foreign language cockpit I have to 'kind of' memorize maybe 10 to 15 words max to find my way around. After a little practice I should be able to get by just by knowing the position of the switches. And if in doubt or for less common switches I always have the English tool tips. So I'll definitely use the Swedish cockpit. But great to have the English option for people who really want it. PS: Exception to the rule for me are the Russian pits. Playing this game for a couple of years now (and probably a year MiG-21 exclusively) I have to admit I'm still struggling with the cyrillic letters. Might be a sign that I'm getting old. :) Yeah thanks to the Viggen a lot of people will remember the Swedish term for Auto Throttle!

Oh I'm pretty sure there'll be a patch this friday since we are supposed to get our new toy that day. :) (Unless they patch it into 2.0 first which would be pretty mean towards the Viggen fans that didn't opt into the Alpha ^^)

Are you sure you are in the right place? Are you entering your initial position (WP00) before starting the INS alignment? Mission works fine for me, as soon as I am at WP2 I get a prompt to use F10 menu. (Just tested, original version of the campaign, not the updated one) I didn't switch any channels, so leave it at 1 Red, 1 Green.

You can look at this post to see that there were a couple of significant fm changes since the last update for 2.0 in november.

-
Sure, would be great. But at the current point I'd be glad if the wingmen would conistently start their engines and take off at mission start or refrain from CFITing for no apparent reason. That would be a start.
-
Optionen einstellen (rechts oben).

Jep it's a long standing problem, nothing you can do about it right now (except moving the first locked target out of your radar gimbals by turning away). Maybe this issue could be revisited by the devs once the module gets fine tuned. This is normal behaviour and works as intended. The radar is fixed to the horizon, not your aircrafts pitch or roll (within the gimbal limits of course). Pointing the nose doesn't move the radar cone. If you want to look up, use radar elevation.

Yep this is bound to happen. I just hope it isn't me on the receiving end. ^^ Reminds me of the good times when Hadwell killed a guy with a Grom. :D
-
Let's just say the problem has come up a couple of times before. :) Glad it works now! Did you select EXT on the PCA for the outer rocket pods? (INT obviously is for the inner ones and is selected by default once Master Arm on and RK3 selected). See Attachment. Works fine for me in 1.5.
-
Turn off Easy Comms to make the radios functional. Regarding rockets: did you also load bombs together with the rocket pods?

But... the music! -_- Sounds like a dying cat. :helpsmilie:

Oh, thanks for correcting me about it being a factor. That system with all its rules and exceptions could use its own 400pg DCS manual. :book: (and I might have exaggerated a little bit up there. His current rep is actually 211, so a one time 'attention' shouldn't hurt you too much - apart from the soul crushing experience itself of course ;) )
-
Look at this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=172950 All the answers should be in the first few pages. :) Long story short: It all depends on the rep power of the one who gives the rep. If I +rep you, you get 4(!) more points. If you +rep someone, this person gets 11 more points. If Wags reps someone, he gets like ~5000 points. Unless it's negative rep - then you're pretty much f'ed! ;)

Thank you very much! Good work and very interesting read.

So this is just getting better and better, isn't it? :D Great feature!

So these custom kneeboard pages... are they generated automatically for each mission?
