  1. Well seeing that Q1 ends in less than 2 weeks, I'm pretty positive this won't happen. ;)
  2. This is part of the current big 2.0 bug that spans across multiple modules. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=184062 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=184537 ED is gonna have to figure this one out.
  3. Devs say they have some nice ideas how to make that pod useful. So why not give them the benefit of the doubt for now and see what they come up with before we draw our conclusions?
  4. A fix is in the pending update list for 1.5 and I guess it will be in the next update. It might even be in 2.0 already (can't test atm).
  5. No lock warning for TWS, only STT. Keep in mind that when a 530 is launched from TWS the radar automatically switches to STT for guidance. So the target is warned as soon as the missile is fired.
  6. https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=535
  7. Agreed. And just look at the flak Razbam already got for bending realism in some minor instances. IMO stuff like this is exactly what mods are for.
  8. In that case I agree with Buzzles: stuff that comes with the module should probably be on the free map. It's the only fair way to guarrantee that everybody gets the same value for his money.
  9. It works, at least if you use the switch in the cockpit with the mouse. Not sure about the key binding.
  10. Basic training missions (coming with the module) on the free map. In depth training campaign (DLC?) in NTTR Combat campaign (coming with the module?) in Caucasus
  11. I agree that the sharp edges are an engine limitation. Nevertheless I believe that devs can model the shape of the cone (width, angle, distance) themselves because many modules I own have useful taxi lights. Objects will always pop up in the light but it isn't that obvious if it happens at a greater distance and not 10 meters in front of you like in the Mirage. ;) So if the light cone of the taxi light would simply reach out to a greater distance we could actually see where we are going or if anything is in the way and as a nice side effect the nasty pop ups wouldn't be this noticeable.
  12. I made a bug report about this some time ago: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=176881 It didn't get too much attention though.
  13. Hm F-18 is pretty glassy as well. But you are right, the Tuc may very well be out before that one. :music_whistling::lol:
  14. Haha jep, deswegen steht jetzt auch einmal Mai und einmal April in der Ankündigung. ;)
  15. Yeah a couple of things make more sense now. For example the recent silence around the Corsair and Pacific theater projects, which stay with Leatherneck as far as I understood. Good luck to both teams!
  16. Nah, that one guy is just the boss. ;) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=184409
  17. Livestream is Saturday next week afaik.
  18. No. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3072987&postcount=1356
  19. Did you check if it works if you are not in VR? Just to narrow down the problem... Also, DCS 1.5 or 2.0 Alpha?
  20. Can you guys already estimate in which condition this will hit early access? Will it be similar to the Mirage (basics working, but a lot of stuff still to be done) or are you aiming for a more complete release this time? Either way is fine by me, I'd just like to know what to expect. :)
  21. If you are trying from the main menu, try from within the mission instead (ESC - Adjust Controls) - or vice versa. Might help.
  22. Yep seen some of that too: Viggen (cold start) often has power on after restarting although all swiches are turned off. On the Mirage it's often related to INS stuff: waypoints dipsplayed on the VTB remain visible after restart, also manually entered waypoints stay in the system.
  23. It really depends a lot on what you are actually looking for: If you want a fast mover, the A-10 is not for you. If you want A/G, the Mirage comes last. For A/A on the other hand it's the obvious choice. Systems wise the A-10 is rather complex, but it's all very logical. So it's not that it's very complicated stuff, it's just a lot of it. ;) So it's rather a quantity than a quality issue, if you will. Just make sure you have a HOTAS with tons of buttons. ^^ Viggen and Mirage systems complexity is pretty similar IMO, although they feel completely different. Mirage is more digital while Viggen is analog. When it comes to simply flying Mirage is easiest thanks to FBW, A-10 is also a piece of cake and Viggen takes a bit more practice. But since you already have experience in FC3 that shouldn't be a big concern. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum!
  24. I'm pretty sure you can't as a consumer. Otherwise it would be a pretty lame copy protection. ;) aaaaaaaand sniped! ;)
